While listening/watching (on a home computer), I managed to make lunch, eat, AND clean my kitchen (including hand washing dishes) because I didn't do it after breakfast! Thanks for being my Cleaning Cohort, Sanitation Sidekick, and Purgation Pal today! 😁 You rock! 🤘💯

I went through Coffee mugs, blankets, pillows, bed sheets, as well as winter things like snow pants, boots, and jackets.. the most progress I have made since Chemo and Radiation. Joined my local free facebook page in my community for the really nice stuff and it feels good to give the excess stuff. When I gift things I wash them dry them and bag them up like a gift with a thank you for allowing me to rehome some things that no longer serve me and I am happy that it will serve you and your family. After 27 years of marriage & working mostly from home/making dinner every night, I was starting to get a little irritated that hubby rarely ever washed dishes…..about a year ago I started watching frugal/budget/ organizing/cleaning hack type UA-cam channels with my ear pods in & now I literally look forward to washing dishes/cleaning kitchen 👏🏽
I get more things done when I am watching a good show on my iPad (w/ earphones in). That way I’m not so focused on the drudgery of the task (e.g. folding & putting away laundry).
Meal planning and a video on canning. ❤❤ Before chopping onions, wet a paper towel and lay it to the side near the cutting board. The wet towel will be magical.
I have that same water heater. I have had it for years. I use the hot water to make coffee, tea, grits, etc. I always have hot water available. It is fabulous. And I can put on the timer before I go to sleep. It is nice alarm clock too.
I love watching you wash your canning. I can too, and I grew up watching my mom can all our fruit and veggies from our small farm. Good memories. I was canning pears last night and was thinking of my mom and aaaalll the canning she did for us. A labor of love.

Even thouGh I realise we probably don‘t share the same ideas of cooking as I am living in Europe, where we definitely cook and eat differently. I cook every single day. We rarely go out and never have something delivered…
Great motivating video. I eat and cook plant based and so a little different with meal prepping but I have to get my two cents in. Clean up when you don’t cook animal proteins or use oil is BY FAR easier. No scrubbing or soaking needed.
I don't have a garden so I don't have the luxury of canning or freezing. If I know I'm going to be super busy, I buy store-bought frozen meals. It's better than takeout and I get a rest from cooking and cleaning the kitchen.
yes, fresh made gnocchi is always better than store-bought, unless you can find a good one somewhere but yeah usually they dont quite taste right cause they need to make them shelf-stable with some additive
