For those of you who want to see the TORTURE CAGE picture I forgot to insert into the video side by side with the necklace, head over to Instagram and check out my stories 😂🙌 @LeftCoastRevivals
Agree!!!! Laura, you have inspired me to look for a vintage leather purse with long fringes. Ever since I saw one you were wearing in a previous video...the one with the really long fringes. Thanks for the inspo ❤💚💜💙💛
Almost everything I own is thrifted. My clothing is all thrifted (except underwear, swimwear & some shoes). My furniture is all second hand, some vintage and some current. My dishes are vintage Corel. My home decor is vintage art. Even my car is vintage😄
me too. The only new things in my house are art supplies (even though i thrift art supplies all the time too), my matrass, shoes (i need special soles) and my fridge. I love it.
Most of the things I buy are from estate sales, even art supplies, I do buy new shoes because I have very small feet and San Diego thrift stores never seem to carry my small size feet at 6.5 and I am plus sized so it’s a struggle with clothes.
The hat is from an old Salvation Army uniform, I would guess back in the 20s or 30s. The general in charge of the Salvation Army at the time was a woman, and she actually rocked some pretty cool uniforms (in addition to being one of the most influential women in the world at the time).
Actually it is part of the Knights Templar... the inside of that hat says M.C. Lilley company in Columbus, Ohio. I just googled and found some that matched. VERY awesome! ❤️
I don't ever feel your bragging just excited and want to share the things that make u happy... Be happy and share....no problem with me... I feel the same and love your style in clothes(course I'm a child of the 60's so you rock me and my soul thank y'all... granny franny -arkansas
My closet contains a lot of black items and brightly colored kimonos, Dansko shoes and boots and a few hats! I love anything embroidered too. All thrifted. Of course I'm twice your age and wrinkled and you are as cute as a bug's ear...... Thanks for sharing Laura. We're living proof that you don't have to live in leggings!
That's an expression I picked up from my grandmother... we were big on bugs' ears ... lol Another expression I love from her is "handy as a pocket on a sock."
That multicolored clutch handbag looks like a "Corde" style or "corded embroidery" handbag, which were made from a corded/braided type of heavy thread that was sewn down on a fabric backing to create the design. This was a machine made product made from about the 1930's through the 1950's. It was meant to recreate the look of the hand crafted style of "tambour" embroidery. They often came in black, brown, navy, but also in "rainbow" which were multicolored. Several companies produced this type of bag. Some lines had wonderful Lucite zipper pulls and purse frames (these are my favorite). On another note, I would say your billed hat with a cross on it is an antique Salvation Army Uniform Hat... Lastly, I would say that anyone such a generosity of spirit and genuine enjoyment for what they do can never really be a braggart, just someone who really enjoys sharing t with others...
Hi, I’m Dutch and I live close to Volendam. It is a little fisherman place, very beautiful and traditional... I wish you could visit someday... it is gorgeous... the girl in the plate is wearing the typical head dress from Volendam... the typical clothes and jewelry that belong to the women in the area are beautiful too, some of them they wear them still every day, they are very proud of their heritage. 🌷🌷🌷
My Mum was born in Holland, near Dordrecht but moved to Australia as a child. I've been to Volendam, it is beautiful. I've never seen a delft design like that, but would love to find a piece. Is there a particular name/ style that I can search for?
The mutli color bag is a corde or cordé bag. They started to be made in the 1920's and were still popular in the 1950's. Your multi color or rainbow bag is rather rare, as most were black or navy. It is made from gimp rayon corde sewn to fabric. What a great gift!
Your clothing, jewelry and household goods are like a walk down memory lane for some of us! Like great music, seeing certain items can take you back to a special life moment, a special event or a memory that makes you smile. Thanks for the theatre of the mind you create. As always, you are a blessing! Thanks for sharing.
It’s a collection; a time capsule of fashion. And I can see by how you touch each item that you respect the quality of the pieces. Good for you! Keep on shopping!
For the ones of us that follow your channel regularly, we would never think of you as a "braggy" person. We love to see your collections, including how you arrange them in your closet. It gives your readers ideas to use. Thanks for sharing, love your upbeat nature!!
Laura I have to mention I just love your intro. Let’s be honest when you watch a UA-camr consistently you tend to fast forward through the intro but yours.....I watch every time. I love the music and the clips you chose are so fun to watch each and every time!
