    Review:
Introduction The theory of psychosexual development, also known as the theory of libidinal development, is one of the earliest theories explaining how personality develops in human beings. Freud believed that these psychosexual stages were driving force behind behavior and each stage is associated with a particular conflict that must be resolved before the individual can successfully go to the next stage
    Psychosexual stages involve 5 stages:
    1.Oral Stage
    2.Anal Stage
    3.Phallic Stage
    4.Latent Stage
    5.Genital stage
And these stages describe how an individual can get pleasure and its fixation.

As the far the content is concerned it is good. but the whole purpose of watching a video on a study material is to find something interactive and not Monotone. It is my personal view that the Presentation can be more interactive.

How is talking considered an oral stimulation? Talking is more of a mental process than it is a physical activity. Besides, one does not experience any oral pleasure from talking compared to the feel of smoking, biting, and drinking.

While I agree with most of Freud's theories, the psychosocial stages is not one of them.

Yes, he certainly had some unconventional and non-scientific ideas. Personally, I think his greatest (and best) contribution to the field of psychology is psychotherapy and the idea of actually listening to patients describe their experience, rather than expecting them to just be quiet and follow the doctor's orders!
