Thank you very much for sharing your creativity! Really enjoy the rustic/crate version and the last one really got my attention! Great job and thanks again!
Awe...thanks, Joanne. I actually am an artist. I paint murals for a living. Check out my Facebook page if you'd like to see more. facebook.com/krakenartstudios
Love the video! Some very simple, themed projects that help in getting rid of scrap or unwanted material hanging around the shop. One note, on the final glue up of your last pumpkin after the pieces were cut out on the bandsaw, it would have been easier if you had kept the cutoffs for the outer pieces so you could put them into the clamps and have two square ends.
On the last pumpkin I wonder if making the outside pieces in one cut and then keeping those for clamping cauls would be of any assistance? Just a thought. I liked them all. Keep up the good work.
I love the last one. I want to experiment with a "V" bit in a router to define the sections of the pumpkin and avoid cutting it out and gluing back together. I'll try to paint it, cut out the outline, route outline, route the sections, then destress the paint. I'll reply how it goes.
I'm a new subscriber to your channel. Just found you a few minutes ago. I work primarily with reclaimed lumber from crates and pallets. It's doing a bit of raining as of late, so I've been busy on nail and screw duty. Getting ready to fire up for the holiday seasons this year.
Awesome, thanks for the Subscribe Scott! Sounds like a good use of a rainy day or two. I really do get some satisfaction making things out of reclaimed lumber, especially if I make a buck or two from them. Good luck with the upcoming Holiday Season!
I’m just starting to put the finishing touches on the pumpkins we made from scraps. They look way better then store bought and only had to buy spray paint.
You have a great personality, you’d make a terrific neighbor! I love wood and woodworking, the more rustic the better, and your pumpkins were all wonderful, especially the last one. I can’t draw to save my life, so as an artist, can I ask what type of paint you use and how do you clean your brushes? I’ve thrown so many away that don’t clean up well. Acrylics not so bad, but glue, varnish, not so good. Also, I love that glue container. Where did you get it? I suppose you buy glue in bulk, hence being able to refill the container. I’m going to check out your other videos.
I have to say… I like the white one the best!
Me too! That one stays out all year round. Thanks!
Problem is, none actually look like pumpkins 😞
Well...they look more like pumpkins than bananas. Lol!😆
Thank you very much for sharing your creativity! Really enjoy the rustic/crate version and the last one really got my attention! Great job and thanks again!
You are very welcome! Glad you liked them!
These are awesome! Thank you so much for sharing!!

Nice, thank you! Good luck with them.🙂
I loved all the pumpkins, but the last one was truly a work of art!
That's my favorite! I appreciate your wonderful, positive comment. Thank you!
Totally agree!!!🧡🤍🧡
Thanks, Karen!😊
That was my favorite as well. Great job on all of them.
Nice job!
Thank you!
Thank you Mr. Bearded for the great Pumpkins.
You're welcome. Thanks for the comment! 👍
I love all your pumpkins. You've very talented. I'm glad your video popped up. It is giving me some inspiration to get my scraps out to make pumpkins.
That's exactly what I love to hear! Thank you! Good luck with them.
the routing to show depth was amazing
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Loved all of them! Now i have to get my husband busy! Lol
Ha ha ha....crack that whip!😂
First and last - love them. The 4x4’s leave room for artistic tweaks, and the stacked ones as well. All worthy projects.
Thank you so much! I agree. The 4x4 ones totally have so much potential for anyone's artistic flare! And so simple. 🙂
All pumpkins are very nice and rustic. My favorite is the white one!
Thank you, mine too!
18:39 Whoops! Keep those square offcuts to make it easier to glue up you finished cury parts.
Yeah, that's a great idea. I have a Christmas tree video that's the same process, and I saved and used the fall offs on that one. 😊
Great job and projects thx for sharing
Love these pumpkins!
Thank you so much!
Love them all but that white one is just amazing 👊🏼
White one is my favorite but they are all great pumpkins. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much. The white one is also my favorite. It's out year-round. 🙂
Great job! ❤

Thank you so much! The white one is my favorite too. We keep that one up year round.
Those are all really neat, Gary. My favorite is also the white one. I saw one of your murals in one of Jason's videos. It was great too.
Bill
Hey thanks, Bill! It was pretty surprising to see he threw that logging mural into his video!
Pretty cool design. Your awesome Santa!!

That is a brilliant idea! Definitely one I will implement next time I make one of those pumpkins! Thanks for the tip!
On the last pumpkin I wonder if making the outside pieces in one cut and then keeping those for clamping cauls would be of any assistance? Just a thought. I liked them all. Keep up the good work.
You aren't wrong! I had another viewer say the same thing, and I but it to use when I made a Christmas tree in the same fashion. Thanks!
I thought you were going to take an angle grinder with a carving disk to the last one. I like your idea better!
Hmmm...you might be on to something there. 🤔 Ha, thanks!
YES.! BEARD POWER.!!! The only human power greater than belly-power. I have both.😎
Ha ha ha....as you can see, I also have both!
I love the last one. I want to experiment with a "V" bit in a router to define the sections of the pumpkin and avoid cutting it out and gluing back together. I'll try to paint it, cut out the outline, route outline, route the sections, then destress the paint. I'll reply how it goes.
That would be cool if it works out for you. Definitely let me know how it goes. Good luck!
I'm new to your channel. I love all your pumpkins. Can't wait to see what you make next.
Thank you, and welcome! I gotta get crackin' ! 😁

Well...welcome! Thank you so much for the subscription!
Nice job! Like how easy you made these look. May have to give it a try myself
Thank you. Most of these are pretty easy...especially the 4x4 ones, but they look pretty cool.
I’m just starting to put the finishing touches on the pumpkins we made from scraps. They look way better then store bought and only had to buy spray paint.
That's so awesome! Getting rid of scraps AND not buying from a store is a win-win! Good job!
very good job, and i won't send you home, lol
Awe....thank you!
I really enjoyed your video and just subscribed!!

If you want it to dry fast, add a little xylene, very little.
Awesome. Thanks for the tip!
Hope you dont mind if i make a few.
What kinda lamps are you using? The hand turned?
What show were you on? Btw, I enjoyed this video. You got a new subscriber!
Thank you! Appreciate the subscribe! I was on NBC'S "Making It", with Nick Offerman and Amy Poehler.

Would love a template for the last one
I will not be eating Pumpkin pie at your house.
Ha ha ha....that's funny! Although I do make a pretty good (real) pumpkin pie!
Bring your spare set of teeth! 😂😂