@@leftcoastrevivals I love it! It’s the only channel I don’t skip through the intro for. The music is so cheerful and fun, I enjoy seeing them every time and I get a little giddy and ready for the episode to begin.

All I know is that you would love my closet and the things I collect, because I love yours! We have a lot of the same taste. I’m almost total boho in the way I dress. Been dressing that way for close to 35 years. I have 100 pairs of boots, umpteen crochet vests and crochet/lace cardigan type toppers, boho skirts and I am a total jacket ho. I’m an animal print addict too. I need to do a video showing my clothing, boots and jewelry. Most thrifted. I was thrifting before it was acceptable. Now I can’t find crap because everyone is doing it. EBay is my friend. 🥰😉
Wow 😮 this should be a 2 parter! You really have a stylist’s eye. That kimono 👘 is perfection! Yes please more DIY videos and more jewelry repair clinics with Michelle.
This video validated me 🤣🤣 I sometimes feel like an oddball with a huge closet of amazing vintage finds because “minimalism” and capsule wardrobes are so big. But I love all my special pieces! And even if I skip wearing something for a while (like your hat) I almost always come back around to it, if it’s truly great. More stuff like this please!
I think it’s a testament to how much we love the pieces and selective we are that we can skip a year (or two) and come back and still love them and be excited to wear them. Instead of loving for one season and then feeling like they are already “dated” my the next season.
You are a caretaker for these beautiful items and will make sure when the time comes they are passed on to someone who loves each of them as much as you do - the amount of things you have just reflects your big heart and how much you can care for and love.
Oh my gosh I swear you and I were standing in line together way back in some other lifetime when they were giving out souls, because everything about yours sings to mine 🖤
I just recently found your channel and have been binge-watching it for the last two days. We have similar tastes. Thank you for saying it's okay to not be a minimalist. Here recently the last few years there has been such a big push to be a minimalist not only in social media but it's influenced a lot of my friends and while that's their jam it's really placed a lot of guilt on me. and kinda ticked me off. To be clear I keep everything clear and clean but have been told if I got rid of my collections I would feel better because there would be so much open space and blank walls. As a person who has worked at thrift stores, and an antique store, and comes from a family of artists that's torture. Your closet was beautifully done and the trinket boxes and display bowls were a great inspiration. Thank you for the time and thoughtfulness that you put into your videos, they give the rest of us the opportunity to love what we have and not feel ashamed of it.
Laura, after weeks of watching your videos, I have learned so much. I have been thrifting, and I have gotten so much better at it. I had lost weight right before Covid, and donated 3/4 of my clothing. Then lockdown happened, and I lived with less then 1/4 of my clothes. I have now been thrifting, and thrifted all my summer clothes, plus another tip I took from you is looking at off season clothing. I have thrifted the best winter tops, and now working on my winter wardrobe. I have saved so much money, beautiful pieces for a few dollars. A whole new world has opened up to me…. NO more fast fashion for me, I can’t believe the quality of vintage clothing… I’m ADDICTED… I have purchased everything from Goodwill and my local thrift store…. Yesterday I found a beautiful black leather mint crossbody for $4…. I just want to say Thank you…. I enjoyed your closet tour, I am drooling over your beautiful clothes, and accessories❤️
Laura, even though our styles are very different. I absolutely love your taste in clothing! You have such a beautiful and unique style, and I can’t help but love how you pull pieces together. I can appreciate your fantastic eye for detail, and scoring pieces that have incredible craftsmanship. Keep up your amazing content on your channel. You have crafted such a beautiful and unique wardrobe, and home. You really are a master of fashion and interior design. Thank you so much for letting us peek into your fabulous little world!
The First bag you showed is probably an Aigner bag. German brand or at least her well known here. The owner was an apprentice at Hermès and the old bags have impeccable quality because they used saddle leather
That jewel box with the bird on it that you have the Scottish brooch in is a Chinese Shard Box. When a precious antique piece of porcelain was broken they would take the pieces and rework them into trinket boxes.
