Ginger Noir It might be fake, I guess xD But look at the guy's eyes and overall look. They are nearly the same: that rough face and cold blue eyes make me think of the Shadow Client as an Agent 6

He's the Constant, Providence's representative. Known only as Mr Edwards, he's the voice of the 3 wealthy families who make up Providence, who are called "The Partners". His identity is revealed in the latest Hitman game. His voice acting in this game I think is much better than in the new one, even though its the same guy. It sounds forced, not as genuine in the new game. At least in my opinion anyway.
Is that Crispin Glover voicing that guy? I've seen American Gods and I feel like I recognize the creepiness in that voice. Not to diss Glover of course, he's a great actor.
7:40 47: "I think they called me, 47" Diana: "That's... Not a name..." 47: "So make it one" Hahahaha XD 47 Always shows some kind of humor, without him doing it on purpose.
I love how 47 is portrayed as an absolute menace that even the highest, most powerful, most mysterious organization in the entire world that controls literally everything doesn’t have that much info on him, and has to request the help of the ICA to help take him down.
The thing I think they did right here is that they *nailed* 47's character. Absolution tried to make the series have more of a persistent story, which was admirable but they did it by giving 47 emotions and motivations that he really never displayed at any other point and it felt strange. Here, they expand on his character and backstory but in the right way. His dialogue is sparing but witty and intelligent.
Blood Money tried doing that long before Absolution did and failed just as spectacularly but for some reason is one of the highest praised games in the series. Sure the gameplay is fun but the story is just as bad.
Dumb question here but I want to get into this hitman trilogy so do I need to finish blood money and absolution to understand this story, like are they interconnected or is this a different story on its own?
@@Cypher15100 You don't need any of the previous games; Hitman 1 begins right at the start of 47's training. The tone and restraint is so polished and mature, someone really had a vision for this. I always loved Hitman, but was never impressed with the story. This however is really solid. Nice espionage intrigue wonderfully mixed with heists and assassinations. Diana and The Shadow Client also add a nice emotional core to the story since 47 is very cold by design. And I also love how it's not really a reboot, the first level is a prequel, the rest is a sequel!
24:44 The conversation between Burnwood and 47, this entire sequence is a masterclass in dramatic tension. It really felt like a suspense thriller film the whole scene. The slow pan around the two characters, the facial expression remaining utterly neutral despite the gravity of the situation, the quiet music ever so slowly building in intensity...flawless. This sequence could be used to teach a class in acting. I do hope someday we'll get to see a series with acting a tenth as great as these video game cutscenes.

Unbeknownst to Diana, the Constant is sizing her up for his job. He wants the Partners of Providence eliminated and has for some time. She also is unaware of the fact that what has made Lucas Grey so effective in his operations is a healthy supply of insider information...from the Constant himself.
I don't know, how would you expect to keep a low profile having a bar code on the back of your shiny bald head and a resting face of "International Hitman"?
Wow, this is some intriguing and true underbelly espionage shit they are developing! They need to hurry up and get the 2nd season rolling! Fantastic acting in these scenes!
A work of art........ Presents the story line beautifully. Good work agent Nameless. The payment has been transferred. Good luck..... Remember, who wields the blade decides who holds the pen...
Lucas Grey's voice is so soothing and calming. His actor did such a great job. David Bateson kills it as usual, I bet it's hard to hang around the guy and not think of 47 every time speaks. And Diana, well, she always has my love throughout this franchise. I'm glad they didn't kill her off in Absolution so she could return here. ☺️💜
God the "Call me 47" cutscene was badass, the game describes it like this: Ight, you passed your training, check out the type of shit you've done later. And then there you are in Paris, continuing your assassinations.
Yeah, since the first game was a financial failure the publisher dropped them halfway through development, the fact the second game came out at all was a miracle.
