- There's A New Problem In Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel and Its not the brand new Super Heavy Samurai deck... Well it probably is but this video is about the Gold Pride cards so im gonna talk about them instead! Gold pride is a brand new deck in Yugioh MD and we are taking into ranked duels to see if leon can get some wins against the Yugioh meta!

I do prefer GX/Zexal/5Ds/Arc-V anime type stuff, but you make the competitive game interesting enough to make it worth it

Adamancipater is always a solid play in gold punk. Set up for the amazing dragon play on their turn is always huge. You were doing good keeping Leon Carrie and Roller around for their turn, that gives you your choice of interrupt options in Star Leon or Pin Baller.
I've been playing Adamancipator with a "small" SHS engine (Motorbike x3, Wakaushi x3, Big Benkei x2) and it's been going pretty well.
Sometimes people will scoop off of the Wakaushi, and getting Drolled on the Big Benkei (when you don't open Motorbike) doesn't do a whole lot to the Adamancipator portion of the deck.
Synchro 8 for Risen Dragite and set your scales, and you're off to the races.
what's the water you put in the grave?? Did I just miss it, or is Doto's deck not built for it?
@markgarr7836 captain carrie is a water along with rising carp. Doto may have miss played i honestly wasn't paying that close of attention.
@@mattelwood980 gotcha gotcha, he definitely summoned Dragite without having either of those in grave, then also chose not to summon Dragite when he DID have a water at least once 💀
@markgarr7836 I use it more as a funny optional line if I have the resources to pull it off as opposed to a major go to play. That extra negate is nice though

7:40 just a little tip, droll n lock bird can stop maxx c after they draw one card
i think it also stop his own maxx c so he wouldnt draw cards when Doto played maxx C and followed with bird
It indeed stops your own maxx c as well
@@ginggoldi1316I think OP was referring to Drolling the opponent's Maxx C on Doto's turn
It also stops your searches, usually that's not a good play

It’s funny Doto has played every deck that I’ve already played. Seeing him explain the deck then proceeding to read the card or misplay is hilarious to me.

Dangerous Gabu is basically a searchable imperm. Also you can summon it by first searching it off the jam dragon drive and then using the field spell's effect to summon it. You can just get rid of a ghost ogre and an imperm for it

19:07 dotto just as a tip, special Ze Amin, normal Wa Gon wouldve been better cause the field spell can banish foxy to special summon sharakusai anyways, meaning you get the plus one from searching shari AFTER you use Wa Gon, not only that but you can keep sharikusai on field and use the reborned level 3 from deer note to continue into the Gold Pride prtion by using hopefully a drawn GP monster and the roborned one to make charriot, sorry for the long note lol
I even have a replay or two i can make public for you to watch, im not the best P.U.N.K player but i do my best, aaaand Jam dragon can be ashed so id say dragon first deer notr second

@@breadking9013 for specifically nyan nyan you do have to order it the way he did, but if you're playing to search madame spider (or ghost ogre) instead you're right that deer note is better second

So, it’s not actually once per turn even tho it says that! We call it “soft OPT”, it’s once per turn for THAT INSTANCE of that card, so if he activates the new field, he can use it again.
“Hard once per turn” usually has the card’s name in it (so instead of “once per turn:”, you’ll see “you can only use this effect of ________ once per turn”)
TL;DR: if it says the name, hard OPT, if not it’s soft OPT
I got back into Master Duel two weeks ago and the first thing I did was work to make a Gold Pride P.U.N.K. Deck. For me, it's fun as hell to play.
It is really fun! I'm trying to make a card pile work using Six Samurai, Speedroid, P.U.N.K., and Gold Pride. It's actually doing pretty decent, despite it being a 60-card deck 😂😂
I'm looking to build Nemleria myself, love the theme. But I did get a Carrie royal, so maybe I'll give Gold Pride a shot.

Doto, remember to save Maxx C if you have the Droll since Droll goes both ways (you Drolled yourself and cannot draw from Maxx C the same turn). Other than that, well played man! Keep it up.
I especially liked the part when you drolled your own Maxx C. Not that Labrynth specials a lot turn 1, but immediately shutting down your own handtrap is big brain...

