How to come up with a Shayne joke:
1. Take a relatively mundane part of life: getting your order taken, going to the doctor, having a fight with your partner, etc.
2. Inject it with an incredible absurdity and base the entire joke around that absurdity
And it works
This is legitimately the Monty Python equation for comedy. And if Shayne traveled back in time to be a member of the crew, he would fit in beautifully.
He is very similar to Monty Python and Seinfeld comedy

Sassy Leg Infantry makes me cry laughing. Everything from Noah and Courtney losing immediately, to Keith’s internal struggle, to Kimmy, Lasercorn, and Damien laughing at the perfect times. TNTL perfection right there.
I rewatch this regularly, and my favorite thing is that Shayne laughs at EVERY one of his jokes. It’s such gold that even he can’t help it.
