OK. This was filmed two days after first attempt and after this we really realized that CG is way off and that was one big reason for not be able to fly this plane. We will not give up no matter what, I will fly or totaly crash this plane with two motors. I want to fly it with two motors or nothing ;-) Ofcourse I will find new CG way more to the front, I will re check motor angles, reduce throws and maybe put in the reciever with gyro just in case. To tell you the truth we cant wait to film it again ;-) I wish you all great weekend and happy landings. Dont forget to click on something becouse this is the best hobby in the world. Pilot Robert

They say any landing you walk away from is a good landing. I am glad to know Captain Blaz could walk away from that one and was ok.
Sometimes you can't predict what happens on maidens.
Sometimes hand throw glide tests can show obvious CG issues. Although with this plane, you probably need higher speeds for it to glide.
Try extreme forward CG first than work back from there. I have a feeling that the acceptable cg zone is very narrow on this plane. Maybe even +/- 2.5 cm are extremes.

ouch...that was a close call, but you have to admit it was funny :D , ...and yes, my idea exactly, thats why i put in landing gear into my Aggressor :), cool video guys.
Funny but waste of time. I will fix it again for 3 attempt.
The new elevator is mounted with. Up in it if it was mounted dead straight you would have had a chance . bet you didn 't remove the downthrust. And take out the right thrust also. The plane trim showed that the downthrust effected wing incident to climb to. Hard . hold the prop to 90 degrees to horizon. And when it held vertically you look at the angle of the leadind edge . it will be facing up . that is why you trims were about 8mm of down to correct it. The forward swept wing give you the stall is at the root and the tips are always active. Take that elevator off it's too short coupled. Plus it is not needed. This plane will fly verywell when you take out the two angles that are ment a single frontmounted engine. At most I would do 1 to 2 degrees. Toe in to middle. And measure (cg) at the tips make a mark on the fuselage for that point . halfway between these two points should give you a good starting point. And cut throw on elevator by 15 to 20 % less throw. Good luck you will have to move the battery forward this will help.
You almost hit the G spot, lol. Beautiful mod, but you made too much mods in one time. Get the thrust angle of the motors 2 or 3 degrees down that will fix it. Just fantastic love the video.

I think if I were you I'd quit layin awake at night for at least a week. Give the grey matter time to heal like Blaz's G spot. Keep the faith and never forget the Wright Brothers won the war. Iam all again in this plane my friend preparing it for third flight. But this time I will think good how to launch it.
Good captain Blaz survived! Try to put a EDF unit with some good thrust in the back, Then you dont have to be worried about the propeller hit your hand?? But maybe your battery space is to small for such an amp "sucker" solutions....hmm.
Not easy but fun to research! Or you have another plane with som simular solution (A-10?) By the way you might have to much up on the elevater too, or dont`t push so much elevator up when BLAZ throws it?? But on the next put an armor on Captain Blaz, lol. Keep on trying, this is entertaining! Salute from Norway...and hug lol.
I have one rerady with EDF units on. But I wanted to fly this one first. I really wonder also now about EDF version.

I cannot remember laughing as much watching you two with this launch, typical brother saying, when Blaz released the plane and it looped around and hit him, Captain Robert says, it wasn't that bad. I would love to see you try a different CG - both flights really seemed tail heavy and sometimes the CG on these planes from banggood is not exactly right..
i agree, and by the way the manufacturers CoG on this bird is spot on, i have the same model, it even has moulded in CG marks on the underside of the wing, and it flys very nice ,and i also fly mine with twin motors aswell, from what i saw i would say their CoG was a bit of, and flying wings react very badly on aft CGs.
I will do that for round three.

Forget this elevator! It’s all about CG and trim (and trows), they are vital for flying wings! As many fellow pilots said in the comments, the plane was just tail heavy on the maiden flight, but you were close! Go two steps back, shift the CG a bit more to the front, and fly it with low rates. Stay with the twin motor configuration, imho this is more stable than a pusher configuration. Good luck!
my idea exactly, by the way, my own agrressor flys very nice with the twin motor setup, and the manufacturer CoG is spot on.

This had me rolling. Glad Captain Blaz is alright. Same thing happened to my cousin, except when he threw his flying wing it did the same exact loop and hit him square in the lower back. He's the macho man type and played it off like it didn't hurt, but I know it had to have. I could tell by the solid thump sound it made when it nailed his back. Good times.

I have to quit watching your videos when I first get up in the morning. I start laughing my ass off and end up waking up my wife who thinks that I am having a medical emergency. Capt. Robert, I do sincerely appreciate your tenacity and your willingness to spend the time performing a major re-design to get this bird into the air. I recommend that the next person who hand tosses for you (surely Captain Blaz is not going to do a third hand toss!) should be given some kind of suit of armouar to assure that they can survive the launch effort. I would suggest carefully checking the "angle of the dangle" on this plane before launching it again. Good luck!!!!

Ok I have two F-27 Evolutions from HH and it has a pusher prop in middle of rear. I glued wings on so that on 4S 2200 they dont blow off. Important to NOTE- I launch on low rates with safe select on and AS3X too buy I LAUNCH HANGING ONTO THE END OF ONE OF THE WINGS LIKE A BOOMERANG SWEEPING MOTION and it works very well and is safely away from prop!!!!! i agree with other enthusiasts put battery forward more lower the rates and throws on all movements and only use 50% of throttle too much torque on climb out at launch helps it go like tail heavy. Next time launch like a boomerang by holding the end of wing and good luck! Keep trying guys !!!!! P.S so glad Capt Blaz was not hurt as that would really suck big time! Again was funny as hell guys!!!!

Man down ! When the plane came out of the loop still under full power , I knew it was curtains for poor Capt. Blaz . After the loop , the plane struck him from behind . Capt. Blaz should be promoted to the rank of major for such bravery and sacrifice . Funny as Hell .

Remove that extra add on elevator and move your CG forward of the wing a little because the fuselage is also a wing