During the Chinese cultural revolution of the 60s and 70s it was considered illegal to be in possession of antique porcelain, so much was broken and thrown away...later in the eighties a Chinese family began a business collecting and making the broken pieces into shard boxes...I also have one and I love knowing that there isn't another like it, as no two are the same. Most of the 'shards' are hundreds years old, some thousands. Rather sad when you think about it, but I'm glad that these pieces of history get to have another life and be appreciated for how beautiful they are 😊🖤
Your closet room looks like a sweet little fancy boutique. Love how you merchandised it all (even though it’s not for sale). lol It’s beautiful and a fun spot for sure!
Laura, Your closet is amazing. You put in alot of time & effort not only finding all those beautiful piece but also in the way you display them like works of art. Thank you for opening up your closet & sharing it with all of us. You are a true inspiration. I'm going to change my unused spare bedroom into my own closet/make-up room. I have so many beautiful coats, purses & pieces of jewelry that are all in boxes & plastic totes. I never really get to look at them or enjoy them. It's time to unlease the awesomeness. You got me so excited. Thank You Laura.
You are an inspiration, love the dancing ladies earrings first dibs if you are selling them. The boots what can I say😍. You are an awesome human being and humble. Love this video and yes want more I love learning, and I learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing Shalom 🕊
Yes! I love your thrifting videos but one of my favorite videos of yours was "Thrift With Me: Goodwill Fashion Haul," from 3 months ago. I loved how at the end you modeled the clothes you thrifted mixed with clothes you already had at home. Very inspiring! I definitely want more like that! Thanks, Laura.
Your closet is so gorgeous and interesting. I saw a couple things in there that brought back memories for me. Yes, please do more of these videos, it was fabulous! Sending love from Ohio!
LOVE your closet!!! You convinced me that I should start looking at used boots. So I determined that Saturday when I go thrifting I would begin. So today I stopped at the thrift store by my house and meandered over to the shoes. Found a pair of vintage Dan Post leather boots for $6.99! WHAT?! The sad part is they aren’t my size but I can sell them and keep looking for more!!! Thanks you!!!
Your closet is spectacular and I absolutely loved the tour. The way you display your treasures is so aesthetic. Also, I am part Japanese and that vintage kimono is legit.
Thank you for putting yourself out there and showing us your closet! You have some beautiful treasures. Your are definitely an inspiration to buy second hand and that it can result in beautiful lasting clothes.
You are not bragging about what you have. I think it's awesome that you took the time to show us your closet! (btw it's fabulous) I was inspired not only to reorganize my closet but to get back to my love for shopping vintage. With all that we have gone through over the last year, you have sparked joy with a rainbow at the end to get us through! Keep spreading joy by sharing! : )
I came of age in the 60’s so you are speaking my language. I love that you love what you do. Your personality shines in these videos. Thanks for sharing! The old Coach bag was when they rehabbed their old bags for free. I had one redone. Those were the days.
I love that you display your treasures in such an artistic way. Beautiful to look at and it reminds you of all the fun memories from your thrifting trips. Yes, please do more of these! Looking forward to your styling videos too!
I pride myself on having a very minimal, simple wardrobe with just a few well loved accessories. But I have NEVER been so inspired to incorporate unique pieces (read: something other than simple solid tops and jeans) into my wardrobe. You have some lovely pieces and I would love to see your clothes in more detail!!
I have great respect for those that respect items and don’t just discard them! And the way you show your collections translates your respect for the items!😊
I love your style and I love your closet, this was great! I thrifted myself a gorgeous burnt orange corduroy coat tonight for $5.00 and a genuine Cole Hahn purse for $10.00 that retailed for $295.
What an interesting person you are! I adore your style. So original! I subbed for your beauty personality and style. This post impressed me most and encouraged me to be more expressive in my attire. Yes keep doing these kinds of videos! Ty so much! 🍃🌼✌
This was so much fun! Thank you for sharing your closet. The way you organize is inspiring. Don’t be concerned about how much you have collected…more is more, when it’s beautiful and gives you pleasure…and you can share. I enjoyed seeing similar items that either I have had or still have from the 60s & 70s. I’m 75 now and still enjoy all the vintage finds.
Yes, please continue to do what you've been doing, it's really great. Thank you so much for the entertainment value that you bring, I love watching you.
I understand the feeling of vulnerability but no worries. We aren’t judging you. I am really inspired by you and can’t get enough. Thanks for being so open. It’s refreshing that you are so real!