Draco Berserker of the Tenyi could be a good level 8 Synchro to slot in. Granted, I'm not familiar with Gold Pride and their extra deck space, so take that suggestion with a grain of salt. But quick effect banish on an enemy monster effect activation, two attacks on monsters per battle phase, and gains the original attack of destroyed monsters isn't bad.
Berserker is a great tech in this deck
Berserker is a good alternative to Dragite based on what you're up against. Good call!
Doto, Dangerous Gabu is a searchable imperm for the deck. You can end on it during the normal combo by using the effect of jam session to summon Madame. Jimmy (MasterDuelCentral) talked about it in his video but he just personally doesn’t prefer it because he runs Nyan Nyan (most people don’t run Nyan Nyan)
I gotta see the magnet warriors. They work great with adamancipaters!
P.U.N.K. Gold Pride and Vanquish Soul? I love seeing Doto trying out newer decks that are also competitive

I haven't played Yugioh since they added Pendulum Summon and I am _so befuddled by that combo in the first duel_ lmfao.
I always like going into Psychic End Punisher. Most people I've played have had trouble getting rid of it
I'm currently making Gold Pride actually, just finished Mannadium recently.

One tip: Instead of running NyanNyan you can run P.U.N.K Madame spider. She lowers your hp which gets your second draw from field spell and can add one of two P.U.N.K traps (Negate or pop)
Cool thing Doto is testing new cards that are not fully op but still can pack a punch in the current meta if you learn how to play them. Nice!

Just imagine how OP someone would be in Yugioh if they knew how to read!🤣 Also, I enjoyed the video. It was nice to see a new style of cards being played like that. The only thing I didn't enjoy was that all the opponents kept leaving. Like, take an L for a change. It's how you learn, not Oh, I can't beat this time to go and try a different opponent. Imagine that happening at your locals where someone is in the middle of their combo, and the person is like well, that's it, GG and gets up and walks away after you had to sit through their combos or fight like hell to stop theirs. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth when someone does that.

SHS isn't too big a problem and seems like it is the deck little jimmies turned to after Kashtira got hit. And Gold Pride isn't strong enough at the moment to be a top tier deck.

You now have me wondering if an Adamanipator/ Magnet Warrior deck would work. I have all the magnet warriors and I've tried using a deck of almost nothing but them and their support. It lacks negates and enough punch. So maybe 🤔 Adamacipators could help.

I love seeing you play the tier 2 and below decks! Having you do combos and interactions on you opponents turn lends itself to your energy super well

Don't you love it when there's a really cool and powerful new deck out and you're more interested in the goofy secondary archetype they put in the pack? This was me Ghoti came out around the same time as Tearlaments. Or when they put the new Abyss Actor support in the same pack as Bystials.

Honestly this was kind of miserable to watch. That second dual especially was just constant summoning, resommoning, and negation until the opponent conceded. Never even took any damage. The old style duals feel a lot more dynamic.
Okay man here me out play fortune fairy. You can play cool decks. And splice it with engines like spellbook or magician girls plus. With that rquip spell that (name od the arc v girls) you can summon spell casters and search a fusion spell at end phase for magicilize fusion and summon quintet

Just a bit of thought for 21:14 it doesn't hurt to send Nytro off of Chariots effect in situations where you've already searched Start Your Engines, because you'll always get access to a Carrie at the end of the turn. This allows you to summon back the Nytro off of Leons effect resulting in more card destruction off of Nytros Token (also helps play around Evenly Matched on their turn). Now you have 2+ pops (trap, Star Leon, and if your opponent doesn't read whatever cards are adjacent to the token) and can still suck up two monsters through roller ballers fusion.

5:18 I've seen people activate Deer Note's effect before Jam Dragon Drive for the Nyannyan combo, but it's never given me that option before. It always prompts the Jam Dragon Drive first. Is there a setting I can change or is it because I'm playing on a console?
Yes this is actually a setting you need to activate! I cant remember which one exactly but its like order of chains and it allows you to choose which you go with!
