- Today we're doing some world building, starting at one place, a little character, and fleshing him out with a bunch of little details about him. It's a fun little thing to do.

You know an awful lot about Barth. Are YOU the one who bugged Barth?
Jessie Nebulous Art no more questions or Peter will bug you👁👄👁
I have no idea why but your videos always inspire and motivate me
A F - Tony Robbins once made him a sandwich. That’s why.
cause hes amazing
Bautista Nicolas - it wasn’t so much the sandwich as the quote Tony shared that day:
“If you're a baker, making bread, you're a baker. If you make the best bread in the world, you're not an artist, but if you bake the bread in the gallery, you're an artist. So the context makes the difference.”.
The lesson was thus. Any fool can break the rules. To break them well, one must know them first.
Barth' s life is more interesting then mine
I think barf would disagree
*barth
@@powerpug964 "Barf, Puke, Whateva!" ~Pizza The Hutt
you're not the only one
If Peter would narrate your life it would be interesting too.
Peter: "you can see here the fork, the knife..."
Us: "and the spoon"
Peter: "...and the delp"
Us: "OH"
Of course
Favorite video by you so far, would love if this was a series
Dietrich Mischke I agree
Agreed
same
My dad used to have to sit on me when I got out of the bath to clip my moles I hated it so much. Now I just clip them for fun anytime Im stuck behind a lava flow going to slowly to do wheelies.
You could do this for three hours and I’d watch the whole thing
Should*
@@ASMRBoosters both
When he accidentally skipped the I in "technical" and squeezed it in.. I felt that.
I would like to know more about Kromus, the self-taught astronomer duck.
I bet Barth is in area 51, WE HAVE TO GET HIM OUT AND BACK TO HIS HOME.
"Alright welcome everybody. My name is 🅱️ E T E R."
does this ever get old?
how many times have you commented this lmao
@@timoakley5730 every video for a couple of months lmao, maybe a few gaps here and there
I don't get it.. :-\
@@Swiftwinter oof
No. It never gets old. I look for this comment every video.
The tooth shaving reminds me how beavers chew on wood to cut their teeth short since the just grow and grow. Imagine someone with bad hygiene- LOOOOng teeth, covered in moles, and no vitamin c means scurvy.
"Scurvy causes fatigue,
inflammation of the gums, small red or purple spots on the
skin, joint pain, poor wound healing, and corkscrew hairs.
Additional signs of scurvy include depression as well as swollen,
bleeding gums and loosening or loss of teeth. People with
scurvy can also develop anemia. Scurvy is fatal if it is not treated."
Banana butter sounds tasty

