Fox cub rescued with PLASTIC RING stuck around his neck!

- Foxes are quite curious creatures, but we're not quite sure what inspired this little fox cub to stick his head through a plastic cookie cutter!
Although the plastic wasn't causing damage, he'd been stuck like this for more than a week before Hannah, one of our rescuers, managed to trap him. Luckily, once back at the centre, it wasn't long before we could get him free and back with his mum!

Always good to see Simon saving a life. 😎❤️
Thank you for giving this little soul a second chance 🥰
There’s nothing quite like the warm, fuzzy feeling of being proven VERY right, huh Lawrie?
Wishing this little beauty the best of luck back with mum 💜xXx
It brightens my day to see Simon and Lawrie, the whole team are such heros . This makes me keenly aware of whatever I throw away how it could potentially harm an unsuspecting animal. I try to cut stuff apart and disassemble so nothing is harmed. It's painful to see that damage done to the animals.
I also have been inspired to be careful about what I throw away. Cutting things up is part of my routine now. ❤ to all from the middle of America.
Same here. I’m trying to teach my Daughters and Grandsons as well. They always seem to be in such a rush and never think about what they’re throwing away. I stop them and explain the harm they do to wildlife when they can’t be bothered to take a few extra seconds to cut things apart. I hope it’s having an effect 🤞🏻!
Yes, Yoplait yogurt is terrible for letting animals get their heads stuck in Yoplait containers. They have been asked repeatedly to redesign the containers as they have a small top opening leading to a wider chamber that often has residue in it. The animals push into the small opening and can't get their heads out of the slippery container which has nowhere a paw can grip to hold it. Don't buy Yoplait. I don't know if they market in Europe, but in the US, Yoplait is very popular. If you must have it, cut the containers before trashing them.
Thank you! May God bless Simon and his team!
It's inspiring to see all the people who will stop to help an animal in distress. Thank you for all you do.
Ninja fox is _very_ fortunate that he _did_ get caught by people who wanted to help him. Much longer and mother nature would have dealt with him. :( Also, very good to see that Simon is still able to do what he enjoys.
Love the banter between Simon and Lawrie 😂 thank you for helping this little guy! lets hope he doesnt try it again. Bit of an unusual situation that it feels like. At least it wasn't tight!
Thank you Wildlife Aid!
We love Simon & Lawrie (what a double act) and what great savers of creatures great and small 🦊🦔🐦🐀🐿🦆🐾🐾♡♡
I bet that poor cub felt so relieved to get that stupid thing off his neck! Good job, Simon! Much love and prayers to you!
I always love to hear the byplay of Simon and Lawrie ❤. Does the heart good, especially when it’s in the process of saving an animal’s life. Well done, Simon and team!
Thank goodness you got the Fox Cub out from the Plastic Cookie Cutter Ring. With some good Durable Scissors to get him free!
Yes indeed he was Elusive like a Ninja and Not a Hero Turtle. Hehehe!
Got him free and hopefully Reunites with its Mother.
Happy to see Simon at wildlife rescue still helping god bless you Simon keep going we love you

Bless all of you , for helping the fox cub .🦊❤
Thank you for looking after all the wildlife 🦊🦊🦝🦝🐭🐭🐰🐰🦔🦔🦢🦢🦆🦆
I love how despite everything Simon is still very much active with WAF. Keep being you Simon!
Love it how you say "releasing him back to the wild" and then released him in someone's back garden lol. I get it you are absolutely correct, it's his home, but it did make me laugh as I had conjured up the depths of Africa or something. 😀❤
Thanks to Simon and the team ❤🙋♀️
Big Thankyou to Wildlife Aid and Simon
Thank you for everything you do or the animals.💗💗💗💗.

Nice work, team.

