Golgumbaz Express extended to Pandharpur enjoys it's last diesel days from Mysore

The Mysore Solapur Golgumbaz Express was recently extended to Pandharpur from 4th September 2023. Seen here is the same departing Mysore with UBL WDP 4 20065. This beauty still sports the original WDP 4 cab and is an absolute delight to watch
The Golgumbaz Express is pretty much in its last stages of diesel run between Mysore and Hubli (or probably end to end) as it is slated to change over to electric traction soon enough. UBL based WAG 9 is expected to take over from the EMDs between Mysore and Hubli. As of the remaining section between Hubli and Pandharpur no news has been received so far and it might probably be an EMD link only
