Easily one of the most intense boss themes ever composed. It really fits for what is, quite literally, a battle against a god. Now, to those who are calling Doom easy, yes. The first Fantastic Four fight was WAY too hard. Like, not even a "Doom should've been this hard" kind of thing where they just outshine the final boss. Fighting those guys was straight up unfair, if only because the game's AI can coordinate a team of four so much more efficiently than the player. HOWEVER, the only thing that made Doom himself easy was the ability to heal infinitely by killing his minions. In pretty much every other way, Doom was a TANK. He doesn't flinch from any of your attacks, while his own attacks hit you like a squanching train. Unless you grief him with a cheap tactic like hit-and-run or camping (which can be quite thrilling against the Fantastic Four, btw), fighting Doom is a bitch and a half. Setting the game to hard really puts this in perspective.
If you did the objective for hank pym then doom cant use lightning attacks and yes the battle is easy but thats the whole game just easy the thing i wished for the most in the end of the game was a harder difficulty
@@bismuth7398 yeah it can get hard to play but people look at the game where its something that they see as no need to put in effort or a strategy. If you create a fighting tactic or something rather than just spamming powers and melees it gets really easy plus blocking gives 100% damage reduction which is unrealistic and OP making the game as i said really damn easy. Just equip deathbirds feather and you get plus 5 health regen then when you block you cant get hurt and you get your health back or just parry around the area where the boss battle goes on and heal.
But honestly after the first time playing through the experience is kind of over and the game gets easier, but it's still always fun to have a MUA a-thon every new year's with my brother and dad
I hate that today we don't get awesome marvel games like this one, this is my favorite marvel game i hype that The telltale game that is coming out in 2017 is as good as this one
i think this track is for like the most serious boss fights for the game because dr.doom,loki, mandarin,galactus, and mephisto are no pushovers. they are serious bosses and no joke and they are dangerous.

Sry but the game is easy but most people dont have strategy thats why they lose (to me the hardest battle was Loki in hard because his lightning attack kills you in 3-4 hits)
To be honest, I thought the battle against the Fantastic Four was much harder than fighting Doom. Doom was pretty nerfed in comparison to how everything was leading up to him. I mean he was supposed to bring the very wrath of an angry god from bending the Earth to his will, taking over the minds of the fallen heroes, having an entire army of Iron Men, ruling over powerful villains like M.O.D.O.K., Grey Gargoyle, Jean Grey's Dark Phoenix, Loki, Ymir, Ultron, Blackheart, Mephisto, and all of that nonsense but in the end he just kinda sat back and got a little too cocky lol Still one of the best battles in the game. Loved this game altogether.
agreed, i already faced Doom yesterday..in hard and in the second round when he flies up..he's like non stop lighting u up, and in the end, the thing i loved about him is that when u hit him he moves quickly backward..i actually cant say anything about it, he's honestly the best villain in the whole Marvel Universe. with Mephisto and Galactus.

I really love this theme, it's EXTREMELY fitting for this games Doom. It gives off a regal, but ominious, menacing tone and a being unfilled of emotion and humanity. I also love the chaotic nature of the background. You can hear choppers, explosions, people running in the background and screaming. This is not just fitting for any other media of Doom(as he always lay chaos in his plans) but fitting in this version, due to how his newly founded godlike power nearly DESTROYED the universe from him turning it into his own image. What goes on in Viktor Von Doom's head? Is it chaos or peace, but only when the world is under his heel? Makes someone think I suppose.
@arsenal4739 Excellent job either way and I love how his MUA themes progress from creepy, ominous and Intimidating to being more complicated and even a false sense of heroic granduer. He has the truest villain traits out of any Marvel antagonists - even to where other villains piss and shit their costumes just hearing his name. No one is more frightening and beholden than someone who finds justification in their villainy to be seen as a necessary force.
Every time this plays at the end of each act you're like "oh boy bring it on" that's why I loved getting to the end of each act 11 years later this game still rocks in terms of content, ost, voice acting etc

The aura of every final act fight was intimidating, terrifying, and exciting. It felt like the atmosphere was truly real, and this fight would determine the fate of the world. And Doom's presence in the last fight was equally as scary.
I remember that hitting getting close to Dr. Doom is very hard. A weak attack will send him pinballing across the room making you have to chase him all over again.

I remember when I made it to the final Boss, using the default team given at the beginning (Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, and Wolverine). It was a tough fight and I only had Wolverine left, but I managed to pull through and defeat Doom.
Why is it that I have trouble on this boss on hard(I legit grinded my team to rank 99 just to finally pass it cuz you take so much from just one and when 2 of the dark fantastic members hit u at once it takes away a good chunk) My setup: mostly auto health regen characters Blade(for his auto health regen skin variant) Wolverine(auto health regen) Iron man(I think he has a skin variant with the health regen I cant remember) Deadpool(auto health regen)

@@TheN7Spartan I had a hard time beating the dark fantastic 4 alone at the beginning of the fight, even on easy difficulty. I was pretty good at the game and got most of the characters upgraded until that moment. XD Not only does it feel like the F4 Clones have more health than any other boss enemy, including Doom, but they did insane damage to my group of heroes. It took FOREVER to get past them just to fight Doom for me lol Then again, I didn't pick the best heroes for the battle anyway. Idk what good combinations work at that stage.
I have so much wonderful nostalgia for this excellent journey through the Marvel Universe and then Activision had to mess it all up with the trash heap referred to as MUA 2! Square Enix better not mess up the upcoming spiritual successor (The Avengers Project)!

Funniest thing of this fight is when you can easily defeat those copies of Fantastic Four and make them fly away with 2-3 hits

The Universal Gaming if you were lucky to grab it before Activision lost the rights and removed it. I bought the bundle code off Amazon in May. Got lucky there.

I loved this game but the final battle against Doom was a little disappointing. It all seemed a little too easy compared to the rest.

It's because you had the muonic inducer and m'kraan crystal to take his powers. Otherwise beating him would be impossible
@@TheN7Spartan I had a hard time beating the dark fantastic 4 alone at the beginning of the fight, even on easy difficulty. I was pretty good at the game and got most of the characters upgraded until that moment. XD Not only does it feel like the F4 Clones have more health than any other boss enemy, including Doom, but they did insane damage to my group of heroes. It took FOREVER to get past them just to fight Doom for me lol
Then again, I didn't pick the best heroes for the battle anyway. Idk what good combinations work at that stage.

I have so much wonderful nostalgia for this excellent journey through the Marvel Universe and then Activision had to mess it all up with the trash heap referred to as MUA 2! Square Enix better not mess up the upcoming spiritual successor (The Avengers Project)!
