i hate when im shooting someone thats standing still and soe random guy runs past and it follows him
some*
+viligentwarriorest ikr that shit is really annoying
+viligentwarriorest Agreed. I am not completely opposed to aim assist, but I wish there were some kind of slider where you could turn down how strongly it pulls your crosshairs. That shit has gotten me killed more times than I can count.
Vince Vandal The slider thing is a great idea i wish they would add that in the game.
+Dillon Turner Yeah that was annoying but I turned it off recently and I feel I play better with it off, maybe you guys should try without it just to see how it impacts you.
THIS. MORE OF THIS! just straight to the point. no intro or introduction bollox just straight to thesubject of the video. i dont know who you are youtuber. but keep up the good work.
He has great content! :) I already subscribed!
+Darkghost_ I don't mind an intro. as long as its not freaking long. some people make them so long you can skip half way through the video and then you finally get to the point you came for in the first place.
it's not wrong or cheating to use aim assist on consoles, but I do love when console gamers try to say that there is no aim assist. and it's even funnier when they try to tell you that a controller is more accurate than a mouse.
yeah lol, mouse is way accurate and this coming from a console player.
coming from a console player means your biased to side with controller......... That bit of information made you look worse not better. I ain't going to argue with u about target assist I am just giving you a heads up.
Who cares who plays on what? Game on.🤦🏽♂️
@A G people have preferences, thats why multiple pro players use controller whatever feels better for them thats whet they’ll use.
Is it just me or can the aim assist really throw you off in this game? Sometimes I aim at an enemy, he disappears around the corner, and although I cant see him on my screen anymore the aim assist really messes up my aim and pulls my crosshairs massively to the left or right.
I've had that happen. it will track them through the wall or whatever they go around for a short distance
Its really annoying and sometimes has a mind of its own
+The Greatmagic Yeah, it's definitely hit and miss. I especially hate it if I'm shooting someone, and the aim assist is trying to make me shoot the other guy behind him. So rather than getting 1 kill, I end up with 0. But there are also situations where I have my sights aimed down while checking corners and windows, and out of nowhere it pushes my gun towards an HC-XD so I can destroy it with ease. Pretty weird.
Or when theirs like 2 guys one his jumping in mid air and he other is on the ground and your aim goes to shit.
sometimes if I am shooting an enemy, another enemy will run past him, and it'll goof up my target assist, and I'll die (I hate when this happens)
One last comment. Your getting aim assist through walls is likely due to poor connections (most likely your enemy's connection). Your enemy is lagging ahead of his player model and you're getting aim assist over a hitbox that you can't see, but is actually already past the cover :)
Wut?
+TSx92 Enemies running in to cover can also cause a similar effect.
+TSx92 i can see enemy's name through walls sometimes and I just snipe them.
No, when running you lag behind the model
This is false. Target assist does work through walls, the connection is pretty irrelevant
You help a lot with ur great videos, ur my favourite bo3 youtuber
man , you are the best gamer on youtube. i hardly leave any comment at any gaming channel because mostly they are trying to be funny to get as much views but you ..... you get deep into the game and make it worth my time to see someone else playing. thanks man you help alot
You're killing it with these videos. It's great to hear a normal voice giving sound explanations about the underpinnings on the game. Keep em comin.
Pistols? Did you forget to do them or do they not have any aim assist
they have AIM Assist
+Fonaldozero that didn't answer his question and he meant TARGET assist you ass.
+zac paton lol
zac paton you are more salty than sea salt (never tasted you)
This game has way too much aim assist. It's so strong that sometimes it pulls me off target.
Tomoe Yukishiro there is not aim assist
@@jeffrickman9941 dumbass
Ive been playing this series since COD4.. and I have never seen any other commentator point out how aim assist stops when you stop moving your feet. Keep up the great work!
Just wanted to drop a thanks for making videos like these. You cover a lot of topics that the more popular UA-camrs don't and these are super informative and helpful.
does anyone else get the thing where it pulls you off a target? Especially when there is multiple people? Or sometimes it just makes you aim 20 feet in another direction of your target
Ace, could you make a video on how to counter people who kill you right after you spawn?