Hey Peter, im in a bit of a pickle, I need to do a paper on Jenkicomo and his travels throughout Kelpus-Felpus, but I cant seem to find any info on it, do you know anything on this topic?
On top of those beautiful illustrations, it was a beautiful delivery of Barths story!
Book recommendation for Sir Draws:
Surely you're joking, Mr feynman
Master Barth I'm sure would support this recommendation
I also recommend Dimension of miracles by Robert Schekly
I could also see him vibe well on any Terry Pratchett discworld novels. I feel like he thinks in a similarly out there creative way as Pratchett. I'm gonna check out y'alls recomendations myself cause ive been on a reading and audio book kick as of late and always have trouble finding something new.
Nice
I met this guy at the intergalactic milk bar, he likes bortorgh milks, I went with standard cat milk it was a fair dairy time.
its wild, i seriously love everything you've been creating this past year. i love the abstract pieces, the chill doodles, the extremely creative stories and illustrations. good job, man!
I wanna know more about my boy Ephretat the Crawling Hunger
You know, that's why i subscribed to your channel. Unique, mentally comfy and full os style. Peter, you and your channel are like a bright yellow tuxedo.
Have you heard the story of Barnaqus the Bold, bravest of the boulder barnacles? It's my favorite from among the bittersweet ballads of Bob the Bodacious, bard to the blue-bloods.
Toe to tip, that's a Barth!
"Just like Barth"
-Matt Groening, probably.
Your inspiring drawing plus a calm and low voice narration makes your every video unique! love your videos so much!
I want Peter to read me bedtime stories. I hope you'll do more of these. I haven't felt this relaxed and concentrated at the same time for a long while.
idk what it is about this video but every so often I’ll come back to rewatch it because it’s so relaxing and inspiring to me it’s amazing
Please do more of this!!!!!
Could you do more of these videos maybe different beings like if you made a series that would be good
George HT I completely agree, don’t think I’d ever get tired of it
Have you heard about what has happened to Jennie? She is this giant on some moon flying about in the cosmos, the gravity is low enough to allow for giants you see. She's gotten this strange infection and now a bunch of tiny plants and animals and fungi and things are living on her, in fact she is fairly certain there are a few medieval Kingdoms on her back. She is quite sad about all of this, on one hand she has had this itch on her ankle for a while now but on the other she doesn't want to kill any innocent creatures. Can you send some attention her way so that some super smart space scientists could help her with her problem?
This is so good... so soothing and so interesting! The art is wonderful, both the visual and the character design!
One thing I think is the most interesting about his homeworld of Hamtam is the seasons never change. Barth lives in a region most like spring and if he wanted to experience fall or winter hed have to travel a long way
"Lives in a Double Stacked Yert on Stilts", that says everything that we needed to know about Barth... Sadly I know people who are exactly like your little friend, and know just how difficult it is to be a friend of theirs.
I LOVE THIS VIDEO. it was so relaxing and it's nice to listen to while i am drawing. great job like always Peter!!
This is one of my favorite videos of yours after years of watching and enjoying. Thank you for all the motivation and keep on doing you
4:30 I find this part so funny, because the contrast between the fantasy world of Barth
and a normal thing for us such as youtube is so strong.
That's surprisingly beautiful, for something drawn on stick-pads, especially; much kudos for your work!!
I love how calm you make your videos sound. as well as making or showing great art .
this is honestly one of my favorite vids you've EVER done. barth sounds like a pretty rad dude!
Peter, this video was absolutely wonderful. I am mesmerized by Barth and his little world! Would love to see more like this in the future !
It is so refreshing to just sit down after doing my own admin work at home, grab a cup of coffee, and listen to your stories-( I live, Like Barth, where the tectonic plates move a lot, too.... waiting for the Big One to hit- in the Pacific NW), and watch your art videos- so inspiring... thank you so MUCH! You are a true blessing to so Many- Praying the Lord, Jesus Blesses you even More! I have your book, Dayfever and I LOVE it!
This is so amazing. You are doing everything I've wanted and planned to do for so long but just haven't had the time or motivation to start... Thank you, Peter, for inspiring me and motivating me for so over 6 years now
I'm going through your videos, grabbing bits and pieces to sample for your episode of my podcast and I came across this one. Absolutely brilliant! So much fun, I love it!
Probably my fav video so far, would love for this to be a series!
That was awesome to watch. Really detailed information that makes the video fun and interesting
More of this sort of thing please! This along with the spaceship video was fantastic :)

Loved this video and love your work, keep doin your best :)
I loved this. Much love.
i just bought 5 mechanical pencils as im hooked on drawing like you. my minds just been blown away with all about barth.
Gosh, the creativity of Peter is insane.
Barth seems like an amazing creature id spend the rest of my days with. Every morning id help him shave his teeth, maybe even use his tooth jar as an instrument to play along with him whilst he practices. Moles are the least of my worries, all good bartholomeow have some variety of moles growing on their backs. I’d love to support barth on his future endeavors and goals
Yes, absolutely, more of this please.
You're amazing bro! Thanks for being you!
Amazing absolutely amazing !
Very creative. Well done Peter :)
Teach me about the wisdom of the water nomads

This was actually really interesting. I love this!

These short-storie sketches are awesome, keep up the good work
This is my new fave vid 🙌🏼
I love this and it's so relaxing
So much fun to watch
This was awesome !
This would be a great idea for a graphic novel. I love the way you incorporate your everyday life to help develop the story. Totally awesome and inspiring.
A very cool exercise, loved It
This is awesome!
I could use that tooth file lol... I LOVE the narrative and depth of the lifestyle of this life form! Thank you Peter, I love the calming videos you make while you doodle!
I love this idea! very fun!
What a fun little trip, thanks. Peter Post Its
I loved this, more like this please

This is SO cool!
I now adore Barth. Well done Peter
This is awesome.
That was very interesting and I learnt a lot of new things about a new culture the universe is amazing place
Incredible.
Absolutely brilliant, really enjoyed this. Maybe you can tell us a bit about Taco Zip from planet Smurk?
I love this!
Thank you my dude
i know im a little late but this is my favorite video on the planet ever I love it so so much
This was really enjoyable
You’re blessed brother, i can draw and paint too but my imagination is lacking, it’s the story telling that would really help me but i find my mind only enters that mode at times of the day when I can’t just stop and do art, very aggravating
Thank you for telling me all about barth
On post it notes!!! Love your little guy
dude this is beautiful
found it cool how this world was beautifully condensed into a pack of sticky notes. I especially like the kitchen of Barth's house since the hole to let steam out is like a teepee.
I love this! 👍😁🎉
I love the way your mind goes Peter! And your silly sense of humor. I need you as my chief game designer for world building lol.
Please consider adapting this into a comic book. Your world building is incredible. Thank you for sharing your beautiful artistic talent with us.
This is so creative
That was so cool.
this video was a very surreal experience for me
