i will say the bystander is so funny but honestly Angela birthed the character in my opinion she made it so much more funny then it would have been.

It worked so well she destroyed her voice for a couple of weeks. That's why for a couple of weeks after the second bystander video she was terribly hoarse.

Yeah, I caught it on my second watch through and laughed so much. Eventually I want to do a compilation called Editors at Smosh doing THE MOST or something like that because there are so many moments that editors made things even funnier or just straight out troll/poke fun at the cast.

@@cutiegurl9996 To be fair, he walks out with a cup, hands her a note that says piss, and that's the initial joke. She must've thought his cup had piss in it then.
After that, every time he shows up, she assumes his cup has piss. He just stood around, not much to add to that - the character never said that his cup had coffee.
It's not that she "boiled it down" to the piss joke, it's just that such a joke defined the character so she's simply remembering the continuity.
Of course, her stomping around and making noise doesn't fit the character at all but I don't think she realized that until later.
@@cutiegurl9996 If you literally watched this you saw that Shayne didn't have anything planned and this was just a random nonsensical bit. Angela made the bit more with her reaction, as Shayne literally said. She was trying to make him laugh, which she succeeded and knew that would work. It's as simple as that. She went to the roots of the joke as someone else mentioned anyway, but it's not as serious as you are trying to make this for fucks sake 😂

Shayne needs to secretly ask Angela's mom if he could get a copy of a family photo that's hung on a wall or stood on a desk, get it to one of the editors, photoshop himself into it, then give it back to the mom, and just put it on the original portrait. And *_NEVER_* mention it to anyone.
So that if Angela ever visits her childhood home, she'd have the chance of casually reminiscing over the photos, and just find The Bystander in one of them. Doesn't matter if it takes days, weeks, months, or years, she would freak the fuck out.

I wish I had more time for compilations because there's so many I want to do and Smosh pumps out content so fast that I just keep ending up with more ideas for compilations then I have time... @@letsplay7828 oh yay! That makes me so happy! Part of my goal is to make it easier for new Smosh fans to understand the inside jokes without having to watch 8 years of content. I was a new fan a year ago but I was in a depressive episode and I'm adhd so I fixated like mad on Smosh and have watched a ridiculous amount, except, ironically, for the sketch comedy

Because genuinely, if it wasn't a close friend and coworker done in the name of humour it would be creepy af. I imagine her sitting on the deck with Amanda, her wife. If you haven't seen Patrick MacDonald's short, "I Live in Your House" you should. And I want this to take place in the same universe, especially because Amanda is so disturbed by the character that Patrick plays but Angela isn't at all so turning it around on her would be interesting. But then I guess they would need to have Patrick as a guest writer, since it's his universe.
