I love your Olive pinafore. I have some black baby cord that would be perfect for one of these. You've inspired me to make it. How does it fit? Is there much ease in it? I 'm usually a 4 to 5 in Tilly patterns. Is it true to size? Thanks for bringing us all of these lovely patterns and inspiring us, helping us to decide what to make with our fabrics xx
Thank you so much for watching I’m glad to have inspired you 😊 I made the size 2 and it fits nicely not too tight and the length is nice. My measurements are 32” bust, 26” waist, 36” hip and I’m 5’ 3” I hope that helps xx
I’ve really enjoyed this, Sally, thank you. I have similar patterns to many of these that I’ve not used yet, and I also own the Tilly pattern book with the Olive pinafore in it (also not made 😂) so now I’m feeling inspired! I must stop buying more patterns and actually sew up ones I have!! X
I would like to sew up a winter dress from baby cord, I wonder if the Lumpi dress would fit in longer length, thank you for the review, the last dress I would take the top and adjust the skirt to a flowy one from two rectangles, I have something like that bought and its really nice.
Great video. I think it's a great idea going back to some of the older patterns that are really good but we have forgotten about them! ❤
Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it xx
Some lovely choices Sally x

I really like the Thea dress and the triple smocked dress. I might try these dresses as I like the way they are shaped. Thankyou.
I’m glad you found something you like x

Yes I think it would work really well in a baby cord - not too heavy! Great idea about the skirt change too x
Thank you

I'm interested in the Olive. Do you think I can omit front darts to accommodate my big tummy?
Yes I don’t see why not it would just make it less fitted at the waist 😊 x
xXX👍👍👍