Good morning Laura from England.you are not bragging girl.you put your video out on world earth day, what a pity more young women don't shop your way.i am in my 60s,and have always shopped second hand.its fun,it's affordable, and it's kind to the earth.well done yet again😍❤️❤️❤️
Intimate is great!! Vintage is wonderful!!! Keep being you!!!!! Love your videos, like the thrifting ones. Love you and Selena together, but am realizing I also love you apart even more, tending to follow you more tho!! Best wishes, "Pam the Hand winner" your new BFF!!!

Your zest for life and your thirst for knowledge brings so much joy to us, as your followers. You will always succeed as you are not afraid to approach an item and ask about it, no matter where you are. Love it!!!
The green hat with the red cross on it has an emblem on the inside that looks like the same shape as the Salvation Army emblem. Your necklace holder that turns I think was originally used for men's ties.
Ugh, the envy I'm feeling really isn't flattering... lol! You have a gorgeous closet, and I'm totally jealous of all that space! I've only just gotten into thrifting clothing in the last few months and there aren't many vintage clothes I've found in plus sizes, BUT I have found a bunch of great new things. I really don't think I'm ever going to go back to shopping new again. It's bad for the environment, my wallet, and it's just plain not as fun!
You’ve got the right mindset! Sorry there isn’t much in plus size for you 💔 Our Goodwills here in Portland have really good plus size sections but not most of the rest of the thrift stores.
Laura, you are not bragging you are inspiring. My clothes and most of my shoes, boots, purses are thrifted. I love to thrift been doing it most of my life. I love to receive thrifted items as gift. Thanks Laura. I've been following you for a while and remember some things you've thrifted.
This video is my favorite, I absolutely loved the jewelry “armoire”, the red bag, the embroidered (wow!) boots, the silver jewelry and the kimono with orchids (wow!) ❤ I’m a huge fan of orchids; yeah. What I saw here was respect and TLC of vintage clothing and jewelry pieces, things with history, and not just a collecting for the sake of collecting sort of things. You showed me the whole new dimension, Laura. Thank you so much and warm greetings from Ukraine 🇺🇦
With neighborhood rummage sales starting in my area I been finding name brand clothing for dirt cheap and in good condition...Although I am not much in buying brand new stuff you still can find really nice stuff at those sales and my friends comment on my clothes...I say it was a rummage sale find....their reaction is quit impressive.
This was fascinating! I learned so much, especially with regard to display. When you said “out of sight, out of mind” - I was reminded that there are so many things in my closet that I forget about. I started vintage/antique shopping when my parents would drag me along to auctions in the early sixties. I have been doing that ever since, but until I began to follow you recently, I never extended that effort to clothing or jewelry. Thank you for giving me something we to learn about and hunt! ❤
Stunning walk in closet. That's how it should be done. All beautifully displayed. It looks like a quaint boutique. Nothing to be afraid of. You did a lovely video.
Brilliant - out of sight, out of mind, so display! Looking around my barndo as I type for how I can use that concept!!! I just love when you show up! It really does make my day! I think we all know you could never brag; you are so humble. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for opening up your closet to us. How do you clean your thrifted clothing and jewelry? I think my favorite piece was the clamp cuff, it’s very unique.
Clothing all goes into my wash or to a dry cleaner if it’s fragile. I also hand wash a lot of items 🙌 Jewelry I usually just wipe with warm water and microfiber cloth. I leave the patina because I prefer the antiques look ☺️
Girl I love your style!! I absolutely loved your closet! I think I want to turn one of my bedrooms into an awesome walk in closet so I can see all my favorite thrifted pieces on display I need a purge and you just motivated me!
You're so cute!! I love your positive energy! It's great how you know each of your pieces & where & what you paid for the pieces. Your organization is inspiring!! Thank you for being you!

Rather sad when you think about it, but I'm glad that these pieces of history get to have another life and be appreciated for how beautiful they are 😊🖤
I'd love an in depth episode about vintage and mid century jewellery designers that inspire you
Your closet room looks like a sweet little fancy boutique. Love how you merchandised it all (even though it’s not for sale). lol It’s beautiful and a fun spot for sure!
This closet tour was fiercely fun and inspiring!
Your necklace holder was a men’s tie display rack in department stores many years ago I believe.
