      Salute from Siberia, Bro. I am pleased to watch your video reviews, I have a question for you, what do you do with the old parts that you shoot from cars? I have an old Toyota 4runner 1990 release, if you do not need these parts, you could not send them to me? I would be very grateful to you, as with us, these shock absorbers and springs are very expensive, and I do not have the opportunity to buy them ... Thank you

    I noticed you had falken wildpeaks on the vehicle when you lowered it to the ground but at the end of the video they were bfg ko2"s. Was there a problem with the falkens that made you switch?

    Any reason why everyone opts for the ome/bilstein combo, rather than just getting the full ome setup?

    • @88ROTORS

      Price point and quality of Bilstein is 👍🏻

    • @DelTalkoh
      @DelTalkoh 5 років тому

      Bilstein has a little bit smoother ride than the ome shocks. This lift had kinda become the go to cheap but quality lift for 4runners.

    SCS WHEEL ALL DAY! That 4runner came out clean. Hoping to pick up a 2020 if Toyota adds Apple car play.

    • @SNKFA
      @SNKFA 5 років тому +1

      Don't let that stop you. There are good after market options to achieve Apple Car Play. I hope you aren't thinking about a TRD Pro. If so you will be disappointed by the lack of tech bells and whistles. The Tacoma gives better options. Toyota is wierd. They probably will only slightly update the headlights and tail lights for 2020.

    • @yotaman492
      @yotaman492 4 роки тому

      @@SNKFA Difference is that the Tacoma is built in NA while the 4Runner is built in Japan. Weird

    • @SNKFA
      @SNKFA 4 роки тому

      Greg Baker you would think the Japanese built would offer the most tech. I went with the Limited to get more tech. I’ll likely will X the XREAS and add the Fox soon. Just got that airbag recall at Longo Toyota and they said shocks leaking. So I’ll lift it, X the 20’s for 17”’s and delete the chrome with a wrap. That will be my TRD alternative. I owned an FJ60 and FJ62, so I know how to off-road without out all the fancy assistance that the TRD offers. I’m happy with my tech bells and whistles.

    • @yotaman492
      @yotaman492 4 роки тому

      @@SNKFA its my understanding that the vehicles built in Japan put build quality before the bells n whistles. But the 4Runner does need to step its game up.
      I'll still take reliability & value over anything else.

    Is a "body chop" the only way to fit 33" tires with no rubbing on the 5th gen 4runner? How do you deal with the dreaded "lean" when lifting the 4runners with KDSS?

    • @88ROTORS
      @88ROTORS  5 років тому +1

      No chop needed if proper wheel specs are used. SCS makes them slightly more aggressive which requires a chop to properly clear as we had to here.. The lean is minimal to none, almost all Toyota trucks have a natural lean, nothing new.

      As far as Radflo, I've talked to several shops & heard great things about both Radflo & Icon. I chose Radflo b/c its individually owned & the service is top notch, while Icon is part of a big corporation. Also Radflo has a better price point.
      I've talked to: Apex Overland, MetalTech 4x4, Nitro Gear, Method Wheels & East Coast Gear Supply while researching my build.
      I went with Apex for suspension & skid plate, getting regearrd diffs from ECGS & wheels/tires from local Discount Tire(close to home & 0% financing). Hope this helps
