Burrito info!! If you dont have a panini press (which looks good but is for sure weird) then heat the tortilla up BEFOREHAND. Slap it on a cast iron skillet if you have one, of not, just heat it in a pan. Load your burrito stuff into it after its warm. That's how its done
Banana pancakes: 1 ripe banana smashed, 2 whole eggs, 1/4 cup oats and 1/2 tsp baking powder or any thickener. You can add cinnamon or berries, etc, to taste. Definitely satisfies the sweet breakfast craving.

@Lilia Carolina Here a Oatmeal recipe that is made in under 5 minutes that contains over 70 g of Protein 1/2 ripe Banana 250 g of Oatmeal, 30 g of chocolate Whey Protein, 250 ml of Oatmilk, and a Handful of mixed nuts, Let that sit for 30 minutes done. I eat that EVERY day since 1 year. And that give me Energy for 70 minutes in the Gym.
Awesome recipes! I have an easy one for you and it tastes very good. Rice, Tuna and eggs. Cook the tuna in a pan, add lemon, salt and pepper. Add approximately the same amount of rice proportionate to the tuna and mix. Add 2 whole mixed eggs a little more salt and pepper. Then mix and let it cook. You can add Salsa macha which is spicy chile flakes in vegetable oil to add flavor. I like it because it gives plenty of nutrients and you can have it with a side of greens. Cheers!
i’m a teacher and always on the go, i would love quick and grab-n-go high protein and healthy snacks or meals that are not super processed!!!! help meg
lost 45lbs eating pretty much chilli for a few months :P now i make the best chilli. tricking yourself into eating vegetables really is the key. though i would say chilli is better if you boil off most of the moisture, just to the point where you could eat it with a fork, then its perfect.
I add a few varieties of chilis and use the canned whole tomatoes. After simmering in the pot, pressure cooker or crock pot, they break down nicely. A little beer in with the protein also brings dinner flavor to the party. I quit using tomato paste and sauce and tend to get a richer flavor, just drain the tomatoes first, so you don't have the dreaded can flavor!
I have been on your channel since I believe 2014, and you ALWAYS make my mood to go through the roof !!!!Thank you Meg for what you are doing I appreciate you and your energy so much , it is almost vital for me !!!Lots of love
Favorite food is salsa chicken. Cook chicken in the crock pot with a jar of herdez hot salsa, cumin, and chili powder. When it's done shred it up. Serve it as a burrito, tacos, wrap, taco salad, or burrito bowl. My new favorite is the trader Joe's cilantro jalapeno hummus. I smear some on a tortilla, add the salsa chicken, some spinach. Roll it up and it's a delicious meal.
For a cut I do super simple meals, it really is the best route to go. That way you don’t feel so overwhelmed! I relate to scrolling through Pinterest and seeing all these boujie recipes! Haha great video meg! 👌🏻
I love me some easy recipes. Zoodles with ground turkey and marinara is a go to for me. Except making the zoodles can be a pain. Or I'll do spaghetti squash. Or just like a cauliflower rice Mexican dish. You can do with meat or just beans. I buy the cauliflower rice you can just steam
Hi meg You could try making your tortilla out of egg whites and oats if you want to cut down on carbs. 100g egg whites 20g oats blenderized so it is like flour Salt and pepper Add it in a bowl and mix it together Fry it on both sides like a pancake Add whatever ingredients you want on top. Wrap it and eat. I have this at breakfast my filling is 2 eggs, 2 turkey bacon cheese salsa and guacamole. Tastes great and it’s very high protein and low carb.
You used fajita as a verb and that’s when I subscribed honeyyyyy😂😂 actually love these recipes so excited for my summer food and fitness plan once I’m done with all my finals
yo meg, my all time favorite recipe is taco salads! I just cook up some ground turkey or WHATEVER, add black beans for extra protein, then I add peppers and onions to the meat too if I have it. Season with taco seasoning. I usually eat mine on a bed of leafy greens but it's highly customizable. You can make a taco bowl by adding rice, then top with avocado, shredded cheese, salsa, ETC!!
Meal prep for me: Eh it's got vegetables and protein I'm good. Add some salt in there call it good. Cooking for any guest: Time to look up the hardest recipe online. It will be a goddamn experience!
My husband makes chicken kilaguen. It’s Simply just bbq’d chicken thighs that could be preseasoned with salt and minimal pepper. After cooking it he’ll chop it up add in diced onions, green onions, lemon juice, salt, garlic powder and any kind of ground up red peppers. Best with booney peppers but we can’t always find it. Eat with rice.
My go to salad: pre-cooked prawns (they’re usually frozen)+ any green leaves, tomato, a pepper for colour and crunch, drizzle of olive oil and lemon juice. My usual meals are a berry protein smoothie, beef chilli, and baked salmon/trout. If I can’t be arsed with a smoothie, I’ll have for breakfast: boiled/fried egg, avocado, and smoked salmon or any cold meat.