Thank you Ace.
Awesome video and research data as always, I can only imagine the time and effort that goes into testing all these individual guns/variables/ranges etc.
Just wanted to let you know how much I always appreciate your work man.
I love how every piece of information is laid on the table clearlyyy *.*
So you don't get any target assist when you're camping?
That's perfect!
are the xmas noobs here yet? i want to be able to go even in this game
You are the xmas noob lol
deadparachuteman Hey, Halo and Destiny got me used to dying slow >.
I am also a halo transfer. halo 5 looked and appears to be awful in every regard. no fun whatsoever. so I, for the first time ever, am playing a cod game. it is fun but it takes so much learning the different mechanics than halo. I have to break my 15 years of halo habits to play cod for the first time.
+CarbonChaotic I honestly am not a fan of playing cod games for a long time until Bo3. I usually only played battlefield destiny and halo reach for a long period of time. COD gets boring really easy until I played BO2 which I was still only prestige 4~. Destiny just changed in meta to hand cannons. But in Bo3 I got my nuclear 36/0 against christmas noobs. I'm not sure about you but me making the change from those games to cod is starting to be alot more fun for the current games people play on console
+Potaishee yup 40+ every game :9
Just got to say I love your channel, all your series you do and now finally aim assist explained!! Have been wondering about aim assist for ages and havnt found much of an explanation . Keep up the good work mate!!
I like how u get straight to the point in your videos. Also thank for keeping these videos up I just started playing fps games so I'm a noob, I can barely pull 16 kills and these videos have been a big help.
lol the pic of the magnet comin straight outta toontown
I remember those days they took down toon town for some reason. I tried getting on it a few days ago because it was honestly fun
LoneWolf Playz www.toontownrewritten.com/ The fanmade website, membership is free and works like the original :D
I don't care about aim assist being on console but I wish it wasn't there for controller players on PC.
AA makes argus in PC way too op
so there is no way to turn it off? shit is driving me nuts haha
I love your videos. These kinds of vids really make you think about all the stuff going on during a "simple" game of Call of Duty. It's actually pretty amazing to think about.
that's a very thorough analysis, well done man.
Aim assist should be removed from the most part in my opinion. Nothing pisses me off more than winning a gun fight, especially a difficult one, and then dying because my magnetic force field of an auto aim decides to redirect my aim at the now closest enemy. Very annoying and very frustrating
Turn it off lol
Cant be removed, it is necessary for most of the games in console that works with a raycast system to shot-reg hits.
Joysticks have their limitations. and aim assist is beyond what is shown in this video.
aim assist/target assist has no place in any first person shooter. console or pc.
if u remove console aim assist, you'll break the game since everyone will be using easy to aim guns like shotguns
You can tell that you work hard on these videos. Nice job!
Good coverage and quality of you knowledge/breakdown of the game and gaming mechanics man, I just started following you about two weeks ago or so and I appreciate all the effort your putting into your videos. Keep up the grind
i hate console wars and pc elitism, play what you want to play
and let the words fall out. honestly I want to see you be brave
+Connor Gardner lol I would sing along but i dont want to
I play it on PC and gotta say, TARGET assist is VERY annoying, cracks up the game balance.
On the past two months, I've seen lots of players suddenly using controllers just for the Aim Assist, because it really turn the balance on their favor.
Just to clarify, I had played the previous CODs on x360, from MW2, to BO1, to BO2, and it's perfecly fine on consoles because everybody is using it, so it's an even match, and when you get used to aim with the controller and find a perfect sensibility, you only disadvantage to a keyboard/mouse combo is the turn around speed.
Now, I got BO3 on PC and had to relearn how to play on keyboard/mouse, and it's REALLY hard on this fast paced game, the respawn gets crazy sometimes, there's the specialist abilities, and the tiny maps like nuketown and combine, that there's so much going on....
