Loại băng dính giấy dán cho pin trong video còn k cả dẻo dai bằng lớp seal đã bóc ra trước đó và nó k có chức năng cách nhiệt hay ủ nhiệt, vẫn dẫn nhiệt bình thường. Còn về phần nhiệt độ thì phần lớn luồng khí nóng sẽ được 2 quạt của máy đẩy lên phía trên thoát ra ở 2 khe tản nhiệt chứ k phải lan hết ra thiết bị nên nó k ảnh hưởng tới pin
Great video. I ordered the battery. Can't really tell but it looks like you soldered all the red together & black together. So you're left with 4 or 5 wires? And can't you just cut the original Ally wires and just connect it to these wire? It would be easier that way.
@@cletp758 yes you can solder the black and red wires into one single wire because they are all the same polarity and connected to each other. you can also cut the wires and extend them without removing the pcb like my first video posted you can watch it but i feel removing the wires from the pcb then extending them is easier and neater
I did it. Yaay. I did it the exact way in this video. I would say the hardest part might be soldering the wires back to the board. The connections are very close. So #Tip1 to be safer you could leave it and just cut the wires from the middle then extend. It's easier to solder wire to wire. Your choice. #Tip2 if you choose to solder to the board then after you check it works Put some hot glue on the wires to keep them in place because it can move when twisting the connection in place. Anyways I'm happy with this, I spent a lot on my ally, cases, screen protector, skin, etc. And dint want to sell for around $300. I'm glad I didn't because my ally look sick and I love it. good luck everyone. Thanks @trieusw
Oh I forgot to mention. It didn't wake from hibernation without plug-in in the charger. I'm not talking about the first boot. Afterwards... So You should go into Amory crate & remove hibernation. The regular sleep function in windows works fine, I've had no issues with it. OK good luck guys...
do you think soldering an extended cable for all the batterys is the best option? So that the board can site sideways to save space and keep it away from the heat sink?

Or did you measure how hot they get? that's my only concern about doing this coz it looks like ASUS made original battery such weird shape and small capacity and wrapped in foil to avoid the ram heat. Looks really good tho bro, would like to hear your opinion thnx

@@TrieuUA-cam FYI for anyone wondering, the C41N2013 will NOT fit, as cells are on top of each other, not side by side, so cell is too wide! Alixpress have "3.85V 7100mah Autel Robotics EVO II/2/ Pro/ Drone Battery" which would need voltage matched and soldered to BMS board and old cells removed so as to not lock BMS. But 4 of these would fit in chassis but are too thick at 11mm, so 2 on top would be 22mm which is too thick. Could modify back cover only slightly to fit them but is more work. BUT 15.4*7100= 110Wh which would be amazing. But I think your 72Wh mod is the best one though I have seen as it's so easy and stock everything so I think will just go with the C41N1825 Thank you for your video!

@@astven94 If you mod on the original ally battery pcb, you need to have a tool to reset when changing the battery cells. Changing other cells is quite dangerous

I have the same mod and battery lasts maximum 2h with optimisations (CPU boost disable, 900p reesolution, low details in games, closed apps in background custom curve of fans 18W power etc.) at 120Hz with most AAA games. So, no way over 2h :)
@ I have tested it, maybe your battery is faulty. And there have been many people who have responded after modding the battery to 72wh that they play most 3a games from 2h30 to 3h or more

@@CarMake It does not affect the battery and the gap from the mainboard to the battery's pcb circuit is a few mm so you don't need to worry
