A really cool Elden Ring challenge run i came up with, i though it was going to be a much bigger disaster but it turned into one of the most fun challenges!
And thanks to everyone that watches these videos, really appreciate it and its a huge honor to me :)

Charged spells take a fourth of the cost as well as getting a dmg increase, also some enemies in boss rooms have increased aggro range so u can use something like cannon of haima or an aoe spell to get their attention outside boss room and blast them at fog gate

That's what I thought Elden Ring was gonna be like but it ain't
Elden Ring was my first souls game, and didn't really struggle to much with hardly any of the bosses. Malenia was the only 1 that took more than a few tries for me. Build I was using wasn't working, so swapped to my previous Int/Dex build with Moonveil/Astel and she went down 1st attempt. Rest of the bosses were only 2-3 attempts max, mot of them 1st tries.
For me Elden Ring is like this even after having played Ds3 and Bloodborne a lot of times🤣, can't bring myself to enjoy it, just not for me
@@nael_luna Oh I'm enjoying the game, I still find it a bit of a challenge. I think it's just the build that I was using was doing so well with the damage output and survivability. Been testing out other builds, like my current black flame with Godlsayer Greatsword and Godskin Peeler which is a fun build. But in terms of my Int/Dex Spellsword build, it's just lacking. I'm sure if I want more of a challenge I could try other builds as well. My starting class was the Wretch on this character just for that reason.
Going from DS1 Ascended to this is like watching a DM get increasingly mad at the party not dying
That armor special effects thing reminded me of how armor works from the cinders mod for ds3 so I’m happy someone recreated it here
They do that in a ton of mods. Makes armors just much more interesting!

Toto, could you perhaps do a whip only run? I feel like they are the most overlooked wepon type in the game :)
Not really feeling that run. If there was a way to make that run harder maybe, but for now no.
12:00 I recommend storm stomp when you like heavy attacks. It staggers surprisingly many enemies long enough to get a charged heavy in. Not sure if the speed increase in ascended annulls that
Also, not sure Storm Stomp would do much against bosses...

@@jajasking9652 Watched a Ds no hit runner doing his first elden ring run. He was just like "imagine how hard this game will be to do with no hits", he quickly realized how easy it actually is compared to every other game, especially sekiro.

Funny idea for a challenge run: You must fight as your opponent, meaning is you fight a random enemy, you can only use their equipment, same with bosses, so if you were to fight renalla, you could only use her equipment and spells and attacks, so she would be a pain. You should probably start this on a NG+1, so you have all the weapons already.

Also, Stats can be whatever, and you can use any talismans.

So age of frenzy as van put it when i was talking to them(the creator of the mod is Vanbuinen) as the pinnacle of difficulty only beatable by true souls chads so i streamed it for hkm and a few others to watch on twitch. They say nobody has beaten placidusaxx so im trying another run just to kill the dragonlord.
Random thing i thought about, horse bosses need a glow up, they are ridiculously easy to beat.

Played the Ascended Mod - Age of Stars over my christmas holyday and actually managed to beat it. Took 165hrs in total, but it was the most rewarding feeling ever
Thats the problem with streaming it. Cause it takes so long i might just beat it off screen and make a video about it!

Im not gonna say this mod is balanced but when i played it you end up soooo broken strong that the end game doesnt feel nearly as bad as early game. Also abusing those triple projectiles is your best friend hahahaha

Does the affinity constantly appear on the weapon? Like was that first sword fire affinity and that’s why it looked as it did? Also, why the fuck was Kyle in the misbegotten fight?

Fire inflicting poison makes sense. It's like a burn status effect
Come to think of it, why is there not ignite status effect ( burn damage over time )
@@tototriceps maybe not a status effect but something more like the black flame. But instead of % damage, make it a set amount every tick (more or less based on the weapon's damage)
