Whatever happened between sehwag and rashid latif, happened due to constant insulting behaviour by sehwag towards Pakistani team and Pakistan as a nation. Otherwise each and every player of Pakistan have appreciated Sehwag's batting skills. Its his mental condition which caused that verbal spat.

Yes Doctor you rightly said about Shehwag and Shoaib Akhtar . But you forgot to mention...Virendra Shehwag had a special liking for Pakistan bowling attack. The world has witnessed how Shewag has destroyed Pakistan on many occasions. 309 (375 balls) in Multan, 254 (247 balls) in Lahore, 201 and 173 in Banglore and Mohali give ample proof of domination. This man Shehwag has scored the fastest tripple ton in cricket history 319 by facing only 278 balls against the mighty South African attack. Needless to mention, Shehwag has a test batting average of 91, 14 against arch rival Pakistan. That was the dangerous impact of this great cricketer. So definitely Shoaib Akhtar has got the taste of Shehwag from a very close proximity.

Doc you forgot to mention that Sehwag has scored 284 runs in less than one full day of test cricket against SL in Bradbourne Stadium in Mumbai. I can't forget that inngs. Unfortunately, he missed third triple century in Test cricket for which I will never forgive him.

My opener in all time eleven. Any day and every day, no matter how great other openers are. It’s not only about the batting but also the fear he instilled in the minds of the opponents. Very few could do that.

I am an Indian and we (I and my dad) used to dislike Mr. Latif whenever he used to come to bat. But my dad always used to say that he is fighting for his country and that deserves his appreciation.
