    Thanks, this presentation just re-energized me for wanting to dive deeper to understand the science of sound and to wrap my head around your plugins! I’ve owned monolith for years but never could wrap my head around it and this makes me want to give it another go lol.

    Do the same level plane "rules" apply to electronic club music - techno, house, electro etc?

      They apply to all sonic energy...regardless of genre.

    Re : Mix Monolith. Say you have occasional or sparse elements. Because they play less frequently, they will presumably read at a lower LUFS value. Wouldn't this mean they end up being too loud when matched? In other words, how does Mix Monolith handle intermittent silences?

      An element, no matter how short or sparse it is, won't "read" at a lower LUFS than it is...it is the LUFS it is, silence isn't read as silence is 0 LUFS.