Your closet is so gorgeous and interesting. I saw a couple things in there that brought back memories for me. Yes, please do more of these videos, it was fabulous! Sending love from Ohio!
Oh my gosh I love, love, love it all! Beautifully displayed and tastefully created! Yes, more please!
Definitely looking forward to seeing you style those special vintage dresses too!
Am I trippin' man? No,I'm in my Boho dream closet!!! Girl, I'm impressed!!!😍
I do enjoy seeing what other vintage resellers keep for themselves. Lovely closet and such great taste Laura!
I came of age in the 60’s so you are speaking my language. I love that you love what you do. Your personality shines in these videos. Thanks for sharing! The old Coach bag was when they rehabbed their old bags for free. I had one redone. Those were the days.
Wow I never knew they did that! ❤️
I love that you display your treasures in such an artistic way. Beautiful to look at and it reminds you of all the fun memories from your thrifting trips. Yes, please do more of these! Looking forward to your styling videos too!
As someone with a thrifted closet and home , I love seeing a fellow thrifters finds! Mad respect to you Laura 💞
That purse from Michelle is a cordé purse from the 1940s or so. They are usually black but did come in different colors like yours!
Thank you!!
Beat me to it. I love Corde, and multi coloured is particularly sought after ❤
Oh my gosh the cordé multicoloured purse!! As a cordé collector with a VERY limited budget I am very envious and excited for you Laura!
I love the way you use pretty crockery to hold necklaces, etc...
So happy that you shared your closet with us. You’ve styled it with so much character. Definitely goals for me.
Thank You for sharing your closet with us! It was awesome...don’t be nervous!! Your personality never comes across as BOASTFUL, only HELPFUL!!! 🤎🤎🤎
Oh my goodness, I love your closet! Absolutely beautiful
This was such a treat to see all of your amazing finds!!!
Thrift is life!
Yaasss 👏😊🖤
I love your style and I love your closet, this was great! I thrifted myself a gorgeous burnt orange corduroy coat tonight for $5.00 and a genuine Cole Hahn purse for $10.00 that retailed for $295.
Great finds!! 🙌
I njoy a mixvideo. Scenery of an area, the actual hunt, the vignettes and personal stories and tips.
Wait did you just say welcome to my closet bedroom. That is so awesome :)
Laura, You are such a sweet soul. I loved your closet, and I think it would be so much fun to see you style your outfits.👘👜👡👖🧣
WOW!!! Letting us in your closet is BRAVE... just know it’s appreciated very much + you have great stuff from boots to hairpin. Thank you. This was so much fun 👍❤️😎👏❣️🇨🇦🐈🐈👟👡👗👖👠🥻👘👛👜🎩🧢👒
Your zest for life and your thirst for knowledge brings so much joy to us, as your followers. You will always succeed as you are not afraid to approach an item and ask about it, no matter where you are. Love it!!!
House tours and showing stuff are my favorite
The green hat with the red cross on it has an emblem on the inside that looks like the same shape as the Salvation Army emblem. Your necklace holder that turns I think was originally used for men's ties.
I was thinking the same thing about the hat. It looks like it’s part of the women’s uniform.
Knights Templar ❤️
I would love to see more videos like this. I learn so much about decor, vintage finds and how to have great decor for discount prices, from you.
@@leftcoastrevivals oh it's okay, if the selection was better I wouldn't have room to store it all!
I love your voice, Laura! You speak as if always through a smile.
The Scottish pin is actually a Kilt pin... I used to have one, stamped with a Thistle design and the stone was a gorgeous golden Topaz..
🐼 Big Bear Hugs from a 67 yr old grandma in Kirby, Texas, USA 🐼l really enjoyed this peek.
* new
Stunning walk in closet. That's how it should be done. All beautifully displayed. It looks like a quaint boutique. Nothing to be afraid of. You did a lovely video.
Love, love , love your closet. Thank You for taking us on a tour. Really inspired by you
Brilliant - out of sight, out of mind, so display! Looking around my barndo as I type for how I can use that concept!!! I just love when you show up! It really does make my day! I think we all know you could never brag; you are so humble. Thanks for sharing!
Yes do it!! Once I started having fun with it I got really into displaying as much as I could 😄
Love your closet! Love your style! Thanks so much for sharing with us!
Love you closet its beautiful and you dont have to much. You work for it and you deserve it. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