@@talpatv512 IO was dropped from Square Enix after HItman 2016 failing to meet expectations but they landed at WB for publisher on Hitman 2 and were working on that with cut budget and cut staff, now they're independent going forward with Hitman 3 and the future
I get that in a "prequel" stage he looks younger and thinner, but how does it aply to a later game, that takes place after all other games like Absolution, where he look older and more pumped?
I don't think he is was all that pumped in absolution and as for the older look, they wanted for him to look more like he was a fugitive from the law I guess, if you look at 8:57, which is a scene from absolution, he looks like he does in 2016
weed 420 absolution wasn't deleted, in the recap of 47's previous assassinations of this game it is showed dom osmond's death scene (the strip club level in Absolution). Now like he said it doesn't make sense that 47 looks younger, thinner and has still the bar code on the back of his head without even a scratch after that he cut himself to delete the bar code in absolution if this game is supposed to be set after Absolution. Not only that but 47 looked way more skilled in Absolution than in the newer game.
Darksoul 96 The Strong I'm pretty sure at least the prologue is a prequel, it does say "20 years ago" after all. In a post asking about this it seems in one stage the date "2019" can be seen, indicating that at least some of the game is set after Absolution.
It's a pity. I think the trilogy delivered, but it still was far from Square Enix greed, and so, they let it go after the first game. Imagine Hitman 2 and 3 with these cutscenes. Amazing.
Brilliant video bud. Far too many youtubers title a video as cutscenes / movie, only to show what they think is some good gameplay (they are usually terrible at the game) scattered between every cutscene.. This is a perfect example of how these videos should be done, cheers.
I love that Lucas Grey is using a revolver instead of a pistol. There is something so... poetic, about using such a weapon for an assassination of this magnitude. It looks like a .357, guaranteed to finish the job with only one round. Have to love a classic. ^_^
I am trying to find out why the hitman sequels do not have these same Cinematic like cut scenes. It was one of the things that make Hitman 2016 amazing.🤔
One word: Budget. After Hitman 2016 was released, Square Enix ditched IOI and thus, the Hitman IP too. IOI managed to work out a deal with Square Enix to become an independent studio, this meant that they had to start over. This is why the cutscenes in Hitman 2 aren't live action or in-engine footage.
I should be doing homework. I should be doing one of the goddamn shitton of projects I have. And yet I am here, watching the cutscenes of a game I alredy own.
Me, I've never played the 2nd game, and just brought the gold edition of it, haven't gotten to play the first one, and didn't wanna go through all of it, so, glad this video exists. 💯
First training mission: Escapes unseen Burnwood: Very good 47, now vary your strategy Second training mission: Guards panicking, chaos, dozens dead Burnwood: ...Interesting... approach
25:38 has always been my overall view of "The Profession". ..and she's also wrong about it happening before too. They had a Rule about The Agency having (Multiple) Operations for a single client, which is the reason why Ort-Meyer hired The Agency under different "Aliases". Even though, they EVENTUALLY figured it (him) out.. they still allowed him to acquire their services for one more mission. Which is why it's funny because, after that whole fiasco, they finally allowed Multiple Operations under One Client (So long as they are upfront about their identity).. but she forgot the one guy that started it all.
I played the first game so long ago, and I've never played the 2nd game, so decides b4 buying the 3rd game to buy the gold edition of Hitman 2, glad this video exists as a recap of the first game. 💯
I wonder if this Ezra Berg was the same Ezra Dalia Margolis talked on the phone asking for a background check on Tobias Reiper before she could get killed in the bathroom. That would be a cool way to kill some loose ends.
It indeed was! I thought I was the only one who noticed that. I honestly love the concept of an ever-developing narrative in this game that constantly keeps getting fleshed out through progressive missions! And if you closely analyze the dialogues of essential NPCs such as the targets, there is a lot of foreshadowing in regards to future targets, locations, plotlines etc. They are genuine pieces of a puzzle that the player can combine to from the grand, overall picture. The plot in this game is seriously underrated IMO.
