In general? Sure.
I mainly use mine as a PSP Pro with the occasional Vita game here and there like Persona or Gravity Rush. The PSP playback on a modded system is AMAZING. So much better than anything of the PSP models.
To me it's worth it just as a PSP system alone, the Vita stuff might as well be a bonus. Not to mention you can play most of the PS1 library as well.
Just about missed the premier, bummer. Keep up the great content mate, love hearing about weird ports, especially when they turn out horrifically such as this one
Imagine if this were fully completed.
Having watched your vids since “Don’t Meet your heroes”, I’m very impressed with how far you’ve come. I look forward to your future vids and hope that you continue reviewing the Gran Turismo series.
I might pick this up for my PS Vita to see how it is
Its really not as bad as he makes it out to be.
@@poncho828 yeah ikr.the campaign was trash tho.i liked the multiplayer
Dont trust me don't do it to yourself. Spawn killing is presnt in multiplayer..... low frame drops as well. Its shit 1 hour campaign was a slap to the face. Its bad as he says it is. Play cod mobile instead or killzone on the vita you'll thank me.
This is a ridiculously underrated game, IMO it was loved when created it was just the time limit they had to make it that it wasn't as polished as it should be, another 6 months of development and this would have been a solid release. I honestly loved it as one of my favourite cods, I liked the smaller maps and quick gameplay as it was only a portable game. More maps, zombies and the game being more polished would have been incredible.
Bro i remember when this cam out I thought it was bo1 on ps vita when I played it well...
i come from the future, they put nukehouse in bo6 (warhead)
I remember having to choose between this or Killzone: Mercenary. I chose killzone and i didn't regret it, that game was fun and very gorgeous compared to this
I have both games but killzone was more fun in my opinion
It's honestly a shame the PS Vita failed, it was a powerful handheld and that more large titles would likely have made it more popular.
@@ChaseMC215 You could get gta lcs stories and gta vice city stories on ps vita store and Chinatown war too
You should do a cod mobile review
Man I played this game so much with a full party with all my friends and this game is the most fun I had on my vita and who could forget the speed glitch with your knife
If you want CoD DS reviews, support the Patreon stretch goal so I can get a DS capture card and play them as intended (and play the multiplayer!) www.patreon.com/kaceycalhoon
wish I had money to donate with, cod ds isnt even bad
You should really try out COD Mobile. It is way better than this mess.🙂
maybe you can try get a hacked new 3ds and use ntr
@@dinisb that would cost just as much and work not as well. I already have a 3DS to get a card for
@@Kaceydotme you can't play the multiplayer anymore except when on fanmade servers, its easy though and doesn't require an SD card, want me to show you how?
I think it's a testament to what Call of Duty is that you could find matches of a COD Game on the PSVita from 2012. An 8 year old game, on a failed console yet COD still lives.
Premiere gang rise up
PREMIERE GANG
Great video kacey, glad to see someone covering the ps vita, I got one last year!
I remember that weird CoD: Heroes mobile game. Also, The Strike Team one, that one was pretty fun actually.
I'm glad people are still making videos on psvita games I'm a vita veterin myself
This guy only makes videos on bad ports to playstation consoles lol
My first video was Half-Life 2 for Xbox if that’s what you’re insinuating
@@Kaceydotme I am talking you talking about bad ports and games you haven't a uploaded a single bad xbox port video unless that game is also on playstation it more of a joke don't take it seriously
Ah, everyone’s favorite Call of Duty map: “Nukehouse”
The video ended while I put the HEV suit on I thought my speakers were broken
I remember playing declassified hoping that they would add zombies to the game in each update
my one toxic trait is that i love and cherish this game and still play it far too often because online is still active enough to get into matches
Well made, love the music choices in the background
I had a lot of fun with that game. Technically my first CoD game and it wasn't bad. Wish the campaign was longer though
I remember those ads for Black Ops on Vita. Even back then I thought that looked horrible.
The trend of rushing smaller studios for handheld and previous gen ports caused another potentially great game to be mediocre. I didn't even think about the games engine until you pointed it out, and I was blown away to know it wasn't CoD's engine. For what it is, and the tiny timeframe they had to develop it, I'm very impressed.
Great video, as always!
And what a damn banger you put at the ending 😎
It was more stable than Resistance: Burning Skies, and was servicable as an online FPS for the system, at least until Killzone: Mercenary came and blew it out of the water (and became one of the system's best games, as well as become the best game in that franchise).
Do a video on Killzone: Mercenary, as well as other Vita titles as well. Wipeout 2048 (along with its HD and HD Fury DLCs) would also be a perfect place to start on Vita reviews.
Just bought a vita yesterday, love the multiplayer of Declassified👌
this was my first cod game baby. I loved it. The multiplayer was so fun, but you get so many life after death medals due to the horrible aiming system as well as the internet
I had about 1-2k hours on this when i was young. I made so many friends on this game, played in full lobbies, trolled people, etc.. and now I haven't talked to or seen them in over 6 years lol
I love your videos man, they're so interesting and well made!
2:30 what a stupid massive exaggeration
This could have an amazing game if Sony cared about PSvita and Activison cared about the game.
both just dropped and it's a damn shame.
I still play COD Declassified MP on an (somewhat) regular basis, i agree that since all those years there are still quite a lot of people playing it (in Europe at least), at almost every time of the day i can search for a MP game and i'll find it
And as you said in your video, even after seeing all the flaws of the game, the poor singleplayer campaign, the shitty hostile mode, the MP really is a great thing to play, since i was 7 (cod 4 release) i was dying to see a COD port to PSP, now we (sort of) have it, and i just can't say how much i appreciate being able to play COD MP when i'm at my lunch pause at work
Killzone: Mercenary is how you make a portable shooter.
MP was fun, just no single player.
Yessss another video about weird ports/versions of games!
Can't lie, I've still had some fun with this game.
And is still the most active multiplayer game on the vita to this day. I still find consistent games
Damn, this and the DS games were my childhood. Even though I knew this was trash, I still made max rank. BO Declassified had so much potential, along with the Vita as a whole. Do I smell a video on the DS cods on the horizon?
I used to love playing multiplayer in this as a kid. Killzone was 10,000,000 times better but id still boot into this pretty often.
These days I play CoD Mobile more than any other CoD. I guess I just like portable CoD games lol
Cod is actually damn near the perfect mobile game. It can be played for 10 minutes, be fun and if you wanted you could play it for a couple hours. It's a shame activision has never brought some version to switch.
@@Yodagamer1 Yeah i really wish CoD Mobile woulda come out on Switch. It could easily run it, and the game already has controller support. Would be HUGE for Switch too
ngl though once you get good with the gyro aiming in CoD:M its hard to go back to just analogs lol. I actually switched to PC with a PS5 controller specifically so i could set up gyro aiming in all my games. Wish these console games would start including it as a standard option
If Declassified had zombies and co-op on survival, I think it would've fared at least a bit better. I played it a lot, even recently, and the servers on Team Deathmatch are still quite strong.
Dude when the BOII Raid loadingscreen music started playing at 10:43 i got goosebumps everywhere my god
10:33*
Man man childhood..... I don’t wanna be old :(
