That’s a C Sharp on chord, not a D Major. The root is on the 4th fret of the A string(C#). Am I missing something?

ik im three years late but im confused at 1:56 he says a dmaj chord but he instead does a bar chord?? am i dumb i thought the dmaj chord was like a three fingered chord not a bar chord.. can someone please explain im so confused😭

Anything you play on electric (not counting heavy effects) can also be played on acoustic!
@@jeremym4551 My fingers aren't strong enough to pull off tapping or large bends on an acoustic :), but otherwise, totally agree. An acoustic is more versatile than a hardtail electric played only clean for sure.

When he is explaining the rhythm chords in the beginning, the last chord is an actually a D flat major… not a D major as he says. (I sadly even wrote out the F# major scale to check 😂)
