- This lecture was originally given by Professor Edith Hall at Gresham College on 29th November 2018 entitled “The Theatre of Dionysus”.
Gresham, which was founded in 1597 to provide free public lectures, subsequently forwarded a copy of the recording to Professor Hall specifically to allow her to post it on her UA-cam account - as it did with all 11 of the lectures she gave at Gresham.
In May, without notice, Gresham unilaterally filed a mass copyright claim against Professor Hall arguing that by posting her lectures on UA-cam she was infringing Gresham's copyright. This had the effect of disabling Professor Hall’s UA-cam channel for several days.
As she still owns the copyright in the text of her lectures Professor Hall is re-recording them. This is the second re-recording.
