We do not know both versions of the story, for example it is not entirely clear why Lucifer fell from heaven. Not God's intervention or if he even exists in this world.

Apart from personal taste, I think one big issue is the fact that the show easily attracts younger audiences. The animations and the songs that make it feel almost like you’re watching a disney movie make Hazbin Hotel appealing to children, but on the other hand there is graphic violence to at least some extent and jokes about adult topics (I don’t think I have to explain this at all) . There have already been scandals because many parents don’t even care what their children are watching on streaming services, and some children who are only 4 years old are watching shows like Squid Game. You can’t really tell Hazbin Hotel apart from any children’s show at first sight. So personally, I think it wouldn’t be an issue if it was a broadway musical, but in this form it’s just too easily accessible for young children who should not be confronted with this type of media.
My grandpa decided this is an amazing moment to mow the grass right outside my window at almost 8pm. 🥲I love the series on prime, and episode two is my favorite.
