I appreciate you breaking it down for me! It's the little things that add up to the massive understanding of Davinci Resolve. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us!
Who would possibly dislike such a great tutorial, and why?! Thank you so much for your time and effort on explaining davinci resolve! You do such a great job!
i love your channel. i started youtube about 8 months ago and wanted to take my videos and editing to the next level. so i really appreciate these tutorials explaining everything
btw Casey, just wondering, if you knew anything about importing 3D objects into fusion or compositing 3D mesh from Maya or Blender and rendering through fusion? That way cutting out the time to render stuff out of these 3D software and then having to comp in After effect...
Great video! Funny that you should mention Blender in your video as I was thinking "I wish this guy did Blender tutorials as well" as I finally gave up on Blender thinking the instructional quality of the tutorials makes learning Blender a painful waste of time.
Yep! It's very easy. Click on the node you want to switch off/on, it'll highlight it in red. Then go to the top right corner of the screen to click on Inspector (if the Inspector panel is not already visible). At the top of the Inspector panel, above all the Inspector controls, you'll see the name of the selected node and to the left of that name, there's a little red dot. That red dot is actually an on/off switch for that node. Click it to enable/disable the node. That switch is also present on the Edit tab Inspector for turning effects you've applied to a clip on/off as well. Good luck!
Awesome stuff, thanks! Fusion is extremely intimidating and complex for me, seeing as I have no experience with VFX, but your tutorials really help me figure it out little by little
This is made by the folks at BlackMagic, they make money from the cameras and gave this to everyone else lol, (also since its industry standar making it free makes sure it still the standard and maybe some people will buy more of ther cameras)
As others have stated, I have been very confused by fusion. This video was very helpful. I think I just need to set aside some time and do some exercises. Maybe that could be some future videos for you. Beginner exercises in fusion. Where you take us through a light project start to finish.
Casey again SLooooooooW PLZ. At 4:32 you made a FAST NOISE NODE appear seemingly out of thin air ... HOW? may be a KB short cut ...That's why I hate KB Short cuts If I hit the wrong keys or short cut I'm messed up forever, if I don't see it right away. At least picking an Icon with a mouse I have a chance of seeing a mistake right away. Besides the older I get the worse the memory gets. Thanks for understanding ... now on with the show.
@@Lorbeary then Casey should the KB short cut ... Not every one is as smart as you. Tell ya what there @Lorbeary Te,, me the steps to get a Vizio Sound Bar SB3651-E6 to work with all 6 channels in DaVinci Resolve 16.2.5 I've been screwing with it for 2 weeks all day every day and in never does the same thing twice.

So i might be a lil buzzed right now.. what other languages do you speak? your windows tool bar shows "ENG" i'm assuming that's because you speak something else (keyboard)

Blender guru is the bomb
Thanks. You have been quite a help in my understanding of Fusion. Bless you.
Great video. Is there any way to temporarily disable a node in fusion?

I did not know that DaVinci Resolve could do some of this stuff... wow. And it’s free! Like wha? How could something this great be free?
Ask Blender...

He explains how to create the Fast Noise Node right at 1:09 - maybe that's why he did the one at 4:32 with a shortcut.

Quick question, it may be silly. Is fusion similar to After effects?
Yes
When downloaded, all your videos in this set come up as the same video"Fusion Nodes 101" and not individual titled videos.
So i might be a lil buzzed right now.. what other languages do you speak? your windows tool bar shows "ENG" i'm assuming that's because you speak something else (keyboard)
... although each was downloaded individually.
wow , no views. I am first . yay ...
You really have to go more in-depth with channel booleans.
