Your yard is absolutely incredible 🤩 I just hace an above ground pool but was struggling to get the vacuum going due to air in the hose. Thank you for this video!
You may want to mention that the vacuum hose has two ends. The end intended for the vacuum head swivels. The filter end does not. I'd also advice using a pool vacuum plate. This way you may keep the basket in the skimmer in case any leaves/larger debris is sucked up. Also, there is no need to clean the pump basket. I may have missed it, but did you set your filter to "waste"? If not, you are only adding all that debris to your filter(s).
I would not advise anyone to vacuum heavy amounts of debris from the bottom (leaves , branches, rocks) with this method. Clogging skimmer pvc pipe is a real threat. This method is perfect for cleaning a small and fine type of debris from pool bottom. There is a need to clean pump basket because it may get full of stuff that blocks pump water flow. Cartridge filters (as the one presented in my video) do not come with any type of multiport valve. Yes, I have consciously added little bit of debris to my filters knowing that they need to come out and get cleaned. Filters were removed and cleaned right after this pool cleaning took place. Video on how to clean filters after pool vacuuming is coming shortly! (even though I already have 3-4 videos on my channel on how to clean pool filters).Thank you for watching and your comment !

If this video helped one single person to vacuum their pool - I am satisfied! Thank you for watching and commenting.
