I have my sun conjunct algol, saturn, jupiter, and venus and I am very aware that the divine (the holy spirit, shiva shakti) can never be tainted and it's very literally pov that allows us to connect with god but humans in a less evolved state tend to be ugly, uncomfortable, and egoic . Ego and the effects of trauma would like me to believe there is nothing more to consciousness then those but I can't seem to turn back my awareness no matter what obstacle i get not that i'd want to, the spiritual and real world challenges of this combination and others in my chart are formidable. Everyone has those but dark goddess placements are just so intense.

I'm curious where you found the chart for Medusa. I have aspects to every single planet in the chart. Her sun conjunct my saturn, opposite my mercury. Her saturn conjunct my moon. Her MC conjunct my south node. My mars trine Uranus, her Uranus trine my Uranus, her pluto square my ascendant. And a lot more. I feel this relates to me a lot, I've had corporate bosses tell me I have "stone face". I honestly just don't place my happiness in the hands of sucking up to bosses. 99% of the time they could care less and don't consider you. (my experience, i have saturn conjunct algol in my 10th house). Theres so much more to go on. I lose faith in humanity constantly. Algol teaches a lot, but ultimately makes you fearless. A blessing and a curse for sure
I have Mars in the 10th conjunct Algol to the exact degree, with Jupiter only 3 degrees away. Years before I had even the most remote interest in astrology my friends and I got really into graffiti. I would tag as “Ghoul” and , when we had time for more elaborate designs, I would paint a disembodied Frankenstein head. I couldn’t have told you why at the time, but looking back, I wanted to confront people with the grotesque. Very on brand 😂

Something interesting, which iterates on the point you are making about the utilization of fears around "paternity discrepancies" to further patriarchal control in society... even within psychology, this theory has been taken for granted as being a "logical" fear for men. However, feminist surveys of human biology have found that the reality of paternal discrepancies have often been exaggerated and inflated by evolutionary psychologists to justify patriarchal norms. Hi @appletreedecorating the myth used in this episode is an original adaptation written by me (Joe G) using the original myth of Medusa found in Hesiod's Theogony, the original elements have incorporated Astrological Magical Lore found in the De Imaginibus and Christopher Warnock's book on Fixed Stars.