24:37 Who else thinks it would be amazing to have a map where you had to infiltrate an airport (with the plane too). Even just the terminal would be good 😌
Yeah, imagine if you had to take out a target at the airport. But if you take too long, he gets on his airplane, but you can sneak on there as a passenger or security. Then, to extract you could skydive out or arrive at the new airport. That would be awesome. 👌
The rubber duck is a great tool to place an explosive device inside since people would only see the rubber duck instead of the explosive device, they would think the toy is harmless but just silly, and the rubber duck makes squeaky noises so it can distract people if they heard the noise, then they might pick up the toy without knowing there is an explosive device placed inside which would give agent 47 a good chance kill his targets if they picked up the rubber duck.

Noa Zeus it isn’t
Naveena Vice Man, that joke went miles over your head. Besides, I can see the resemblance.
he looks more like Colm Feores to me
The fact this game came out almost 10 years and looks this stunning says a lot.
Wow, this is some intriguing and true underbelly espionage shit they are developing! They need to hurry up and get the 2nd season rolling! Fantastic acting in these scenes!
5:00 like a shark in a tank, nice touch
genius.
Oh my god. I didn't realize it before but yes. It's exactly the same.
They stole it from 007 skyfall training
kind of like when the FBI posed as reporters.
This game had the best looking cutscene ever for 2016
A work of art........
The pen quote is just soo real and its alws stuck with me in life. Thats a good lesson
God the "Call me 47" cutscene was badass, the game describes it like this:
Ight, you passed your training, check out the type of shit you've done later.
And then there you are in Paris, continuing your assassinations.
Hitman is so graphically stunning
Sadly the cutscene didnt work like this in hitman 2
Sadly it was just slide show
Yeah, since the first game was a financial failure the publisher dropped them halfway through development, the fact the second game came out at all was a miracle.
@@teogonzalez7957 what? No, the developers went independent and they din't had a publisher anymore
@@talpatv512 IO was dropped from Square Enix after HItman 2016 failing to meet expectations but they landed at WB for publisher on Hitman 2 and were working on that with cut budget and cut staff, now they're independent going forward with Hitman 3 and the future
Did anyone else think that the key from the Messenger was actually a grenade? I does kind of look like one as well.
no because he used it to open a safe
You know, back in the day I also thought the same thing. I mean, keys don't usually look like that.
I thought that too, especially when he said "I just killed you"
The airport scene was the most important cutscene of the whole game
The story telling scene is amazing.
Communicating without being entirely direct.
“You know him?”
“Better than anyone, he replies.”
I will leave you to prepare
No one actor or actress can represent the Hitman characters as well as the originals.
Listen carefully, IOI
Make
An
Animated
Movie
Thanks
I don't even know who Mr. Fanin is but I know I'd die for him
Also the Shadow Client/6 has a lazy left eye which spooks me
I see 47 just always looks angry even in childhood.
*Thank you, messenger*
“Don’t, I just killed you”
*Then we’re even*
7:50 just showed 47's past after joining ICA, every assassination... sooo, absolution is canon!
I loved this version of Diana, so charming and beautiful ...
Rewatching this after Hitman 3 is just depressing a little
I get that in a "prequel" stage he looks younger and thinner, but how does it aply to a later game, that takes place after all other games like Absolution, where he look older and more pumped?
T-1000 absolution is deleted story line it was shit too much
I don't think he is was all that pumped in absolution and as for the older look, they wanted for him to look more like he was a fugitive from the law I guess, if you look at 8:57, which is a scene from absolution, he looks like he does in 2016
Can people stop saying this. The publisher, the studio etc said this game takes place AFTER ABSOLUTION. It was not deleted. Fuck
weed 420 absolution wasn't deleted, in the recap of 47's previous assassinations of this game it is showed dom osmond's death scene (the strip club level in Absolution).
Did they do motion/facial capture for cutscenes? The details are insane
Love the hitman games
why the hell didnt they animate the cutscenes in hitman 2? budget constraints?
