For those who think this was weird Idk where you people grew up 🤦♂️ In any normal town I’ve ever seen most people know one another and will stop to chat no matter what someone is doing It’s just how people connect in towns And besides dude was literally right next to boat dock
real question tho, do boats actually disturb the fish? i’ve caught many fish on boat docks while the boat is passing by and it never seems to disturb the fish
This is funny, you tube is full of videos with fishermen telling people lakes are public property I can fish wherever I want when I'm on the water now this guy's complaining about someone in his way.
Bruh he was literally going at a snails pace, literally saw no wake smh. As a bank fisherman only thing that makes me mad is when clueless boaters go mach speed through the choke points where its strictly a no wake zone, or when some random jetskier starts doing donuts and whatnot like 50 meters away from where your fishing, or when that random wakeboater feels the need to rip by you like 50 times it grinds my gears hella.
Obviously all the comments are coming from people who don't fish. It's just a respect thing among fisherman. If you see someone fishing a spot, don't Cruz through where they are Obviously casting. Ol boy could have just as easily went to the opposite side of the boat. The worst part about the thing, it was another bass boat! That guy wasn't "just being friendly" I'd say that was during a tournament and that dude knew exactly what he was doing. He just tried to play it off.
@langdontd FINALLY A RAY OF SUNSHINE LOL amongst the ignorance. Yes whole point of video...we had a pleasant interaction. I came away with a good feeling knowing I didn't just let it slide but also I controlled myself. Which in the end is the only thing we cam control.

Middle of channel, next to the boat ramp. Clearly looks like most boaters pull out past the no wake sign and take a right. Unless you wanted him to hug the bank on the far side. But that's rude of you then for fishing such a high traffic area just for you to whine about boats

Well, some people have their favorite spot and it may be a place they go to when they go out there and just because you’re there doesn’t mean they weren’t there before you and maybe they’re wondering why you’re fishing where they like to fish
It amazes me how rude and disrespectful people are on big lakes. The things they do has always blown my mind and my temper. This isn’t a new phenomenon either. I’m 54 yrs old. It’s been this way ever since I can remember as child. We never and I mean never cut people off when they’re working a cove. We never came in hot either. It got to the point I had to quit fishing big lakes because as I got older I got crazier and crazier. I’d fight 6-10 times a year on the side the road. I shake my head in wonder about it. But I was smart enough to recognize If other drivers on the road caused me to do what I did to em over some silly shit while driving then I’d have murder charge if I had to deal with em while fishing. I’m getting mad thinking about what that dude did to ya. I’d had to fight that guy. 😂
He most definitely is straight out from where boats are launching..... he needs to find a new spot to fish and not expect everyone who's launching to immediately go left or right. The entitlement is crazy
I don’t know buddy. I think your way of thinking is root cause of what this video is about really. Bad manors are always justified by telling yourself that exact sort of thing. I bet $10 to a doughnut that guy would cut you off in a cove you’re working and come into hot and shuts down like boats have brakes at the last minute sending out tsunami’s and rocking the entire cove with waves that didn’t have to happen had he came in respectfully of the other fishermen. Fishing is supposed to be about enjoying the sport and honoring each other. Being courteous and respectful to others who love doing the same thing as you do means you go out of your way to keep from being that guy. Some of us don’t get the chance to get out there like some others do. I feel like it’s a blessing to get to do it and we should all act like real men that look out for each other not men who have it out for each other.
How about when they run up and drop in 150 ft in front of you and start fishing the same direction? Happens all the time there's no more common courtesy on the water
