Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 чер 2024
- Making a star act with a T-Rex is hard. Let’s talk about how difficult it was to make Theodore Rex, from the court case that forced Whoopi Goldberg to be in it, to a writer/director ill-equipped to handle the situation.

"She had her own line of cushions..." 😂 Lost in the convo but got chuckles from this guy lol.
Same 😂
Lololol I didn't even get the joke until I read this comment
I could not believe they overlooked this gem
Note to self... don't drive while listening to It was a Sh*t Show. I was laughing so hard I couldn't see. I made it to work without crashing, thank goodness. This show is the best!!
*Sh*t Show Productions & Muppet Bags Unlimited are not responsible for distracted driving due to podcast shenanigans.
I found out about sh*t show and listened a ton in the last week, so this feels like a divine gift
Welcome to the nonsense!
It’s like somebody saw the hallucination scene from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and thought… You know what this needs, more Whoopi Goldberg lol
we have been SPOILED ROTTEN by you guys lately! thank you so much for the content! 🎉
Our pleasure! Glad you’re enjoying it!
The movie that Whoopi Goldberg wished could be deleted forever. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Well reading the script and or just hearing the plot should have been more than enough to realize that would be the ending results and you should probably just decline the role...
I thought she did.
man right as im about to do the lawn... thank you noise cancelling headphones
I don't normally comment on youtube videos, but i have to say you guys are so entertaining, plus fueling my obsessions with Behind the scenes of productions, this is my new favoirte podcast. everytime you publish something this jumped the line in my queue very quickly
Wonderful to hear! Glad you're enjoying the nonsense!
Me realizing the dinosaur is dressed like Shaft in a movie with Richard Roundtree in it is rocking my world twenty seconds into this episode.
49:51 Hearing you guys act out the deathbed request of Stefano Ferrari's father had me laughing so hard. Bravo on cracking open my cold, soulless being and filling it with your comedy improv about old Italian stereotypes begging their sons not to dedicate their shitty movies to their memory. I had no idea my sense of humour dial was calibrated to such a specific setting.
It always amazes me what I think will be big tangents from these two while preparing the episodes… and the shit like this happens. Haha
I appreciated the added clips interspersed. Not sure how long those have been included because I've been enjoying it audio only lately, but the effort is noticed and acknowledged!
Edited to add: If the "guy from the bag" is a Jim Henson spy, he's definitely Pepé the King Prawn. "I am the guy from the bag, okay"
Edited again: Stefano Ferrari is following the arc of Cillian Murphy's character in Inception. He's breaking down his father's empire to create something of his own, except instead of a pinwheel, it's a dinosaur buddy cop movie.
This was the first episode with clips. Glad you liked it.
"Puppet spies that are actual puppets" oh F!, that's funny!
The whole father’s last words but had me laughing so hard I almost died. I couldn’t breathe I was just laughing so hard, tears rolling down my eyes and I love you guys for making me laugh so hard. I’m still smiling over it
I haven't stopped laughing for two days, I never thought saying Theodore with an Italian accent was what I needed
Why must you guys always upload when I'm about to go to sleep?
Whelp, guess I'm staying up another hour...
Here at Sh*t Show Discount Video Emporium we think you should never sleep!
You HAVE to do a Making of Nightmare on Elm Street. It quite literally was a shitshow. Pretty sure it reached a point where the cast and crew went without pay
Speaking of movies with puppets (or at least one character that was a puppet), I feel like there has to be a sh*t show somewhere in the 1986 remake of Little Shop of Horrors. Just the fact that they had to reshoot the entire ending is pretty crazy. Just an idea. Love the show. Keep up the great work.
George Newburn was also the voice of Superman in Justice League and Injustice.
I’m so glad the man in the bag had a big of an influence on you as it did on me
New episode of “Clint and friends!”
Yesssss, new episode.
This was absolutely hilarious. Senior Ferrari's dying wish being "don't dedicate this POS movie to me" has me in stitches. I lost then gained more respect for Whoopi throughout this emotional rollercoaster. Great episode 😅
Now you gotta watch the movie!
@@ItWasAShtShow the episode wasn't THAT good but I thank you for your sacrifice 😂. I'm letting this one stay in my repressed childhood memories file
I've never heard of Theodore Rex before, but this episode was great! Thanks guys
Watched it as a child while channel hopping and it was fun 🙇♀️
No one else here heard the writer's name and thought, "They aren't going to comment on the fact the writer is named 'Jonathan the Tool'"?
Hey there guys, I love your show!! I first saw your excellent episode on The Fugitive, one of my favourite movies from the 90s (I am about the same age as you guys!). I have been going through your podcast from the beginning, greatly enjoying it!
I hear you consider requests. My favourite movie 'Brazil' has a serious sh!tshow production, it would be fun to hear you talk about it.
Best wishes from Adelaide in Australia!