They went independent
Well no square enix and they lost a lot of workers
It's a pity. I think the trilogy delivered, but it still was far from Square Enix greed, and so, they let it go after the first game. Imagine Hitman 2 and 3 with these cutscenes. Amazing.
Brilliant video bud. Far too many youtubers title a video as cutscenes / movie, only to show what they think is some good gameplay (they are usually terrible at the game) scattered between every cutscene.. This is a perfect example of how these videos should be done, cheers.
I actually like those better. Its not for gameplay, it’s for context.
I love that Lucas Grey is using a revolver instead of a pistol. There is something so... poetic, about using such a weapon for an assassination of this magnitude. It looks like a .357, guaranteed to finish the job with only one round. Have to love a classic. ^_^
It does add to his character.
This should be in rap song " We won a long time ago, this is just maintenance"
Agreed 😂
I am trying to find out why the hitman sequels do not have these same Cinematic like cut scenes.
It was one of the things that make Hitman 2016 amazing.🤔
One word: Budget.
After Hitman 2016 was released, Square Enix ditched IOI and thus, the Hitman IP too. IOI managed to work out a deal with Square Enix to become an independent studio, this meant that they had to start over. This is why the cutscenes in Hitman 2 aren't live action or in-engine footage.
Holy shit, Diana look gorgeous in that final scene.
I should be doing homework. I should be doing one of the goddamn shitton of projects I have. And yet I am here, watching the cutscenes of a game I alredy own.
I like to think 47 sam Fisher john wick the equalizer jason born and the accountant all exist in the same world
Same, they're all about criminal underworld and global elite conspiracies
Don't forget about Solid Snake!
ReckerGamer
Solid snake is a government asset dealing with issues related to war, while badass, he doesn’t fit into the criminal underworld theme.
@@okuyasu4033 he has dealt with warlords and such in the past , so he kinda fits in
Humankind is not gonna survive
Who’s watching this in 2020 to replay Hitman 2 before the launch of hitman III
Me, I've never played the 2nd game, and just brought the gold edition of it, haven't gotten to play the first one, and didn't wanna go through all of it, so, glad this video exists. 💯
Oh boy cant wait to play hitman 2 to listen more to Diana's sexy voice
Simp
Diana has such beautiful eyes... I love it!
First training mission: Escapes unseen
Burnwood: Very good 47, now vary your strategy
Second training mission: Guards panicking, chaos, dozens dead
Burnwood: ...Interesting...
FUN FACT:
The actor who does the voice for Lucas grey is also the same actor who voices aaron keener in the division 1 and 2.
Thank you for this. Now I can understend the story of the rebot better
Hitman Netflix series ×1000% yes yes yes
It could be crap. It could be fantastic.
@@4rs0n1sm so like anything then
Issue with future hitman will be how this amazing FMVs from SEnix japan cannot be used again, unless they have budget and SEnix agrees to contract
You were so right about this.
They managed it with still frames.
Does anyone which is the soundtrack which plays through these scenes?
I just noticed that the Pope is on the board of possible Providence agents in Colorado, lol

TheWitchking123 another example I found out is that in the Cuba training mission a soviet named Janus is mentioned, a target in the second game.
@@teogonzalez7957 back when he was KGB,before defecting to the americans,i just replayed it and was shocked
8:00 soundtrack name please?
24:37
Who else thinks it would be amazing to have a map where you had to infiltrate an airport (with the plane too). Even just the terminal would be good 😌
Yeah, imagine if you had to take out a target at the airport. But if you take too long, he gets on his airplane, but you can sneak on there as a passenger or security. Then, to extract you could skydive out or arrive at the new airport. That would be awesome. 👌
1:50 ¿ Skyfall reference ?
Are these cutscenes live action, or at least some of them?
love this briefing cinematics
9:40
Why a duck...47 Why?
It's an explosive in the game
And also from silent assassin the second game.
