It's gorgeous. Best looking Torino made, I didn't care for the '73 restyle, and the earlier ones were less unique, they looked like miniature LTDs or Fairlanes. And it's awesome that you restored it factory stock! Too many of these cars are cut up, modified, and given crazy dub wheels and paint jobs. They look awful. Restore it like the designers wanted it, they knew what was the right look.

My brother had this car and he had it custom painted emiron blue with Cragar mags and 50 series tires on the back. the motor had a Holley 750, Aluminum Intake and a mild cam the car would make a hissing noise from the hood scoop from the carb spray and the motor screaming was an awesome experiance. The front end would raise up. Could easily run 13s could have dipped into the 12th with slicks And on the Street it was untouchable. laid waste to a 454 Chevelle they couldn't believe that got beat by a small block Ford.
Also the car road so smooth and the engine just kept pulling. To me it's one of the most perfect street cars you could own speed and luxury all in one.

Real brutish beauties, and this big gal in green is endlessly gorgeous to look at, both inside and out. Heavy handed tho, you know? Not (more) delicate like some Mopars and Pontiacs and Oldsmobiles....more of a thick and heavy approach that I have come to apprecaite a lot. Hey Lou! I know it's an old video...but another nice one. Great car. Would be proud to own. Some people don't like green, but green cars seem to find me, have owned several and currently own a green Lincoln.

The 351 Cleveland in 1972 had a drop in compression. The 1970 and 71 came with 11to1 compression where in 72 because of the smog effect they dropped the compression back to 9to1 which took a lot of horse power away from that 4V Cleveland! Best little race motor Ford built back in the late 60s early 70s! Build one for a friend of mine back in the 80s and dropped it in a 73 cougar XR7 with a 4 sd and 4:56 rear gears and big solid lift cam and 8:50 Holley dbl pump and that car ran mid to low 11s on 28 inch slicks!!!

+Lou Costabile my sister had a 1970 Cyclone GT 351 Cleveland 4V 4 sd all stock and original! My brother in law and her husband had this same 72 Torino except his car came with a 351 Windsor 4V and that little Windsor ran but my sister beat him pretty good probably 4 car lengths! I grew up around the old muscle cars! The first Street race car I ever rode in while the person went through 3 of 4 gears was my cousin who had a 1966 SS Chevelle 396 with 375 HP 4 sd and that is why I have the same car except for I have a 327 with 12to1 ported Dart Motown Heads and ported Victor jr intake plus Muncie 4sd with 4:88 rear gears and 12 bolt posi brute strength chunk Moser axles! This is my second time finishing the drive train. The last time I had a 350 with 11to1 and basically same everything except the heads are ported and intake plus a solid lift cam and this time a mechanical roller cam this time! 350 ran mid 11s and this motor should run mid to low 10s!!!!
