Yes! Totally agree! I always want to see the whole room first, so I get an idea how everything is laid out. THEN, I want to see the different pieces of furniture and of course what’s inside all the drawers to see how everything is organized! Been watching you for years and have enjoyed watching the evolution of your craft spaces! Like you, you really need to live in your craft space to see if things work. If not, you need to make adjustments and rearrange things until they work. What I’ve found is what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for someone else. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing how others organize and arrange their spaces as I’m always getting new ideas! Love your videos!

I know how much time and energy it takes to maintain, pivot or adjust, especially with all the retired products with Stampin up. Your space is perfection. Wow. Great room. So nicely organized. Sorry about your losses too. My grandma had that stool chair. I loved sitting on it and hang out with her while she cooked.
I've repeatedly watched this video and get new nuggets of inspiration each time. Such an inspiring space. I do have one question. You had mentioned that you were over keeping what is current. I am too. Keeping what you love as I want to too. My question is that do you ever feel you will want to use that item again or envision a future project to use that product for? I struggle with cardmaking supplies. Keep or not. I am primarily a memory keeper and story teller. But love to make cards on random. Any advice?
This is something I may do a video on in the future, maybe waking through my thought process when I'm purging items. My best advice and the way I go about it is if I look at a stamp set and I have a idea of thought like ... hey I might want to make something with this somday ... I pause for a moment and think about it.. do I have anything else that is like it ... no okay I will keep this. For example I have a stamp set that has lightbulbs ... I don't have any other stamps that have this and I can think a few ideas or way I want to use it so I will keep it. Most of the time I keep most Christmas stuff because if I have purchased Christmas items I really want it. I keep anything that has a camera because I love that ... but say Butterflies I end up with lots of those so I can look at a few sets and decided which one I like better ... or would use more and keep that. I hope that helps.

Hi Katina, First time on your channel. Love your "super organized" craft room! I don't do Project Life or Ali Edwards projects. I'm mostly scrapbook and make cards. Nevertheless, your video was chock full of awesome ideas that any type of crafters can use. I'm in the middle of my 3-year craft room organization project. I was supposed to post a craft room tour video in a UA-cam hop this last Sunday, June 26th... but I didn't quite make it. I've been participating in the hop for over a year, leading up to this video, boo hoo. Nevertheless, I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel and hope to finally post my first ever craft room tour in a couple of weeks. Thanks for sharing... now back to work for me! I remember when you first remodeled the garage! Are you wondering if you may eventually run out of space? Looks as if there is a lot more in the room than in the beginning.
Ohhh how fun that you were around then when we started. No I'm not worried, I joke with my husband sometimes and will say lets add a few fet of extra space to my room and he gives me the look of death ... like don't even think about it women! lol !!!! No really, I'm not worried at all ... at this point I have a good handle how and what I like to do and I'm very big on purging and cleaning things out. That is what started this whole process a few months back, I just wanted to go through and make sure everything I had I was using. Now I could see me changing the layout of the room in the future. I don' t really need such a long table anymore... I would rather a large rectangle type workspace where my kids or friends could be here with me hanging out. I've also already swapped out the smaller TV for one that is a bit larger which changed things up a bit in that area.
I'm not sure about square footage, it is the size of a one care garage... like old school, in the 70s one car garage. Our house was built in the late 70s