It's hard to be really accurate with all of this going on, and there's things like mouse acc., mouse lag, that makes it harder to be precise.
When you put a player with the same skills/game time as I have, but with the controller, he gets the advantage all the times, just because the aim assist is really helping him on most situations (when there's an enemy using a headglitch and you gotta strafe-aim, for example).
Target assist is very OverPowered on PC, speccialy with SMGs (hip-fire/stock - strafe) and with Shotguns (hip-fire), as it is not an even match...
I always felt like my ADS drag scoping speed was fast with the thermal, and now I know why! Thanks for the info Ace, I noticed the lack of slowdown in the first week when I tried completely the attachment challenges for the thermal sight
great video ace. when I'm not in a rush to get into a match I like to warm up with no aim assist. sometimes helps me and teaches me to center properly. thanks for the vids Ace.
here on PC we don't rely on aim assist
+O.J. Games Not with a mouse that has way more range of motion but as soon as you plug a controller in you do...
+Thanis Murugathas yea
tbh I just posted this b4 I watched it
Kek
+O.J. Games This guy thinks he's cool because he doesn't use aim assist, little does he know that he is nothing special "kek" go back to /r/4chan
I don't like aim assist when I use it I feel like I'm cheating do u think it is or isn't
Playing the game in the way that the developers clearly intend for you to play it (target assist is always on by default when using a controller) can't be considered cheating.
+TheXclusiveAce that's tru, ok thank you
+TheXclusiveAce also do u think that it's possible to get good without aim assist?
+JoJo Games I don't use aim or target assist and my accuracy is my advantage against almost any opponent
Your channel has grown so much since I first subbed! I'm glad to see all of your hard work paying off! Keep up the amazing work! :D Quality content!
Thank you very much i can see that this must have taken a lot of effort and i really appreciate all if it. keep up the good work
Today I watched an video from the beginning of bo3 from you. (Get a higher K/D) you Said you will make a Series about the spawns on the Single Maps what about this Series? Sry for my english my autocorrecture is German cause I am German so it changes many words
+Moritz Hessz Soon, I haven't had much extra time to put into a series like that lately
+TheXclusiveAce no Problem I understand this
Hardware limitations?? I don't see rainbow six siege using needing aim assist on consoles
+F u G u TV R6S is a totally different style of game. Gunfights are typically within the same room and the pacing is completely different. The developers made a choice to not have aim assist for their game and that's how they intend for it to be played. CoD developers decided they want aim assist in their game due to the nature of the engagements as well as the pacing of the game. Their game is intended to be played with aim assist when using a controller.
+TheXclusiveAce but you stated it was because of hardware limitations now its because of the pace of the game?
+F u G u TV It's hardware limitations for the intended pace of the game and the nature of the engagements. You aren't extremely limited without aim assist on console if most of your gunfights are within 5-10m but you are limited when your gunfights are often 30+m and the enemy is just a few pixels on the screen. You also have to take movement into account. Do you see people thrusting all over the place and strafing at extreme speeds with R6S?
+TheXclusiveAce +TheXclusiveAce I'll agree with most of that, apart from the last but ,RS depends of the player, I'll be strafing at speed and moving quick due to the light armoured operators that I use as I don't like people having easy shots. The game play is not that much different as this and the last cod is the only ones with jumping before the last two they are non jumping games still with auto aim. On rainbow it is very similar with the light weight operatives.
+F u G u TV Lol, Rekt.
Dude, your videos are awesome! Great channel! Thank you for the great content!
Thanx for your videos, you really are doing a great job!
Cheers, the doc...
So, would it be safe to say aim assist is "cheating" since the game is "helping" you "win"? ""
+Rogue_Sorcery Cheating was probably the wrong term to use. Perhaps cheap is what I initially meant. Yeah, I have it turned off. I'm also quite terrible at multiplayer (more of a zombie/campaign player), still haven't made 1st place in any match lol. It just never sat well with me that a mechanic makes it easier to kill (granted some people say it will mess them up sometimes). Kind of like auto combos in fighters. It's in the game to make it easier for noobs but is looked down upon by "gud" players. Then again this is cod so I feel like playing fairly with my own skill versus aim assisted mechanic players (with considerable skill) is like getting mad that fire burned me haha.
