You can be happy anywhere, including Houston. A lot of people feel the same way as you do, wanting to travel, get away from daily life, and explore the world. Many people travel to Japan, Vietnam, and Korea to find adventure. When I traveled to Japan a few years ago, I met many people from Europe and Australia that were spending their "Gap Year" in Japan. They had just graduated from college, and wanted to spend 6 to 12 months to live in Japan, before they start their full-time career. You can find happiness where ever you go. i agree with you - happiness comes from within! i had a hard time finding it within the monotony of life in Houston for the first half of the year (alongside the sweltering heat), which is why I left. after this experience though, i feel emotionally and spiritually recharged/inspired and am ready to get back to creating more content! thanks for the comment and best wishes, very insightful!
