Nandi hills situated at about 60 KMs from Bangalore is a perfect weekend drive to enjoy a beautiful Sunrise or Sunset. We also stayed overnight at Mayura Pine top. Checkout the video to know more about the stay and its benefits.
Checkin timing - 1:00 PM, also remember before 6 PM you must be at the top of Nandi Hills, beyond that they don't allow to enter.

Checkout the video to know the latest fare and entry restriction. The drive upto the Nandi hill top is very beautiful. You can see lot of rocks and serene green cover all through the drive. From the parking to the view point you will have to be taking a bus or walk about 2 KMS. Overall it is a very nice, serene and relaxing picnic spot for families to enjoy a nice weekend. You can also view sunset in the evening from the Nandi hill top. There is also KSTDC lodge - Mayura Pine top available for people who want to stay.

How much cost for one room
Had stayed a long time back -10 years ago ( was less than 500 rs bu was the older guesthouse) - great to see the latest updates - as has really gotten crowded would try a weekday overnight stay some time.. very informative and thanks for sharing - Harry from Bengaluru

March month is good to visit? What would be the cost of the room and is it good for family ?
Hill top is cooler than bangalore.. you can stay overnight in March as well.. For room rent check their official website to know the exact price for your date of stay…

Can we take bus from chikkalbalpur to nandi hills?
Which room number did you guys stayed in gandhi nilaya? What about the Sunrise view point room? Is it worth it?
We got a room on the first floor.. all the room have valley view in Gandhi Nilaya new block.. we did not book sunrise view point room.. we walked down in the morning to sunrise view point..
Since we were the first one’s to reach we stood at comfortable view point…
What we enjoyed is being able to watch sunset fully and enjoy the night view… it was very calm…

Yes you can roam around…
It was awesome! Is the stay inclusive of food or it is charged seperately?
Food is not included.. you will have to go to the restaurant 200 meters away from the room..
Check in is 1 :00 clock means can't we go after that??? At what time did you reach there???
You can check in any time.. but ensure to go before 5:45 PM.. because after 6 PM they won’t allow you to climb Nandi Hills.. you will get stopped at the check post below itself..

They allow unmarried couples too stay in room.
Better to directly contact them and check… every guest has to provide valid id proof beyond that I don’t think they check anything…
