I am a beginner, only started to play GT 7 three months ago. Already addicted. Thanks for this kind of videos, very helpful for me to understand how to take the corners and the reasoning behind it, looking forward to more
Noob question. Pls help. I play the campaign. Keep spinning out on the last chicane in a Porsche. Just can't seem to find a reason why. My line might not be perfect, but it seems that after a certain angle of wheel (and a really small one) the car just throws the backside into an oversteer and it turns into a spin. Got the intermediate tires on. Minimal tuning parts. Almost stock. Appreciate any help. Cheers.
what could i be doing wrong? i’m using bop tuning for weekly c and consistently losing speed with gear three exit from Source and gear six through Rouge essentially ruining the lap. i’m seeing a top speed of only 162 max on Kemmel. my lap times are 2:19.230 at best
I think it's obvious, but will ask anyways, the gear selection in each corner is heavily "car based"? Corvette for example, you'd maybe not upshift to 3rd out of turn 1, or into 4th before the off camber right hander...better to look at your MPH and aim for that based on whatever car you're in? Great guides every time I watch one...thank you for posting them
@@MightyM84 top time is a 2:15.2 -Insane driving at those lap times. I can Maybe do a low 17 if I practice for an hour but I'm not getting near a 15 in this lifetime.
Have they updated the game since this video like with track grip etc cause I’ve recently come back to the game and I just did a 2:16.3 on ps4 controller and I don’t usually race on PlayStation or controller since I have iracing etc on pc
There are updates but also depends on settings you was running in game, if you just jumped in TT single player no BOP etc also tyres only way to compare is when it’s daily race with correct settings on, but it is little faster on new physics now.
Fantastic lap guide, love it mate! Is it possible if you can do an explanation on how to take Eau Rouge when you’re on dirty air? I keep getting penalties smh
You really have to be aggressive and sim to cut top but not to much just so you don’t get loads understeer but yes it’s very tricky when folllowing another car.
As a controller player I do a very quick off the throttle back on the throttle to help shift the weight as im steering to reduce understeer as much as possible. On you hone it in you will work out how little to come of the throttle and ease in to not lifting and going flat out.
@@thekie25 I have it on max. Even changed controller and it just doesn’t turn sharp enough. I guess wheel and pedals is the only way forward to be competitive. Thanks for replying 👍
So this guide is not for controller users? I'm finding it rather impossible to get through that 2nd turn flat out without going straight into the wall..
Thank for the guide went from a 2.20.700 to a 2.18.200 in B rating lobbies. (First GT im playing)
Looking forward to tonights stream

Great guide Kie. Very descriptive on not just where to break but how to get through the corners. Very helpful.
Man had a practice lap last night ....need this video more than I ever knew !
Best track guides around, the lines into corners are super helpful. Thanks
I did a lap too, I'm slow as mo' lasses. This should really help.
Thank you mate. I couldn't increase my score since 2 days. Now I just did 1.58.4. Thank you again

Thank you Kie, excellent guide. It helped me pick the right car and gold the Manufacturers cup vs AI.
Great vid again, these are so helpful for a noob like me.
Love this track and thought my 2.18.0 was fast until i saw this. Made it to A rank for the first time ever yesterday because of spa.
Thanks again Kie. Once again the training begins.
Thanks Kie for the guide 🙏

Every car has different optimal gear changing points as they all have different gearing.
I drove a 2:15,073 with this thanks!!
Quite a solid lap indeed. 1.5 seconds faster than mine, and thought it was a good and fast lap. 😂
Ikr I thought my 2:20 was good, it's just not great obviously
I was about to comment the same thing, thought my 2.18.0 was fast

Another superbly detailed guide! Now I just need to figure out how much to fuel save.
Very little fuel adjustment unless you got a big displacement engine like the Aston Martin
@@nordicwarrior9566 yeah, it’s not much, but it’s hard to figure out exactly how much!
Few short shifts on straight and maybe mixture 2 in few corners should be good 👊
I’m finding the BRZ Gt300 requires little to no fuel saving, won a few with this beauty of a car
@@dunkysantana8700 it’s such a sweet handling car. I still need to lift and coast in it in the braking zones, but only for 2 laps.
2:18s now cheers pal🥳
gonna try this in a bit...my current time is 2:19.2 ..stay tuned for updates lol
down to 2:18.7 so far but i messed up a bit at the end and lost 2 tenths

I can't use manual transmission so what can I hope for in terms of time with automatic transmission?
Great guide. Looking forward to putting into practice.
Thanks kie for a great video really helps me so thanks bro see u on the stream 😎

@@thekie25 make sense, gona try that and let you know how it went 🤙🏽
Nice Track Guide Kie. 👌🏻
Thanks! 👍
Is there any difference between steering wheel vs controller?
Tanks Kie
Very nice lap as usual, definitely can help me in some places but can only do so much with a PS5 controller lol
Great video. Will definitely helps me
Any tips for controller users, I can’t keep flat out in the dip and it show’s on my qualifying time and in the race as the others out pace me
On thing I know is make sure sensitivity is maximum 👍 I know all top drivers run it max

@@FurBurger151 ok cool thank you. I’ll try it. Out of interest as a controller player what lap times are you achieving in qualifying

I got a tip, get a wheel, so much more immersive.
Other than that, best thing you can do is stick to the racing line and hit your apexes.
So this guide is not for controller users? I'm finding it rather impossible to get through that 2nd turn flat out without going straight into the wall..
Unpopular opinion: I don't understand the point of guides if we can just see the replay of the leaderboard 🥴
You talk as fast as you drive. Thanks anyway.
I just try get as much info in as possible, most people seem to be able to take it in 🤣 hopefully it can still help you 👍