Buddy cop movie where the lead actor also voices his non-human partner is basically Venom 😂
🤔
Dude I can't believe I'm seeing this though every body had forgot about it!!
I bet Whoopi Goldberg would love to destroy every copy of this movie.
I personally rented this movie when I was a kid, I was only made fun of over it for years and years since then.
No matter how good my taste is, no matter how many great things I've found, if my sister for instance ever questioned a decision of mine... THIS would be the movie referenced.
I don't even know if I watched the whole movie. I don't remember any of it.
I just remembered this movie existed, and I tried HARD to forget it too.
I thought Whoopie did the same thing honestly, I just figured she bought every copy of this movie and had them all destroyed.
Time for a rewatch with your sister! It’s all on UA-cam.
The making of this video may have been a shit show. Episode 76: Contractually Obligated Casting 😬
?
@@404TVfr they’ve used the static image from a few episodes ago
Appreciate the clips of what you're talking about 🎉
Also I went to watch cat in hat, was pretty fun
Right? It’s fun bad. Very entertaining.
This podcast is the best while exercising 😅
And FOR exercise!
gonna watch this on youtube right now
Good luck!
WHERE IS THE "The Making of Futurama was a Sh*t Show (Part 2)"????????????????
Unfinished
always need the directors 2x4 for dinosaurs(The ghost of Papa Ferrari should be a new one)
Cool of you guys to know about the fever dream I had when I was five.
Hey. Wake up. This podcast doesn’t actually exist…
Just stumbled upon this podcast and I've been binging it all day. You all are great to listen to!
Would love to see an episode on improved lines in movies.
Would also love if these had the videos of you all during the podcast.
Keep up the great work!
Glad you're enjoying the nonsense!
Really hoping for a “director’s 2x4” reference in this one. Cheers, shitsters!
Damnit! It was right there!
Rae came through at 27:07. Y’all never disappoint!
See! I totally forget these as soon as we record. Well done Rae.
yes! 🎉 I did it! I totally forgot I made that reference too. *pats self on back*
@@raereynolds1 Hey, if we get Clint’s Closet, it’s only fair that we get Rae’s Rambles.
Kinda just want to do every e-signature for credit card purchases as Keanu Reeves for now on and see how many I get away with.
WOW.
Since you guys are probably going to do bottom of the barrel movies I recommend 2009 Canadian movie Gooby behind the scenes of the movie is mental and a rabbit hole.
I have long since known Goldberg dod mpt want to do the movie.
I'd never heard about the answering machine message.
Green Ranger courtroom drama is on the horizon… watch this space

RIP Mr. Ferrari 🦖🪦👻⚖️
I say Nicholas Cage as the Cop and Kurt Russell as the dinosaurs 🦖 for the remake!
Or Mike Myers as the dinosaurs 🦖 with his Shrek accent or his Dutch accent from gold member!!!
I would see that remake!!!
Anyways, I saw this movie or this experience as a kid in the 90s. I think it was on Tv 📺 one fateful day-once upon in the past! I think I was 7 or 8 when I saw this movie… Even my 8 year old mind couldn’t comprehend, what I just watched. I couldn’t tell if it was funny bad at the time or just really bad… But looking back on this movie it’s like that friend you remember but don’t talk about because he went to prison for unknown reasons…
But,,, don’t worry that friend is getting out in 2 years and you’ll still probably not talk to him because your not really sure what he did to get in prison for the first place…
See yah
ABC, Always Be Clint.
The producers AND the director ever worked in film again. Abramson has worked a bit, but it seems it still fucked his career too.
What?
It’s about time that they publicly recognize that Clint is the Whoopi Goldberg of the show 1:02:51
He HAD been contractually obligated to stay on the show.
@@ItWasAShtShow release the tape!
@@ItWasAShtShow unrelated, but I was wondering if you knew how much of a sh1t show the 2005 season of Doctor Who was.
@@404TVfrI do!
@clinterekson I was specifying the ShtShow team about how hellish production was.
😂
Not the mamma
I'm contractually obligated to leave this comment but I'm going to make it a shitty one.
The more Whoopi opens her mouth, the less I like her. She has said some seriously awful things in the past 10 years. Edit: sounds like she’s been awful for decades.
Still better than Doogal
Where does this fit in the misguided live action anthropomorphic comedy protagonist movie pantheon. Worse than Howard The Duck? Better than Tammy and the T-Rex? I doubt any movie could beat an average episode of the Henson Company's great DINOSAURS series.
Certainly not as good as VELOCIPASTOR.
