I was at Troy's shop when this car was in bare metal. Got to walk underneath it and take a bunch of photos throughout the journey. Such an amazing machine and easily one of my favorites from the Rad Rides team in Manteno! Great video!

This is an unbelievably awesome car. I have followed it since I first saw it when it was still being built, no paint, and had already made the pages of Hot Rod Magazine as a feature. The stance is perfect , I love this fast back Torino it was unveiled at SEMA a few years ago.. sounds awesome not quite as load as the black ops Fairlane.
“Driven hard and driven a lot”. This Torino is as cool as they come. Customised cars are not usually this Englishman’s cup of tea but, like a bad road accident, it’s hard to look away from this creation. Rubber bands for tyres, aviation screws and superb presentation all round make this a favourite. Best of all, I could listen to the owner’s drawl all day. This is, for me, “The Right Stuff”.
Or from people how like classic cars look like classic cars. If u want ur car be like modern, just buy modern one instead of ruining this muscle. Stuff like that just plain dumb. For me this nice car was turned into a pile of garbage

Even as a Ford guy, I've never been a fan of the 69 Torino, and I also have to say that many 'restomods' don't turn out well. Having said that, this car looks really nice. The builder did one helluva job color matching so many different pieces and parts. This must have taken forever to complete. I wouldn't be surprised if he bought the car new in 69, and began the restomod transformation that very next weekend, and just finished last weekend! Lol. What is going on with the individual hydraulic reservoirs sitting just behind each and every pedal? Nice job of documenting everything. I guess that's one of those Kasse Boss 9's. How cool is it that there are NEW versions of several old, ultra-rare Ford engines being produced right now, such as the Boss 9, the SOHC 427, etc.
This build on this car was covered by Hot Rod Magazine and I think it was on the cover in bare metal to highlight the EXTENSIVE sheet metal work, widened body, hood fit, rear spoiler etc. I saw this awesome car at Good Guys Columbus.

I really like this ford body style. i owned once a 69 XL with a 390 auto that was stock but had the hideaway headlights instead. I will restore my just picked up 65 mufftang 4 speed vert hopefully next summer for my ford fix but i will have to make due driving my 77 stir stick T/A while i start my 69 440+6 4 speed Cuda this summer to next winter.

The movie Gran Torino was shot near my Train Room in 2009 @ Pointe Hardware. Hope I have the date correct / The rest of the movie was shot in the Points area of metro Detroit / This Torino is vey close. / The Blue Oval rides on with this video. Cheers from Michigan 🚂

This Restomod doesn't look or sound restful! Looks bad, like it never sleeps! With all the cool metal n screws n riveting it's very mech, n what he didn't tell us is that it all folds up into to that case/control panel in the trunk, ironman style! It sounds like a mad dog, even the wheels say grrrr! Cool kinda bronzey color, just right for it. I think I'd call it the mad dog prowler... grrrrrr! Love it! Way cool car n vid... thanks!!

Awesome car first off. But it reminds me of a house designed by a master carpenter. Flawed concept, excellent execution. The hood bulge/scoop is like belt AND suspenders, it's either or, not both! "Nascar style" interior is not a thing. It's simply no interior. The gauge/dash is 80's pro street horrid, and the color is well, there's a reason you don't see a lot of that. Remodeling your bathroom is a great idea, just don't let the tile guy design it, even if he's a tile master.

The movie Gran Torino was shot near my Train Room in 2009 @ Pointe Hardware. Hope I have the date correct / The rest of the movie was shot in the Points area of metro Detroit / This Torino is vey close. / The Blue Oval rides on with this video. Cheers from Michigan 🚂

All that high skilled labor and all them super expensive parts. i cant imagine how much that thing cost in order for the builder and the crew to make any money. Doesnt look like those guys cut any corners.

This Restomod doesn't look or sound restful! Looks bad, like it never sleeps! With all the cool metal n screws n riveting it's very mech, n what he didn't tell us is that it all folds up into to that case/control panel in the trunk, ironman style! It sounds like a mad dog, even the wheels say grrrr! Cool kinda bronzey color, just right for it. I think I'd call it the mad dog prowler... grrrrrr! Love it! Way cool car n vid... thanks!!

But it reminds me of a house designed by a master carpenter.
Flawed concept, excellent execution.
The hood bulge/scoop is like belt AND suspenders, it's either or, not both! "Nascar style" interior is not a thing.
It's simply no interior. The gauge/dash is 80's pro street horrid, and the color is well, there's a reason you don't see a lot of that.
Remodeling your bathroom is a great idea, just don't let the tile guy design it, even if he's a tile master.
