Eventually this line will serve the new bears stadium in Arlington park. I live in crystal lake so a 25 minute train ride is so much better than having to go to soldier field. I wonder how the new stadium will effect the rail line
Many Mahalos I am now modeling this train line (because I took it every day to work for over a year. This is a modelers dream a complete round trip showing what in near the track in reasonable detail to see how the railroad actually sets it up. with some sound bites just for good measure to capture for station and train noises. I took a break and looked for a way to support you other than just a subscription. The two hours of this video just saved me 10 hours of research. I hope you don't mind that I will be taking screen shots and sound bites.
Too bad the flat wheel on the end car distracted somewhat from an otherwise familiar ride.

Great realistic video, nice camera work! Makes the viewer feel he/she is on that train. Lots of audio from the flat wheel!
Very good

Good video but I kind of wish the camera was in the front cabin of the train going back to Harvard..And yes that wheel is nerve wracking but not as bad as that loud child going into Chicago..😂
Because the engine is on the front of the train in this direction you cannot get a track view going west. The east facing (towards Chicago) end of these trains have a remote cab for the driver on the second level on the end. this is so the engine does not park next to the doors in the terminal and they do not need to move the engine to the other end of the train cars twice for every trip.
