I have seen your craft room organizing videos before, but when you started pulling up a carpet, I was like "oh Dang. This is a legit. " Loved to see you kicking the carpet out the window and showing all the moments with your husband and kids, so real. My 4 year old is always like, "Can you take video?" And then the dance moves 😄

Your craft room makeover was so fun to watch. Total teamwork made it look so easy! It looks like you have done a nice job of just keeping on hand what you use and need. I wish I could do that... I seem to have all these ideas, so I buy things; but then never make the project or forget what I bought the item for in the first place! I could send a box to ten of you ladies on UA-cam of craft items and still have plenty of stuff to craft with for a year or two. I'm looking forward to your next video! Girl, I have been there. My husband and I did a spare bedroom over for a craft room. Husband built desks and shelving for me. Put waterproof hardwood flooring in it. I absolutely can say I Love it. By the way it is called tack strip. Lol!!

Yes I’m so glad we did it. I get really bad anxiety with messes, especially when they’re in my entire house. My craft room was living in my dining room for a week. It was awful but I’m so glad we did it and it’s finished
Your craft room is awesome. I only have a small craft area. My husband and I share an office. My husband made our desks. I only started crafting in the last 2 years. I am 70 years old and have some major back issues. I am going to have an abalasion done on my back in March and after that I will be a crafting crazy.

Your room is beautiful! You and hubby did a terrific job. Mine is a mismatch of shelves, dressers and tables, but it works for me. You should store your small acrylic paint bottles upside down when you have them so close together. Then you can see the color you want without
having to move the other bottles to find your color. I think my favorite part. Is the shelf with all the jars. I love that. Again..great job.

That’s a great space, Kristen!! Looks amazing! We’re currently renting at this assignment so I’m really limited to what I can do in my room but I do have lots of cubes and drawers. Mine are all from IKEA lol I can’t wait until we move our last move and I can finally get my craft cottage the way I want it! ❤ I love the shiplap wall! I don’t care what other people say, shiplap is timeless and never goes out of style! It’s always going to be in my house!! 😁

I totally understand about the carpet as My craft room was carpeted before it became a craft room. I am a very messy crafter and there is all types of colors of paint on my light gray carpet and who knows what else is in that carpet!! Oh well, its a craft room. I can't see how many of you craft so neatly, just doesn't seem right. 😀
Love how your room turned out. I see that blank wall and think, oh what wasted space! So many more drawers, cubes and whatever can be up against that wall......= more inventory!!!! Can you tell I need to get rid of a few things?!!! Now that my son moved out his room cross from my craft room is the overflow room! 😁🙃 Have a great day!

Your room looks great! I just did a little reorganization in my craft room. It looks much better, but my son wants to build me some cabinets and shelves with slides so that I can store my printers and Cricut machines out of sight when not in use. I can't wait!!!

WOW!! What a great space. You lucky girl you!!! Seems like just a few weeks ago you were reorganizing your space -- time gets away from me, though. If I were filming this with my husband, I'd definitely have to make it soundless -- he'd be snapping at me and everything that was going wrong. So nice that your little ones were helping, too. I'm so jealous -- I only have a craft closet and it's crammed full.

You could always create a standup workspace by adding a long board across the top of your new storage cubes, you could stain it the same color as your new floating shelves. 😀

What a beautiful room. My bedroom is my craft room too. I look at everything to see what might work best in a small space. The smartest thing I did was put all of my Christmas and Fall stuff in the basement. When I buy something I ask myself can it be used more then one way. Lol. It shouldn't be this stressful for something you like to do. Lol. Your room is wonderful.

It looks so good!! I love peg board, had one an my old workshop and want it in my new space. I have the same type of gray in my house painted over a color just like yours. Bought the house last year and Everything needs to be painted. My craft space is bright orange and blue sports team colors right now! LOL Cant wait to get it painted. This brings back bad memories for me lol we ripped out ALL our carpet when I was 8 months pregnant and redid our floors before our son was born. It was awful🫣 Now a little over a year later our vinyl flooring is just a mess and we’re gonna have to start over😩

Fabulous! Cube storage for the win! I have several cast off pieces no longer needed/wanted in the house in my craft rooms! I found an office suite off marketplace beautiful cherrywood 5 piece set. I’m making one room my to be done pieces, the adjoining room holds all my stuff to do it with stuff!

I am so impressed with all your hard work, along with your husband and your adorable little girls! I think your craft room looks amazing! Your furniture is lovely and yet functional, I love the gray walls (I have gray in my bedroom) and the shiplap. The overall look of the room is clean, uncluttered, a place where you'll be able to get a lot done. My Mom always said, "Clutter leads to chaos!", and she was right. I think you'll find that your new space will allow you to be even more creative and inspired which I think is your goal! I can't wait to see what you have in store! 💙
You’re moms smart I’ve been decluttering along the way. A lot of stuff is very overwhelming and I know when I have a huge mess I’m less creative than I ever thought I could be. I’m glad it’s finally finished so I can get back to crafting
