I now know you are a true craftsman at your job. Mixing concrete vs dry pouring shows you take pride in your work. I truly enjoy your videos, getting better with every new one you post.
Another great video. I bet the purchase of your auger truck made life a lot better for you two. I remember back when we bought our large hydraulic conduit bender and table it made us so much more efficient on jobs. 👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻
Another really enjoyable video. I was having a rough week at work and when I saw this posted I took a little break and watched. The satisfaction from watching you two get so much accomplished gave me a new energy to attack the day!! I must say when I first saw the title and started watching I thought you needed to disassemble the whole thing to move it!!😮😮 What a great relief I was wrong lol. 😂
Man that’s what it’s all about. I’m trying to film these in a way that it’s informative and relaxing………..that makes my day. Thank you. I hope to have these out weekly, so maybe we can continue helping!!!
Hey your right Shane buying a mixer isn't a high priority for smaller jobs. Once you have a big job lined up you can always rent a mixer with a warranty and all you have to do is use it clean it return it and it's covered for repairs and even get a deposit back. I can see buying one if you had a consistent amount of mixing then it could be tax deductible plus it will pay for itself in time then becomes an asset not a liability. You are right to not spend money when it's not necessary and use that money for something else that's more important and can be justified better. As always brother the content is great. The journey is real and I hope your followers keep growing. And what you said about the guy paying for the repairs to the truck...man I was with you when you said "yeah right!" But there aren't many stand up people in this world so you caught a blessing. Y'all seem like good people shane and both of you deserve good breaks now and then. And yes like subscribe and share. Oh yeah the great "pudini" is one of those that are stand up people
Man thank you ! Yeah, it’s gonna happen one day, just not yet. We have had several larger pours, where the customer also wants a pad poured around the windmill base, but we always have a concrete truck standing by for that! Thank you for getting back to me !!! I have rented before and didn’t really care for that either. I’m hard to please I guess! Have a great day!
@@OkieWindmiller hey it's all good man. You know how you want it done and that works for you. I absolutely love this channel and I will stay faithful because it's really interesting the job y'all do! You and Laurie are awesome 👍😎

There are hand signals that will help in crane operations. Ya’ll might want to look into using them. I know we used them offshore and we could set heavy objects where we wanted them.
@@OkieWindmiller older tinker guy in Oregon claimed it did. He builds home built tractors for fun with flywheel make and break engines. I will see if I can find the video
Oh man I do! I have had another helper for a while trying to give her a break, but she hated staying home and she had a hard time with the other person knowing my needs.
Well if they are the other way, the bolts touch each other on the inside, and can’t get sockets on them. We all do it that way. Thank you for asking! Makes since to put them the other way, but if you look at any windmill, that’s the way they are. This mill is t that way necessarily because they go in the corner and the bolts don’t intersect, but I guess this one was done that way out of habit….😀
I was wondering if you might be able to answer this for me, my daughter lives in Duncan ok. About 2 blocks south of the water tower , do you think it would be possible to put in a drive well for her lawn ? Or is it way to deep for that. Thanks
Man I don’t know about the water table there, would be hard to say. I would try it for myself but would hate to tell someone that I thought it might, and end up not working. Those driven wells are really neat when they work!!!!!!! Thank you for watching and if y’all do it, good luck!!!!
I bet you are! That’s too much math for my brain!!!!😅 I searched and searched for that formula but apparently nobody agrees with each other……….so I just had to do my country math!!!😆
You and your wife work so well together. Congratulations!

Saw on a channel yesterday they hooked pump rod from windmill to a flywheel setup to drive a belt to cut his firewood.
Used old belt driven roundsaw.

Are those anchors sold as windmill anchors, or is that a design you did? Thank you. I love your channel and find it interesting.
They are my build, but exactly like the ones I get with a new windmill. 😀. Thank you so much!!!

Hate to ask, but why not put the bolts in the other way so they don’t stick out the legs as far?