+Anthony Garcia Is using your mini map cheating/cheap? It's a feature in the game that everyone has access to and it's helping you win.
+TheXclusiveAce Really dude? You're missing my point. I talked about aim assist and compared it to auto combos in fighters. Just about the same concept. I feel like that comment was either a troll attempt to condescend or a legit question which was still was condescending. I'm not bashing, just questioning. Like I said, I'm already trash at multiplayer. I guess being humble and questioning things is frowned upon.
+Anthony Garcia Not a troll attempt at all. I didn't see your second comment regarding fighting games. I was simply referring to the original comment and trying to point out a flaw in that logic. Something that's intentionally placed in the game that everyone has access to and helps you win is not cheating.
+TheXclusiveAce I realize I'll always be wrong in this conversation. I just feel like the mini map compared to aim assist is comparing apples to oranges. I see your generalization though and it makes sense in its own right but let me ask you... why do you use aim assist? Is it harder to play without it? No disrespect is meant just a question.
we, pc gamers, call this cheating.
Alex Marczuk we, console players, call keyboard & mouse CHEATING
A mouse is also way more accurate than an analog stick
Relytxz HD that's why keyboard & mouse have no target assist
Call Duty exactly
You didn't watch the video, so you obviously don't know what you're talking about. You guys have the advantage when it comes to accuracy. The game devs included target assist because controller users lack the range of motion (and hence accuracy) allowed by the hardware in question. As the OP mentioned THROUGHOUT the video, target assist still REQUIRE the player to aim and position themselves accordingly. Target assist won't move the aim for the player. That's aim assist. There's a difference.
Good video. I was inquisitive on the ranges and hipfire, thanks for making it easy for people to know!
you are the man! I just won a bet. I'm watching all your blops3 videos and learning so much to help me! you are the best UA-camr for call of duty, hands down
lol this probably explains why i'm wrekking people on PC, I play with controller
lol
Jonny Mckeown Well I guess it's down my own experience. I have been playing CoD for a long time with a controller on high sensitivity. I can't do my shit with keyboard and mouse.
***** I can play the game however I want. Funny thing is, keyboard and mouse normally should wreck a controller in terms of accuracy and sensitivity, yet i'm able to place myself in the top 3, even win many games first place using nothing but a controller. So I have to conclude many people on PC are bigger morons than me according to your logic.
***** I don't play CS:GO, I find it absurd you headshot people by aiming 10 miles away from them.
Pixelmonster21 I agree, it feels OP. On the contrary though, using a controller (on PC) you have to deal with the fact you're less accurate than other players (especially on large distances), and also, you have lower sensitivity (and higher sensitivity on controller is harder to manage than keyboard and mouse).
Aim assist is pure cancer, play counterstrike.
CS isn't played on console with a controller so aim assist isn't needed.
Aim assist just isn't needed
Jayden Stevens
No but it's how the devs intend for their game to be played when using a controller. With the fast pace and vertical movement, target assist is practically required if you want the game to be accessible to anyone, which is the entire goal of CoD.
It's harder for a controller
Wow, you're so cool for playing without target assist with a mouse and keyboard. Please get your massive ass ego out of here.
Thank you so much for this video, it was confusing my friends and I for the longest of times. Thanks man!