My go to Protein recipe(s) are the same three ingredients cooked different ways. I love protein pancakes/waffles, but they always have a terrible texture in my opinion with egg in them. So I played around with it and finally found some that I love. I'll cook this as a waffle, in a mini bundt cake pan, muffin pan, or as a pancake. 1 scoop protein (I use Blueberry Cheesecake) 2 TBS Self Rising Flour 1/4 tsp baking powder Mic dry ingredients first and then just enough water to make a thick batter. Cook in a waffle iron or different kinds or baking pan in the oven at 350 until done all the way. Boom. The best protein baked goodie ever!🖤
Oh my lord I will be giving that bulgogi beef and kimchi a go - I reckon it would be so good with a bit of kewpie mayo too! Thanks Meg, such good recipes!
My easy recipe: cut up sweet potato, cauliflower and any other veggie you like (sweet peppers or broccoli, dealers choice) and chicken sausage, add olive oil and whatever spice mix you like (I use a general one from Trader Joes), into one big dish and roast for about 45 minutes on 425, stirring halfway through. Add avocado if you need to add fats, or extra sausage for more protein, or add that fried egg on top of this too :)
I kid you not, I could not live without my chili. I just made it last night! I make it every Thursday and there is enough leftover for Friday. It’s so filling and absolutely delicious! It’s a staple in my house.
Definitely going to try the chili, everything else is a pretty much a staple recipe for me too 🤣 you should try overnight oats! I put in rolled oats, a bit of almond milk to soak up, and then put Greek yogurt mixed with SF Vanilla or Cheesecake pudding mix. On top of that I throw on almond butter and frozen fruit. That's it! Super easy and tastes bomb 👍
Awesome channel what fruits do you use for your smoothie and what quantities? Also the Greek yoghurt how many ml/ gms. I also do smoothies but add 3 handfull of baby spinach. Just intetested in what fruits you use
Super helpful, thank you! Question: how do you calculate the macros for something like a bowl of chili? That’s what always throws my tracking off- I cook a lot at home, which is healthy, but I think also an easy way to not get macros correct.
Thanks! I'm gonna give these a try. You also talked me into buying fabletics and a waffle iron for protein waffles. Meg Squats over here spendin all mah money. Lol. It's so worth it though.
Love this! I'm going to try the bulgogi beef tomorrow, I think. One super easy meal eat multiple times a week is egg whites and flavored tuna over lettuce. You could add rice for some carbs, but i usually just have som fruit on the side. I know this sounds weird, but seriously, if you like tuna, give this a try.
Love all these recipes!! I had chili for my dinner tonight and it was so yummy. The sauce wasn’t the healthiest to be honest but everything else was healthy :) Thanks for the video
Meg!!!! Thank you so much for this video- I needed some new food ideas :') Side note: I have been on the quesadilla/burrito train for like 2 weeks now & I'm hooked, you gave me some new ideas of toppings to add in :)
Have you tried quesadillas with broccoli slaw, mushrooms, and spinich? You can also add some of that chicken you make.... Thank you for this video love ya girl your the best!
Any veggies that you'd steam can be microwaved! I steam stuff in the microwave by setting a small glass of water in a big ceramic bowl, then adding the veggies around the glass, and putting a plate on top. Then just nuke it for 3-5mins, season to taste, and they're ready to eat.
I like the recipe ideas. Here is a recipe I love and easy. 2 pieces of Ezekiel bread toasted, 1-2 slices of turkey bacon cooked, 1 egg over easy or medium, wholly guacamole 1/2 mini container and arugula and splash of hot sauce. It makes a really delicious sandwich. Came from 4 x 4 diet book.
Love the cookin with meg experience! Just wanted to suggest Budget Byte has amazing oven fajitas that are a lot easier to make than the recipe looks. I could eat it all day urryday and its awesome for leftovers. Also skinnytaste has bomb baking sheet meals that will give hella variety, lotsa protein, and its all very low effort. Highly recommend both for your next meal prep! :-)
I could, but its pretty easy. Put your blender on the scale and tare it each time you add something new, tracking ingredients as you go! Same thing for toppings!
Meg, my girlfriend is going through menopause and im always talking about Estrogen but her body I believe thinks she is deficient even though she prob isnt. Have you got any recomendations? Thx, love from Australia

WOAH that is so simple but mind blowing, less time on my honing iron now, thanks 😊

I just use the back of the knife lol. Not the blade.

One thing I like to do is use plain greek yogurt in place of sour cream to add a little more protein.
Banana pancakes: 1 ripe banana smashed, 2 whole eggs, 1/4 cup oats and 1/2 tsp baking powder or any thickener. You can add cinnamon or berries, etc, to taste. Definitely satisfies the sweet breakfast craving.

Great stuff Meg! Meal prep is something a lot of people struggle with. I really like the prepping ingredients rather than meals philosophy!
