I have those exact same tires on my Pilot and have zero complaints. I have clipped curbs, hit massive potholes, bounced off of large rocks and trees and never had a puncture. They handle sand and snow pretty well. But I haven't had much mud to deal with yet. Those big M/T tires you had are great for off road but won't last long on the highways.
i got 265/70/R16 on mine. I had to install 2inch wheel spacers and remove the mud flaps to keep them from rubbing in full lock turn.
Can you show me how it looks without the mud flap
solid video! I think this conversations most people should be having. lol
Thanks! Only time will tell how durable they are, but at least I have a true full size spare again!
@@GotterAdventure I haved them on the our pilot as well so I'll keep you posted!
Looks good. Was thinking of going this tire size for mine after doing a lift as well.
You can run this size before the lift :)
Looks good. I bet those are a lot quieter than the mud terrains.
plan to buy kenda klevers 245/75 r16 on stock suspension, but with offset. I recognize that there may be some fender cutting, but we will see.
did you get them and did they fit without any cutting?
I know this video is a bit older but do you know with a 3 inch lift if a 255/70/17 rub? Or should 245 be the max with factor struts?
I don't have experience with that size. I stuck with more narrow tires/stance so that I don't rub the rear wheel well.
Great choice! You know my thoughts. 😂
Could I add these tires to a stock wheel and tire size on a 04 pilot? Or would I need a lift?
Yes, they would be great for a stock pilot on stock wheels!
@@GotterAdventure your the man! Thanks for the quick reply! Gonna snag these tires then!
@@robertkenney6002 they have been great so far!
How did you install the front winch? Did you use front bumper guard?
I have a lot of mod videos on my Channel. Here is the hidden hitch receiver mod. ua-cam.com/video/NvpooU40VAs/v-deo.html
So what exactly is your tire size and rim
Nvm saw it when I zoomed in what’s the price on these and where did you get them
You can by the tires and wheels on my Amazon store www.amazon.com/shop/hondapilotoverland
I just had 245/75R16 tires put on my 2005 Pilot. They are load range E. Any recommendations on air pressure for driving on the street?
I want to these to see if they will last more than 30k miles with most being on gravel roads.
That is a good question, maybe stick with 30-35 psi
Thinking of getting an awning and mounting it to my roof basket. How did you attach yours?
My awning came with L brackets that I attached to my roof basket.
What size lift are you running
It is hard to say. Probably 3-3.5” I would check out HRGs 3” lif if you are interested in a lift
Are you still using Smitybilt Roof Rack
Yes that is the rack in this video
What front lift do you have ?
I have flatout lift struts in the front
You think i have fit some 32s but street tires with no lift?
Do you know the size? They will most likely rub.
@GotterAdventure 255/70/18 found a really good deal on new jeep wheels all 5 for 200 brand new tires
@@yooooscar4903how’d it workout for you?