every time you upload a Cod Bo3 video i always learn something new from you. :)
thank you
Target assist exists for the lack of movement with a joystick (or what it is called) when it comes to aiming in fpses. it doesn't change the skill gap it only helps people hit more shots, not so much that everyone hits 100% of their shots (theres probably no game developer who would make a online fps game and make target assist that strong, that would ruin the concept of online gaming). which means that it haven't touched the skill gap just the possibilities for people to hit more shots and equally for everyone. saying that target assist lowers the skill gap is like saying that using something which makes it easier to aim in online games makes it less skilled, like a mouse instead of a controller or something. a mouse is more accurate when it comes to fpses but everyone uses a mouse on PC literally which means that it haven't changed the skill gap there either, since everyone still have the same possibilities because everyone uses the same thing a mouse. maybe some people uses a controller which could make it less skilled on pc in a way but its probably not good people in general anyway. i don't know if people are joking or something or want people to be annoyed when they say that theres no skill gap or something like that on console gaming because of target assist which is totally illogical to say. if there would not be a skill gap there wouldn't be such a thing as good bad or consistent players, it would be like coin flipping a random process that doesn't involve any type of skill. theres obviously a skill gap otherwise there wouldn't be players who would be so consistently in what they're doing. just seeing people who are consistent in a game proves that theres much skill involved you can't really be that consistent on guessing what side a coin is flipped which is totally based on luck which also is the point with coin flipping that it should be a random process. the point of online gaming is the opposite of a random process you should be rewarded because you're playing better than other people.
NaziAssUtube the game isn't aiming for you, that is literally like saying that everyones aim with a controller is the same. if target assist aims for you that would mean that there would be no difference between how good people can aim, which there obviously is.
if not then everyone would be just as good at aiming as everyone else. is that true? obviously not theres people with much worse aim than other people which means that the target assist is balanced and not an aim bot.
for target assist to lower the skill needed in aiming it must be as strong as to make people hit 100% of their shots, otherwise there would still be room for people to get better. and people are not even close to hit 100% of their shots with target assist on, not even with any gun. and also the target assist is the same for everyone so people still have the same possibilities with or without the target assist as everyone else, which also makes it not less skilled which you don't consider it as. because you for some reason thinks that it totally helps your aim that you don't even need to do anything, which it obviously doesn't. please tell me what online fps game on console you're referring to then because it can't be made by professional developers. or at least not being a well known game.
theres no developer who would make an online fps game with a target assist that broken that there isn't even a skill gap in the accuracy area when it comes to aiming. that would literally ruin the whole concept of online fps games. so there isn't even logic in what you're talking about.
even pc players are closer to the skill limit you can have in aiming than console players because they on average hit more bullets than console players because a mouse is a better device when it comes to speed and accuracy in fps games. so theres less room for skill in the aiming area with mouses than controllers but no one even reaches that high accuracy so there isn't even a considerable difference.
NaziAssUtube yes but i haven't said that it doesn't aim for you. what i mainly said was that it doesn't help you that much that it completely makes everyone just as good at aiming.
target assist helps you stay on target more easily while aiming at the target, and just as much for everyone. it doesn't completely lock on or follow the opponent for you that you don't need to do anything your self more than pressing the button to shot, theres no game with a target assist or aim assist that broken.
target assist or aim assist changes nothing about the skill gap in the aiming/accuracy skill in fps games. as long as it doesn't make people hit 100% of their shots, because theres still room to get better at aiming as long as people doesn't hit 100% of their shots consistently.
so basically as long as some sort of target assist or aim assist isn't strong enough to make many people hit 100% of their shots extremely consistently, then it hasn't touched the skill gap in the aiming/accuracy area of skill in fps games.
NaziAssUtube either you
for some reason can't understand the extremely basic and logical things I'm trying to explain for you, or you're just trolling.
like I'm not trying to "debate" or argue about this, i simply know whats true and whats not, so I'm only trying to explain. and for me the truth is extremely simple and not intellectually demanding at all. so compared to me i really don't see how you could possibly be serious about what you're saying.
NaziAssUtube your comments are really random and aren't really about something i've talked about.
NaziAssUtube like your stating the verbs and synonyms for assist and even more, i can almost not think of something more random, like what has that to do with this
Controllers on PC is cancer, like it is legit aimbot.
Traces through walls and everything, it takes no skill.
seriously grammar nazi jeez dude just it really doesn't matter...
It takes no skill to use AIM ASSIST.
Target assist is different, as explained in the video.
