Dead End: Paranormal Park is a fun animated show with a trans guy. Veneno is a show that means a lot to me, trans people were involved in every department of the the creation of the show.
Nimona is my most favorite trans representation in media ever. It's never explicitly stated that Nimona is trans, but it is embedded in character development. Plus, there are trans clues everywhere in the background if you look close enough. Nimona is pure gender gremlin energy, and I love it. I cannot recommend it enough.
Damn you just gave me hope again when I waa about to loose it. Biiiig thanks man. Love from a young trans woman living far away. Also your music slaps so hard.
omg poussey was also my favorite i could relate so much to them bc also i felt while they were more masculine they were also really soft and loving in their character
Dude i love your videos, seeing you talk with so much confidence and fun really helps me find levity in my own trans experience. I love hearing about how some of these shows exposed you to the idea of being trans and how it helped you to establish your own perception of yourself based on these depictions. I'm pretty early in identifying myself as a trans woman, and honestly based on the advice of my therapist I started watching shows with trans characters and it truly helped me find confidence by seeing fully realised trans people on screen. I'm definitely gonna check out a lot of these shows you talked about, I'm recognising how personally meaningful having trans representation in media is to my own confidence.
I fucking love this channel already, I just found you, probably my new fav youtuber and easily my fav transmasc youtuber. As a trans girl there's something different about hearing all this from someone who's pretty far along in their transition, you're like wise as hell it's crazy. Also trans men have never not had my back as a trans girl, realest fucking people on earth. Love you and please keep it up, I need more shit like this. Maybe a video about how to update your wardrobe during your transition? or honestly just tell us a story or something.
Would love to hear about any examples of masculinity in media or anywhere that have inspired you! The show Our Flag Means Death really reminded me of how being a man doesn't have to look one way. There's tons of queer characters and men who have feminine traits but are still men which has been so important for me (plus a non binary character too ayyy)
tbh I forgot why I subscribed to you, I saw the thumbnail said ''wow what a hot guy'' and I clicked
same 😭😭😭
That backdrop is MAJESTIC ✨
