Whitney, good to see your smiling face back in your studio! I always love your seasonal “plans” videos and this one is no exception! You had mentioned late summer that you would be keeping essentially the same color palette for fall/winter and it appears to be an excellent choice! The fabrics are gorgeous! Would you be able to make a video of how you execute taking the LN Glissando pants pocket from a jeans style to a slash style? I’ve attempted pants pocket style changes over the years with no success and I’d love to learn, once and for all, from an experienced teacher such as you! Finally, I am so in love with that plaid wool you’ve earmarked for the Phoebe! Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing, Whitney! ❤
Wow, you have such a great list of makes. Thank you for the motivation. My big project is the Bella Loves Traveler coat and a couple of Cashmerette Vernon shirts. Maybe pants.
Love your plans and that fabric to make a coat is very nice. I got back in my sewing room today ( Saturday) and it felt great. I plan on going back in this evening.
I've just made an autumn/winter skirt out of some wine coloured scuba crepe from my stash. I used the maxi skirt from the Love Notions Olympia dress, cut off a few inches so that it comes to just below my calf, and added a waistband with elastic through it to hold the skirt up (it lies flat at the waist with no gathers). I absolutely love it! I've already picked the fabric from my stash for the next one.
You look so happy and excited! These are great plans Whitney. I’m loving that sweater vest especially. The new LN jumper that has yet to be released looks like it might be a nice addition to your fall/winter wardrobe too. 😉
I love your plans and can't wait to see them come to fruition! I made a pair of pants recently from olive green cotton twill and my only disappointment is the twill is a magnet for lint. Not sure how to remedy that.
Just need a working crystal ball to know what our weather will be like. Lots of things stayed in the closet last winter as we only had a couple of weeks it was cold. May jinx things if I purged them now!
Usually I get my ideas from you,, but your Glissandos in ponte are so much like LN Duet pants I made in September and traveled with in October that I decided to share my experience. Lots of stretching happened in my international flight, so I will be taking them in before my next planned vacation in April. Loved how comfy they were--secret pajama pants! Even after the big flight, I still looked classy and current in my destination airport. Looking forward to the video on the Largo Cargos and Clef Jacket. The Largos are definitely on my April trip sewing for packing list and a matching or coordinating Clef is a great idea! Thanks! ❤
Thanks for your useful notes there, Dawn, I was thinking of making the Duets for a trip in January so I’ll baste them first and wear them for a while to see what happens before sewing them up! I’m also making a clef coat in soft shell and other goodies! Enjoy your trips!
Great video and good pattern choice, Im in the process of making the Phoebe Coat Pattern and it's a beautiful makes. Pattern is well done and the instructions are excellent. Can't wait to see yours.
Love your selections. If you want to match ribbon to Stanton blouse try embroidering. Your machine may have a preprogrammed design. Looking forward to seeing the results. Thanks for sharing.
I particularly like your coat plan. Great fabric. I'm looking at coat making myself but don't know when it will happen. Im making a style arc Harriet jacket at the moment.
Hi! Love your work, but I never get the checklists you send out? I usually get the newsletter but not the checklists? Do I have to do something special to get it? Thx Peggy
Whitney, your color palette for Fall looks suspiciously like the colors of the stripes of the chair you were sitting on. I think you may have subconsciously picked that chair because the colors of the stripes resonated with you.
I don’t think there was anything subconscious about it. I think Whitney looked and planned to have a chair with her spring colors on it. It too effort to look and find the upholstery that would compliment and look great with anything she wore. I’ve admired the forethought

That coat in that fabric will be fabulous!

Fantastic ideas, thank you for the inspiration 💕🧵Xx

Whitney, please please, please make a tutorial for the green tube knit top! How fun would that be! :)
Gorgeous fabrics! Excited to see the finished makes. Especially love the plaid coat! Thank you for the inspirations!❤

That sounds so good! I have that pattern AND just might copy your idea!
Wonderful video this morning and inspiring!
@@norakathleenbertoglio4414 I hope you like yours as much as I like mine :)

Fun and inspiring. The Seamwork Greer is just the pattern I was looking for to sew for my daughter. Looking forward to see your projects come to life.
I love hearing your excitement about getting back to sewing! It’s very infectious 😊

I love the addition of purple!
Love the plaid. I hope it works out for your Phoebe. But if you are matching the plaid it might eat up too much for the longer version.
The aria love notions could be a good fall pattern for a dress, the lines look good on you

I love your videos. The t shirt you have on did you make it, and what pattern did you use? Thank you, June from Italy.
Hi Whitney! Love this video. Question for you - would that teal ponti work for either a duster length cardigan or a Metra blazer?
Good stuff!!
What top are you wearing? I love it and want to make one too!
Do you thinik that greer dress is going to be clingy, or does it have enough a-line that it might not be

@@kathygann7632 Hey Kath. That may be, except that I think she got that chair before she had her colors done.
I’m a bit surprised you’re going to hack the seamwork Henley pattern when LN’s Henley already comes in a dress length? :)
Noticed that you’re buying fabric from Minerva. How does that work as it’s in the UK?
