  • 4 - 5 Russet potatoes
    5 Bacon strips (cooked and crumbled)
    4 oz. mozzarella cheese (cut into cubes)
    2 green onions (chopped)
    3 TBSP Dukes mayonnaise
    3 eggs
    2 cups Panko bread crumbs
    1/2 cup flour
    2 - 3 TBSP chicken bouillon powder
    salt (to taste)
    garlic powder (to taste)
    Tony's creole seasoning (to taste)
    canola oil (for frying)
    Sriracha sauce

    I have a question for you, the question has nothing to do with this video, but the question I have has to do with making homemade sausage gravy, for biscuits and gravy, the last few times I have tried to make biscuits and gravy with homemade sausage gravy, without a store bought country gravy mix, for some the gravy has come out really salty, so I was wondering will the sausage give the gravy enough salt to where I should not have to add any salt, thank you for your videos, your tips are really helpful.       Hello Kelly! It depends on the brand of sausage being used and how much sodium is in it. I like using Jimmy Dean, which has just enough salt for my taste. You might want to try using low sodium sausage and only add salt as needed AFTER the gravy is done. Taste before adding salt. Also if you are using salted butter, you might want to switch to unsalted butter.