IF you wish to reject the FACT and remain in denial over something that's been proven, then so be it.
You're the one in the wrong, not us.
Thanks for this because I have been pc gaming for so long I turn off any kind of aiming assist instinctively and I was under the impression that AA is only for inexperienced players but after showing its more for the hardware limitation I feel much better turning it back on. Thanks again!
Nice one Ace , love your stats vids keep them coming . Would like you to do vid on scuffs and/or control Freeks if possible .
We are not wrong to call them newbs. They are newbs because they choose to play on a system that is inferior.
TkoSlayer wtf r u talking about, CoD is exclusive to Ps4, meaning that most of the CoD players are going to play on ps4 and probably Xbox as well, but for PC, only a few of them because CoD BO3 is better on consoles than PC
Call Duty Well, everything is better on PC, and people don't play cod on PC because they have better games to play. I don't know what your definition of exclusive is, but it's wrong
TkoSlayer all I'm saying is CoD is better on consoles than PC.
TkoSlayer exclusive meaning first choice or only at that specific thing.
Really good explanation. Thank you for the video. I found it very helpful.
Great Vid! Finally I have an explanation on why I'm sucking so hard trying to do the Thermal Challenges! It just destroyed the BRM, the Dingo and the Man O War, and I didn't know why!
thanks for your video it has definitely helped me out. I'm new to black ops 3. it's been a while since I have played COD. last one was the first black ops. this video has some good tips for new players.
good work with the black ops 3 tips and tricks. nice vids keep it up.
very thorough ace, nice vid
Omg I was waiting for this video!
I've been a Driftor sub for years, and I have to say you are filling in a lot of things that he doesn't get around to doing, and you're doing it well. Keep up the good work, you got a new sub!
Also, I saw you get a double kill with the Hellstorm... G.O.A.T. Status achieved. I'm pretty sure it's written in the game code that it can only get one kill at a time.
Good video! You and Drift0r are my favourite COD youtubers because your more analytical.
Great work - I always thought the shevia was so much more difficult to use with the thermal
You got my sub. Nice video, very informative.
I rarely comment but great video keep up the great work!
Good video! Perfect explained! Thx! :D
Thanks for video. Helped a lot!
great vid Ace
Thanks Ace. I was wondering about this the week the game released. I actually think the target assist is tooo much! Thanks for clearing up any misconceptions and misinformation. Great video and use of UA-cam.
Just what I need to hear in maximizing my kill/death ratio. Thanks for the info!
This helps me mostly with burst assault rifles, especially the M8A7, but not so much with the Pharo or the 48 Dredge
that strafing tip really helped me
Hey I wanted to suggest again that I think a video about predicting/manipulating spawns would be super awesome!
oh man!!! dude thank you!!!!! its on now....GREAT VIDEO!!!
Great tips and vids man. Just wanted to say thank you and sub!
Ace, the "through-wall target assist" is just your Jedi powers manifesting. ;)
Great video Ace. ;)
Nice vid. Well done for testing all of the attachments.
It's worth noting that the sticky aim only when you are moving is a new mechanic to BO3 that to my knowledge hasn't occurred in any other CoD. In every other CoD sticky aim is always active whether or not you are moving your feet (with the exception of BO2 snipers that had no aim assist when the ads trigger was not being pressed).
+FlickerBean This isn't true, it has been in previous titles. In AW it was referred to as aim assist rotation.
+TheXclusiveAce You misread my comment.
I said that sticky aim was in previous titles, but it was active even if your feet weren't moving. And that it being active only when your feet are moving is a new mechanic. :)
+FlickerBean You're right, I misread it. Sorry about that! I read over hundreds of comments a day so I'm bound to misread a few.
+TheXclusiveAce Not a problem, we all appreciate you even taking the time to respond to your followers, which I note you do regularly :)
what an exellent well explained video. congratulations
Very informative. This video always show when I look up BO3 stuff under related videos and I ignored thinking I already know the basic of it and no point of knowing more about it. Boy I was wrong this is actually interesting. its good to know the range and what does not get aim assist. Now i feel ignorant for ignoring this video for a long time:). This video should get more views than this
Ace, here is an idea for a video. How about custom builds; your goto setup, and some reasoning behind the builds and maybe a couple suggestions for the first few Prestige unlocks!?

