A walk to look at the floods in the Buckinghamshire Village of Chalfont St. Peter which has been flooded by the usually dried up River Misbourne.
As I explore the floods I share some of my memories of the village!

Loved this river, but it started to dry up most years from the mid 90's, the last time I saw sticklebacks. :(

I would laugh if I heard the Misbourne flooding. As you mentioned that sometimes it doesn't flow would really get you to think it could never flood.

I guess Yaprak will lose some business- made me laugh that you’d rather it was a Wetherspoons! Not sure the rest of CSP would agree. It interesting because we have seen heavier rains and the village did not flood as much. Hope the Greyhound is okay as they got trashed by floods not all that long ago.

@@HenrysAdventures Oh I don’t know that. I’d guess it’s a demolish and rebuild as they will be going upwards several more stories.
Aside from some flooding around the Greyhound years ago I don't remember seeing flooding like that around the village. Cheers Henry, hope you're well
