That squirrel was definitely right. It will be OK... mostly. You're a great artist and seem to be a good person, Peter. I've been making a living as an artist, designer and printer for 30 years and have been watching your videos for several years now. They inspire me to create for myself and draw for fun instead for work. It doesn't mean you can't have fun making a living creating art. Just be careful to maintain a balance between personal projects and work projects. I am not one to give advice, but I can say this... take your breaks... often! When you start creating for work, pretty soon the passion projects and making time for creating art for yourself gets fewer and farther between. One day you can't remember the last time you sketched in your sketchbook.. Don't feel obligated to create content for the sake of maintaining a subscriber count. It is you and your honesty that will keep your audience growing... not just the drawings. As an artist, I watch to be reminded why I fell in love with art to begin with and know that it would be impossible for me to keep my art entertaining enough for the world to see on a weekly basis. Keep doing what you do... even if the videos take longer to make, I am here for it.

The face on the left about half down reminds me of some of the carvings I saw at Chichen Itza. The artwork there, carvings, were sooo awesome! I have missed seeing you here, glad to see you're back. I don't have any memories prior to my accident in '95, so it's weird.

I believe that we all are in motion either advancing or falling behind, depending upon how we feel and if we are doing well or poorly. I have every belief that you have NOT lost any “mojo” and it the the constant restructuring of UA-cam and their desire to squeeze every dime out of creators and pay less for it! This leads to people leaving the platform. Creators as well as viewers! I was so sure that when you topped 900k 1 million subscribers was just around the corner! Yet you have hovered around this point for a while now. I believe that if you wanted it more you could make it happen, yet I have never been convinced that it really matters to you. (DRAWING)" and maybe that would get more people to watch? a lot of youtube has to do with the title and thumbnail, most of the time just the title or text in the thumbnail :')

Peter I am new to your channel, but I've been an artist and teacher for about 20 years, and all I can tell you is that no matter how much you love something, you have to take a break from it now and then. It's good for the brain. If you keep using the same muscles over and over, they get tired and damaged. The brain muscle is the same. Your trip to Italy will help you see things differently and your mojo will still be here when you come back - and so will we! You are an awesome individual. Yeah that would be awesome to see king gizzard in Italy, unfortunately it looks like that’s a Tuesday, and we have class Mon-Thurs so our adventures out of the city mostly have to be on the weekend I think. Although I guess Milan is only like 2 hours away via train. Anyways I have tickets for a KG concert back in the states in August, so I won’t miss them completely

I'm mostly into digital art but you were the reason I got into drawing with fountain pens. I do my serious work digitally but I actually think I enjoy drawing with pen more. So thank you for that!

Thank you for sharing Peter! Wow! I think if someone will find your manuscript in a 1000 years from now, it will be like a new woynich, somebody will try to decrypt your writings. Great drawing as usual. I wonder if you already know the outcome or if you decide it while drawing or if you are doing random doodles until the end. Anyway the result is always a pleasure to the eyes.
