DRED FX CUSTOM PAINT
been looking forward to this one- Awesome video! That dial is so interesting. I just love these vintage airbrushes
It's a cracking brush very lite and responsive
The first brush is model F which was a smaller, even simpler version of the model H. Fred Flintstone did cave paintings with one. The F and the VJR were the first brushes I ever brought. More than 30 years ago from a local art shop. No UA-cam back then to learn from and I never got the best out of the VJR. Your video has really inspired me to get both out of the draw, dust them off and give them another go.
Thank you for the feedback on the brushes I think the vjr is a lovely brush will definitely use it more 😀
Bought one from Airbrush warehouse in Australia recently - they had stock on clearance.
Sprays well and feels great.
Thanks for reviewing it - would never have known Paasche even made a gravity feed.
Nice one didn't think you could still get them 😉 brilliant brush thanks for the feedback
@@dredfxcustompaint got lucky, they had some really old stock that most would overlook.
All the lube was dry so everything had siezed up. All good when cleaned.
I think its a 1970s, and they might even sell replacement parts! Nice looking, brush for its age it looks mint condition!
I have the Paasche v airbrush which is the side feed version same dial on top , I used it as a way to ,I thought ,do cool fancy effects. I set the top dial to a fine line then started brushing, pulling back on the trigger when I wanted a wide spray then releasing the trigger back to the fine line psychedelic patterns is what came about. Love the blast from the past it was the H&S ultra of its day
Comprato oggi, il Paasche VJR, molto particolare e costo moderato nuovo, mi piace la rotella molto comoda, grazie.
Great video on a vintage brush. I believe this is the airbrush Alberto Ponno uses to create his amazing artwork.
I own one and I absolutely love it.
This was my first airbrush when I started to learn how to use one
My older Paasche are the smaller F, H and VL - all general purpose fire hoses.
Nice to see a gravity feed one.
Interesting video, Rob. I had a go of a paasche talon a few years ago. Didn't seem to get any tip dry with it.
Hi mick yes that's another brush I really want a go with thanks for watching mate 👍
That looks a fantastic little brush, seeing as it was made back in the 70's it put's the paint down really well and with good detail and atomisation, great review Rob👌👍
Thanks mate another one for the collection 👍
Yes mate you can never have to many of them😆👍
Don Eddy uses the Paasche 'single' action airbrush for his photorealistic work. it's quite astonishing.
Oh wow! That’s so cool mate. 👍
That’s really cool mate!
Big thank you mate 🙏
This is the brush mazzi used fir his zippo paintings for a long time. I think he uses a micron now.
Hi mate got a suction single action aswell and believe it or not was given to me by a good friend aswell like you had to strip and clean but boy it laid paint well thanks for the vid Rob 😊😊😊
Yes it's the same one at the beginning of the video who gave you that then 😮😮😮😊
@@dredfxcustompaint As if you dont know 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you got the memory of a goldfish 😉
It's a fake one
@@jc2200 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you recovered yet from your 90mins of trying to run around a football pitch
Mate every part of my body Hurts ...⚽️ ain't no joke😂😂😂
I'm not aware of two versions of the VJR. What do you mean by two versions of the VJR. What's the difference.
hey , i got the same trigger stop mechanism on the airbrush i got with the ozito airbrush compressor . but i think if u use this type of method to limit ur trigger u get spits and more tip because when u shut the air the needle is not on the starting point . or is it just me overthinking on it ?
I've never seen a mini H model
This was my first airbrush I own
Nice one 👍 it's a great brush glad I now own one 👍
