Extremely inspirational! I've been hovering between 35-45% winrate vs zerg for a while. This seems to have flipped the tables entirely.
So far I have only lost once (~3250 MMR, NA Servers - Dia3 ) when opening with the 3 viking, 1 medivac variation that was suggested toward the end.
I've been favoring 1 viking, 1 medivac first because I don't usually have the minerals for 2 vikings right away and it gets more energy on the medivac (I've found it usually runs completely out healing the hellbats, also useful to juggle the hellbats or vikings - tho my micro isn't enough to do that effectively). Use the first viking to pick off any scouting overlords while the armory is under construction, then move out once the 2nd and 3rd viking pop out. Still tinkering with the exact number of workers to have on gas at any time - tryingnot to cut any SCVs but I think I'm missing a few when I'm just mineral poor or supply blocked (if only for a few seconds).
Been experimenting with poking with 4 or 6 hellions earlier - staying conservative - just skirting the creep and to find a few lings / tumors / drone transfers. It seems to force ling production from macro-oriented zergs, and then they just lose when the main push arrives at their 3rd (because they have 20 lings and no roaches or banes).

Darn nice build! I usually make Viking than Liberator but that makes my Hellion harass much much weaker (because of timing) and hellions are more to clear creep a bit and distract zerg attention from liberator that is supposed to do real damage.

Hey UwUThermal, would you consider to upload the replays you talk about on yt on sc2replaystats or a other side where we could download them? :D Because for beginner Terran-brothers like myself i think it would be way easiert to learn how to play these builds when we would be able to see the replay, watch when exactly which buildings is build and make a BO out of that. Of course you can do it to in some way if you keep your eyes always on the production tab, but its way easier when you can pause the replay at any given time and purely focus on when you build which buildings and were you place them :)
I'll try to remember to upload them in a bit after my stream in the description :P

One more tips to deflect muta harass, if you manually target fire on the mutas, the vikings can hit further and harder. Even marines benefit from manual target fire.
The reactor on the Starport is cool.

Hi Marc, Just wondering about a couple of things. First, what would you do with the 4 Viking variation if you see they have Roaches? Could you theoretically still get a good trade as you did in the v Serral game vs Ling Bane Queen? Or would the Roach health / armour result in a poor trade? if so, should you try to do something else with your units? maybe try to go for snipes on overlords with the Vikings and runby's with the hellions? If you'd go for that approach, how would you cope with losing your map control once the Hellions are gone? Maybe some Marine Tank for defense then back into macro and delaying Stim since you're using the Tech Lab on the Factory and Reactor on the first Barracks? If you don't go for that harass trade rather than the big fight, what else would you do vs Roaches? Last question... I always mech. So what would be the best way to transition given you have two reactors? Perhaps Battlemech? Add two factories and go for Hellion Mine Cyclone? The reason I suggest it is you already have the Armoury and thus invisible mines.... Sorry for the 1000 questions!

If they go roaches itd be very tough, maybe try landing the vikings in the main and doing a runby with the hellions ( unless they roach allin then you just defend )

Was rewatching to get the build order and I just got what you were saying bout the spire, 😂💔
Actually tried it today. 2 of 3 times was able to kill zerg’s third and a lot of drones and cool thing that you transition to marines/tanks behind it and are safe from counter-attack pretty much. The only one time player was roach all-inning me from 2 bases, I became a little over confident of how fast hellbats and Vikings kill roaches and he overwhelmed me :(

I feel like this build will work TvP considering that vikings have bonus vs mechanical(stalkers) and hellbats vs zealots.
In first wariation i wonder if it would be good idea to produce another two libs before lifting up starport? In second one instead of one viking make one lib to zone out queens or harras main?
Producing another 2 libs is 300/300 aka no followup at all, in the second version missing some frontal pushing power while doing an allin is probably not a good idea

Wondering what you think about the new patch notes. Changes to banelings and the triple buffing of void rays. While i'm not really sure what the void ray buffs will do, On the Baneling changes I think its a buff for Mech terran. As now it will take more banelings to tear down our mechs.
The baneling change is nice, not so sure about the protoss changes though. Kind of afraid ladder terrans will just get voidray cheesed all the time xD

So what it feels like you can do from this push, and I'm curious about your thoughts, is after the vikings, get a 3rd and 4th gas, get a battlecruiser, and hit with stim marines BCs, and hellbats (because you keep pumping hellions from the factory) and have the opening still look the same. Am I crazy, or would this be ineffective?

The BCs would be a lot later than the push in the video if you build the gasses, fusion core and tech lab after the vikings..
@@nept123 That's what I was saying. As a follow up, you would have a triple prong (or all one giant push) of marines, hellbats, and a BC. Not sure if it would work or not, but seems like it would be effective if it was tried. Dunno exactly how to do it. I can try it and get back to you on that.
@@aaronkuhlman1392 I'm just saying it would be quite slow so the zerg will probably have time to redrone and still get units out in time.. Advantage of uthermals bio follow-up is that the pressure is on and you force units constantly

Yah. If you can scout that though you just switch the factory to a tech lab earlier and build a lib to counter across the map.

Well at least on my potato MMR, I'd probably attack anyway and probably the zerg will opt to build roaches rather than banes as a defense :O

@uThermal Hey yea Im facing the same problem with roach rushes, Im thinking perhaps swapping the factory out immediately for a tech lab if i scout a roach warren but if i dont scout it i dont see a way of defending the roach all-in, I tried experimenting it against the cheater 2 blizzard ai, setting it to roach all-in without changing the build (keeping the hellions) and I got crushed even with scvs helping me, could you perhaps have a video on it please? Much appreciated.

@Nightwish! Not completely true. @anthony You can also pick up any build you'd like, BUT PRACTICE IT until you execute it well.
This will help you map out the early game and expend your resources. You will win games just by having more stuff out in time.
That's how I went about. And once I got the grasp of the basics, I started to learn more strategies, builds, and the reasons for the meta.
@Anthony Lovato Improving from silver really is just building the macro cycle habits and constantly producing units. As for builds, you can either try and copy some of uthermal builds (which are quite hard to execute if you're new) or you can pick up a beginner build. I used PiG's beginner builds that got me all the way to diamond in 2 months and all i was building were marine medivac n tanks, but when you play those every game you get really good at using those units and you'll improve.

Its a big delay since its fast mutas, you might have 5 or 10 marines more and turrets actually up. They also need to use more larva instead of getting drones or anything, maybe they wont even have larva available
