    Question: what if someone purchased the regular pool pole and added a clamp when they wanted it to stay? A circular clamp like on that of a workout bar to lock weights on the bar?

    • @VikingAquatics
      @VikingAquatics 9 днів тому

      Great thinking, but....workout bar is much thicker.Also, if you were to use your pool pole every single day, speed and convenience is everything. Pool guys would not have time and energy to play with additional clamps. Not to mention, Skim-Lite is stronger and thicker than most pool poles that I have used and I have never bent Skim-Lite out of shape.I have bent almost all other poles that I own. ( fiberglass is the only one that remained straight ).

      It really is! I have tried many types of all pool brushes on the market and this one beats them all. I have roughly 6-8 of those SeepEase in my backyard, ready to go since I use no other brush. Once you get one, when not is use, do NOT let it sit in direct sunlight for weeks/ months. UV will destroy plastic bristle in no time.Thanks for watching.

      Luckily, the owner is a great customer and nice person who hires me to take care of all pool related issues. This is more of a problem coming from the fact that pools are closed down in DC area for 7-8 months every year and just sit without any supervision. In perfect world, all pools should be re-visited every 6-8 weeks and chemicals adjusted.Thank you for watching!

    I usually empty all the water out of my 30,000 gallon pool and refill it back up with fresh water every summer. I use the pool suction to vacuum all the waste that fell in the pool during the winter months. Using both the net and vacuum I can get it really clean. After refilling with fresh water, I use chlorine tablets and shock.

    Maintaining a pool is a lot of work. We thoroughly enjoy using our pool over the summer. However, my husband does all the weekly maintenance and can drop $$$ easy on chemicals alone. Some days, it can take hours to get the pool “clean”. There are times he says he wants to pour cement in it and be done with it 😂 And if you have tall trees on your property 🙄 forget it…

    Thank you for making this video. Even though my pump was not exactly the same model and brand, it was pretty much the same procedure. The only difference was that when I called my pool store, they said not to use any lubrication and to simply clean the surfaces of any debris so I cleaned the shaft and the inside of the seal housing with a metal brush and 1000 grit sand paper to remove the rust on the metal. So far no more leaks and it saved me from bringing my pump to shop, the cost of the repair and fairly easy repair. Thanks again
