ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Toad was always my favorite brotherhood member. My favorite iteration of him was from X-Men Evolution, I miss that show, dude was hilarious from what I remember.
He was Also the Only Character with his own lyric theme song

Look at the mini toads, actually 2 different sculpts! And same Shart. Some wanted a more first appearance pudgy Toad, but I love the 90s look. Incredibly fun posing this guy!!
Honestly, I don’t see why people are freaking out about having legends still with pins in them honestly as a customizer I very much appreciate that it helps me swap out parts and inner change pegs if they are broken.
This is exactly my view on it. As a customizer, pinless actually sucks.
Pinless tech is the death of customizers! Hate having to grind through elbow crevices 🤦🏿♂️

@@KingPrintmaker that’s true but here’s the problem say if it’s been less and you’ve been the figure back only to figure out that the figure is stuck you move the joint back and then all of a sudden snap the figure is broken. I got a Vulcan figure, that was painless. I move the arms and they snapped, same thing with the new black panther figure. I move the leg back and it’s snap. I even tried the hot and cold air technique and the hot and cold water. It ended up breaking all the same. I know people don’t like the pins. Yes it’s outdated but if you’re a customizer that knows how to disassemble figures and knowing how to put the pins back, you could take a broken marvel legend figure use its spare parts to fix your legend. But that’s just my opinion.

I would think They would tool him onto the OMega red/venom buck, but an all new pinless Sabretooth would be amazing if the proportions were right, and they need to nail a headsculpt for him

I was happy when this was announced but I've never really collected the Marvel Legends X-Men figures. I was recently doing a bit of Christmas shopping in GAME (UK's version of Gamestop I guess) and I actually saw this figure on the shelf... going for £7... I had to get it, and now I gotta start collecting the X-Men figures, it's a nice problem to have 😅
He may not be the the old classic 1960s Toad, But to be totally honest, It's awesome to finally have a freakin Toad because he is way over due and today is my birthday which I am 18 yeas old going to a movie with my friends, Amazing review on this new updated Toad Shartimus because he does look goofy and crazy.

Personally I prefer how the new blob looks because it’s more round and bulbous than the bumpy look from the og baf. It reminds me a lot of the old toybiz figure with the rubber belly and turkey leg
This Figure kicks ass!!!! I absolutely love him!!! I give him a SUD rating of DIIIIYYYAHHAHAHAH IT’S SOOO AWWWEEEESSSSOOOMMMEEEEE!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!! The Blob from 2007 does look better in terms of sculpt, but I don't have a choice, I have to get the new one. I rank the wave this way...

Face sculpt looks the same in comparison if you have the Spider-Man figure I'm talking about. Not taking anything away from the figure itself it's a really good figure and I totally dig it.
The title of this video is purely click bait. I don't get why everyone is so down on Marvel Legends lately, they're a bit more expensive, but so is everything, and the figures coming up in 2023 are unbelievably cool. This figure is amazing, along with the other three Toybiz 20th anniversary figures. The first marvel legends toad figure looked like someone made it out of silly puddy, and painted it with their finger, and we haven't had one since.

I think for the High price on this figure that Toad should've came with some rubbery slime to throw on his enemies like the green slime that came with the X-Men movie Ray Park Toad Figure.

Gollum's hit rock bottom since losing the One Ring. Dressing like 90's Leo DiCaprio at a Renaissance Fair, with some Bubble Tape in his mouth.
Its not a $33 figure, but it's a fun figure if gotten on sale. It needed hinged toes though.
Not a bad figure. Not as paunchy as the Comics Toad. I actually prefer a more lean Toad. I really wanted him for my Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. And since Magneto is a far more sympathetic figure, and all around nicer person, he'll treat Toad good this time around.
It's disappointing so far that the only Marvel Legends Mastermind (to complete the original Brotherhood) is exclusive to the Hellfire Club boxset.
I have that set, but I have Mastermind in the Hellfire Club now. I have a rather large Hellfire Club with lots of Fudging.

Dorian Grey from Penny Dreadful line to expand my 'Inner Circle'. A 200 year old man can accumulate a lot of wealth and power, and he's dressed Victorian, was like $5, so why not.
7 Guards, all I could get. But the Hellfire Club doesn't regularly fight SHIELD, or the Avengers, rarely even fight the X-Men and also have 4 Reivers, I figure there's enough of them.
Mastermind is actually in the Wolverine box set. Hellfire Club set was Sebastian Shaw, Jean as Black Queen, Emma as White Queen, and Donald Pierce. Wolverine set is still available at some places. But you can't really build Original Brotherhood since Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are Avengers. I suppose you could, throw Polaris in too even. I don't care what Marvel is now saying, I'm going to continue with Magneto as their father! Simply makes more sense than the Crap Marvel has been putting out the last few years!
We also need more interaction between Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Polaris, who is their sister! LOL
@@bladestar2322 Yes, that's correct. I confused the box sets because Mastermind is in his default Jason Wyngarde guise in the Wolverine set. Which he never uses again, outside of when he joined the Hellfire club. Even that team is incomplete. As I highly doubt Hasbro will be quick to bring out a Harry Leland figure.

The old blob just just doesn't match the aesthetic appeal of marvel legends of the last ten years!! I had a chance tu I grab one for 60 bucks like 2 years ago and I passed!!! Its not bad, it just doesn't work with newer collections!!!!🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Why with the tongue head? I mean correct me if I'm wrong but all that tongue stuff didn't come into play until the stupid movies. So why do we have a head sculpt of a character in an era using a power he didn't have?
