I wouldn't really call this a nerf to the A-10. We nerfed everything to fit more of a 60s style. Some people only have FC3 so we just left these in so people at the very least could play. We actually wanted to remove them entirely on the 60s scenario.
I mean the A-10A wasn't adopted into service until 1977, so in a 1960s based game it shouldn't be available. Same with SA-18s they weren't adopted until 1981.
Thanks for the credit on that hind kill, I saw the tracers and then saw you drop that big ole bomb on my base and decided to make a shot, i just got lucky with those ATGM's. Somehow even after I smacked you out of the sky with one, i turn around on a sherman and launch 3 at him, 2 of them missed and one of them finally got the sherman hahahahahah.
Well it's maybe not nerfed per se, but maybe we're just too good at dog fighting in it and embarrassing all those Fishbed and Mirage pilots :) ... I mean, they really think it's a free lunch, and they quickly find out when we have sidewinders that they need to pack a lunch lol. It does suck though having to drop all your ordnance because you have to defend waves of fighters coming in.
Did you hear that ED is adding three more planes to FC3 (F-86, MiG-15 and F-5E). On one hand it is nice....but on the other "Why the heck is no Warbird Package available?!"
Yeah, I'm glad the barrier to entry is being lowered, especially so folk can try out cold war but... Would have preferred warbirds and would have preferred new modules. So good news, but not the best news
Mavs are not needed at all on the '60s' scenarios. They did people a favor by removing that option. With the current loadout vs the soft groups on 60's, you can easily wipe 6-7 groups per trip if noone bothers you too much. An unmolested A10 with a frontline spawn is without doubt the biggest killer on ECW, more so than any chopper.
Nerfed is an understatement. . . .Neutered is more accurate. . .take the MAVs down to 4 or even 2. . . .unless you have active CAP its a coffin. . . . .
I think the logic is they don't really want the A10 on the 60s rotation, but so many people only have FC3 so this was a way to have it as an option, just a less good option. Meant to encourage folk to use other airframes
@@MDFire150 "nerfed" is a gaming term when a system is made less powerful. (Like a gun being replaced with a need gun). And no, the nosewheel on the A-10A works for me, it's just always on for me

Oh yeah, don't worry. I like the change in giving other modules some breathing room. As I said at the end, it's still potent, just needs CAP.

Exactly
Just a tad out numbered at the end.
Thank you for the VOD. 🥃🥃
14:26 you did it lmao I was in VC with that Hind he was elated to hit that shot!
Had to give the hind credit! Air to air hind kills are always impressive, doubly so with the atgm XD

Haha. The warthog is an easier target than the wiley Sherman!

mh why they removed the 9b's?

Sorry, not familiar with the term "nerfed"? Also, have you had any problem with nosewheel steering not working on the 10A in multiplayer?

Just nerf it altogether! A-10 and chopper pilots are weirdos!
Nobody wants the A-10. Not the Air Force, not Enigma...