OH thanks a lot bro !
Cause I hit some sick shots with the Locus and I thought the game helped me.
No wonder why I always struggle with the Sheiva in gungame but like it in normal game modes
great video just subscribed
hey ace been a watcher for years you have helped alot, one thing i will say of anyone that has made a video about aim assist is, no one goes into how they use the aim assist. We all watch players that are beasts including yourself, and maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like those beast use aim assist differently than others. For example watching people jump shot spin and lock in on a target. I dont know if you guys think about it maybe its just instinct , but if you have any thought on how to use aim assist more effectively that would be cool. If not great video either way, keep putting em out! You helped get me from a .8 kd to a1.20 and from 120 spm to 170 so thanks lol!
Finally jesus christ I've been looking for a video on this forever
appreciate the work this man did. leave a like
Informative video Ace. (Edited comment)
I think the other reason it's easier to aim with mouse+keyboard is Degree of Control.
Mouse position x maps to view angle θ = f(x).
Thumbstick position x maps to angular velocity θ=f‘(x).
On a helicopter, joystick position x maps to acceleration f‘‘(x).
This is why precisely hovering a helicopter is incredibly difficult, while your cursor is kind of just an extension of your hand.
That said, I'm bad with a mouse and find it less immersive, so I play on console. But I think this is why it's a more effective aiming device.
Thanks, this was very informative and cleared up some nagging questions for me. What are your feelings toward mouse and keyboard users on console? IE: XIM/Venom/titan one?
Thank you I learned so much
+TheXclusiveAce you earned yourself a sub and a like. I've been watching many of your videos lately and I find them very cool and interesting. Keep up the good work!
I've noticed if your ads while an enemy is coming into view it will track them but not be on target so it actually works against you.
thx for clearing that up
Hey Ace. As someone who plays both on PC and and PS4 and has tried both controller on PC and Xim4(KB+M) on console, there actually is a large difference in the ease of fighting with aim assist at certain areas. If you are playing hardcore, you will absolutely thrash everyone with a KB+M at any difference.
However, for whatever reason, target assist gives you a pretty huge leg up close range with both flinch and recoil. I'm not really sure the mechanics behind it, but the Kuda with no target assist kicks like a mule in a firefight, while with aim assist the thing turns into an absolute pocket ACR. Also, at close range because of the ridiculously limited FoV(this is for console only) the target assist at close range is ridiculously helpful. If two players start strafing and shooting each other, the KB+M player will get hit with flinch knocking him off target. In this time, he will have had to figure out what was going on and try to readjust and find the target in this time while the target is moving to the side at extremely close range. However, with a controller with target assist, once you get flinched, while you might not be able to figure out exactly what's going on, your target assist has helped guide you through the flinch so that you stay on target and can follow up shots with ease.
For these reasons, assisted controllers absolutely destroy KB+M players by the aid of the aim assist. medium to long rang the mouse dumps on the controller. I'm not saying whether it's right or wrong, just the main differences and why PC players get irritated at VMP strafing death lasers using controllers that they can't fight back against.
very well done explanation. I play on PC with mouse and keyboard and have heard some wild misconceptions about how this works. I got into a pretty big argument with buddy of mine who was getting shrekt in a public game and he was asserting that as long as you've had crosshairs on a target (say for half a second), all bullets will go to that target for a half second no matter where else your cross hair has moved. It doesnt even make sense.... any way I'll be pointing him to this video for some actual analysis to correct his BS conjecture. Keep rockin man!
nice video, keep it up
Great video.
That's why it's so hard for me to track targets with thermal! I couldn't figure out why thermal sucks so bad.
Great info
Thank you for paying attention for our request ... But why didn't you analyse the handguns??
Well done. Thank you.