Every Happy Animal Deserves a Happy Ending...❤❤❤❤❤
It was great seeing Simon participating in this one (and dropping some sort of bomb in response to Lawrie while he's at it ;) Well done guys - the poor foxy doxy was shaking and demure after evading capture..
Wonderful rescue 😊😊. Thank you for saving this precious baby❤❤❤❤.
Shudder to think what would have eventually happened without your help. Thank you for saving him. ❤
Good luck, little feller.
Thanks Wildlife Aid team 👍
Best wishes for Simon 🍀
Such a cute baby. Thank you for helping the lil guy.
Great team work guys and gals. ❤
Another saved. Thanks, guys and girls.
Thanks!
Thank you on behalf of the fox! 🤗👍
Back in the foxhole he has a story to tell... 😂
GOD KEEP BLESSING YOU ALL!
Thank you for all you do. 💚💚💚💚.
you saved a life. Kudos.
Such a cute little fox. There's a property for sale next door to me and a fox family has moved in with six babies. I can see them from my window. I throw them some scraps. Because that's a lot of cubs to feed.
You should advise them on how to get a mortgage.
Good to see you, Simon. Thanks for all you do.
So wonderful to see you Simon!!
💚🩵💙💜🤎🤎😊😁😄
Good to see you Simon & glad you seem to be doing well 🙂
The more I see these acts of altruism, the more I'm amazed there are still people who keep claiming that everything we do is for selfish reasons.
They're probably 'projecting', talking about themselves.
Bedankt
Lucky cub! 💜
How many more foxes are you going to save from trying to strangle themselves? Jars, wheels, pipes, tins Thank heaven for you guys and girls.
Run away, little fox! Run as fast as you can to Mama, little one! We are all God's little creatures, and I am too!
❤🦊❤️😃 Wonderful work you all do. Thank you.
Merci, chacun de nous devrait avoir ce réflexe pour aider les animaux errants, ils ne parlent pas, ils ont besoin de nous. MERCI ENCORE.
so grateful for the rescue
So darling, this little baby
I'm guessing there was something tasty on the other side and the baby put their head through, got the food and was just living their life with their new accessory. Thankfully though it wasn't tight so the little one could be returned home quickly.
Poor little fox kit, so confused and so scared. ❤
Geez that looked uncomfortable. Yay!! Simon saved the day.
Danke💖
I wonder if these critters realize what Simon and the gang are doing for them. I can’t help but think that some of them might actually be grateful.
Well done Simon please you doing ok
Well done Simon that was an easier one. I remember when you got one with its head stuck in the wheel hole
Thank you for helping him! ♥
Hi, Simon! It's great to see you!
They were surprisingly calm and placid. That's unusual to see.
Foxes have the perfect head shape for getting into these silly situations
Great work, such a cute lil fox! 😍
I also love the random stuffed monkey spread out on the laundry dryer/rack outside (from 0:04) 😂
Yes, great to see Simon❤️
Good to see you Simon!
The one fox with a tire wheel around his head was my favourite I think.
Aww little biscuit wanted to make biscuits XD
Well done!
Poor wee chap 🥰
Metal pipe, spare wheel, pot... I wonder what is next where a fox head will stuck :D
Silly foxy trying on some new neck decoration. Glad you guys talked him out of it, and even taught the lil' cub a few new choice swear words to impress his siblings with :)
😂😂
The fox is not silly dont be insensitive... the fox is an animal and vulnerable do NOT CALL THE FOX NAMES...
it's always a good day when Simon's out saving wildlife
wonderful work
He caught the Gingerbread Man before he was even baked!
"WHERE have you been, young man!?"
"MUM, MUM! I met SIMON!"
There's a tool called a 'nibbler' that may be of some use in helping remove plastic jars or metal pipes - if you can get a finger in the gap, a nibbler and some patience may help.
💕
Simon❤❤❤
❤🦊😊
Well done but did you give him some water to drink before releasing him? He looked rather exhausted.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
🥰
I so wish some people wouldn't dump their rubbish everywhere. Please bin it folks, because this is one of the consequences, an innocent victim. There are enough obstacles for animals, that we leave around like our garden pots and bins, without adding rubbish to that.
👍💕
Se ven los que se salvan pero así mismo habrán los que No.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Perhaps it was a fashion choice? ;)
2:10 is that a flea on his eyebrow? Do you give them flea treatment before letting them go?
a like is not enough - you nead a
I know what that is... thats a cookie cutter! Poor thing
This is one of the reasons I never make scones
0:06 That's a lazy monkey...
for heavens sake. to get the damn thing, you going to need an electric circular saw. why do people still leave their rubbish lying around outside? honestly, as an animal rescuer, do you sometimes feel to old see all the crap over and über again? for decades! i admire your commitment deeply. RESPECT ❤️
I actually wonder if it was in a sandbox or similar. Cookie cutters are often used as play toys for kids outside
Grow up. Literally. The whole thing about life is that we have never done it before, so it's a learning issue for every single one of us. You cannot expect every person to understand "don't touch fire," some have to get burned in order to learn. Same with actions that lead to other's consequences, be it drinking and driving, acting petulant in a relationship, having kids without a spouse or job, or felling a tree themselves and destroying the garage.
Is it upsetting to get the same calls again and again? Yes. In every profession. It is annoying to no end seeing the same behaviors lead to the same damages to the school instruments, the same parental profiles leading to the same abused children, that sort of thing. I'm sure nurses have their own gripes, lawyers, retail clerks... but whining about it doesn't make it go away. It just makes you, the complainer, look immature.
All we can do is educate and try to help people replace bad habits with constructive ones. Stop getting upset over things you can't control and look ahead with the data so you can improve the future. Animals have always died in horrific ways so long as life has existed, humans didn't invent a fox down a hole or a deer caught in ivy or a hedgehog stuck between two saplings, and certainly not the bird falling from the nest. It's great society is able to support people who just want to save animals! But understand wildlife is not something most people think about when their window is left open and a raven pops in to steal a utensil for fun, or a child forgets to roll up a net, or leaving a small ventilation gap between buildings. And once the problem is recognized? That's when problem solving can occur, just like the shirtwaist factory fire and hundreds of worker deaths lead to safer working conditions. Sometimes fatalities happen, because this is a mortal world. Crying about emotional feels just because is counter productive to learning and creating solutions to preventable problems... and then education is key so it does become part of the social fabric.
@@Undomaranel Well that escalated. If you're happy to die for the sake of someone else's personal growth, fine, but you don't get to make that decision for any other human being, or control how they respond to the idea emotionally.
@@Undomaranel well, well, well. someone ist getting exided. for what actually? i comment my opinion, and that's it. my point remains. dispose your rubbish propperly.
@@nevem5010 so much emotion for a simple comment from me, amazing right? i certainly admire the work of animal rescuers.
You could say it was a cookie cutter rescue!
Thank you.
But what did the fox say?
